    Wish they had a video for a frame that wraps the wall and uses expansion / lag bolts.

      If the frame wraps the wall and the wall is already existing the frame must be knockdown type to wrap as a 3 piece frame. Then you can secure the frame with the header to jamb screws so the frame is 1 piece held on by the 4 top screws holding the header to the 2 jambs. Then the same punched/dimpling can be used but you would remove the throat butterfly anchors because they are going to be too wide and will interfere by hitting the block. If you wrap the wall I suggest 4" long shorter CMU lag bolts

    What anchors do you use when the block is hollow.

      I used 1/4 tapcons and it worked alright

      Instead of the 5" or 6" long CMU lag bolts you can use the 4" long and it should grab the front of the block.
