  • We built our own version of a Japanese Soaking tub. This is something that anyone can do if you put in the time and effort! The epoxy definitely helped keep this thing water proof and it's going to look great in our van! If you are looking for epoxy resin and hardener, the link below worked great!
    Titebond III Glue: amzn.to/3l1fjqL
    Varathane Finish: amzn.to/3l1x2yD
    Epoxy Resin & Hardener bundle: amzn.to/327PWLj

    Super deluxe! I can’t imagine anything more luxurious in a van ... especially after a cool day.

    Hey Bryce and Katie! That turned out pretty cool! Great to catch you all at 854 subs and looking forward to your videos. What is one thing you think your van is lacking? ✌️ -Marshall

      Thank you! We are REALLY trying to hit that 1k mark lol. That’s a great question...an AC unit would be pretty nice 😂. In actuality though, I think snow tires or just better tires would be a game changer

    Actually this was quite fascinating. Never thought of using pine for a tub.

    How's the tub holding up? I am thinking about doing the same but a bit bigger for our bathroom. Has the epoxy held up to hot water?

    • @brycekatie3492
      @brycekatie3492  3 роки тому +3

      The bathtub has held up great! I would highly recommend it. I’d also recommend more than 1 coat of epoxy just to be safe

      Thank you! It took us probably 20 hours of actual labor time and cost us around $150 if I remember correctly

      We are going to drill a hole for a drain and plumb it under the van into our gray tank!

    Hello, just out of curiosity what were the dimensions you used when making this? I'd love to build one for my mom for her deck.

      Off the top of our heads we don’t remember, but we can measure it and let you know! I believe it was 22 inches wide by 46 long
