Thanks for watching and the sub! Ask any questions - I'll try and answer them and help if possible. You might start reading the assembly guides and watch some build videos. I have referenced them in previous videos. Take your time and if you don't understand a step look for help. Some of the instructions are confusing. Good luck on your build, what version did you order?
@@nullvoid413 I hope you enjoy it. I have two V-core 3 Rat Rigs a 400 and a 500 - like the 4 better, it is built more solid and they made some great improvements. I may get another v-core 4 - 500 will see, so far so good.
Hey looks like you got it moving right along. That a big printer. We knew you would get rolling right along after awhile. Thanks for the update. Now we will see what creations come off of it. Take care
Thanks, I did not get the Idex, for a couple of reasons, the time wait and the cost, I want to see others and may retrofit this one. The Hybrid is a good improvement and was very cost effective.
Do you think the VC4 500 can be tuned to print as well as the Bambu X1C? I need a printer that can print very large and tall prints ~450^3 near perfectly. Thanks
I think it can, I adjusted the speed down, and am getting some great prints. I'll post a video soon showing some. The speed in Prusa Slicer was AAA350mm - way too fast, I lowered it to 100mm/sec.
It can be run very fast because it is well built and a Core xy is designed to be fast. It also has two motors to just assist in moving the carriage. I have mine running at less than half of the max speed, and is still one of my fastest printers. The large size is actually a drawback to speed, since there is so much mass to move quickly.
Subscribed! Just purchased mine a week ago. Can’t wait!
Post more videos about it, it’s really interesting to see.

@ thanks for the tips buddy!
I ordered the VCore 4 500 with the idex upgrade

Now I can't stop watching the black dot go around! LOL! Mesmerizing.
I can't believe they did not design an indicator for it. I guess I'll have to do that - just have to figure out what it should be. Thanks for watching
the clog detection works only with a PTFE tube

you need a ptfe tube anchored on both sides, and the filament passing through for the sensor to detect the jam
Thanks. I'll have to set something up when I move it.
Love the video good sir looks amazing 👏
Thanks Dan, now to start moving things around, but you know what that is like, too many printers and too little space.
@woodwaker1 yes good sir. It is a pain at times. Have a great day good sir.
Dave you are amazing.
Bob, thanks for watching and the kind words. This has been a very interesting project spanning over 3 months.
This is awesome currently working on the wiring for mine 😃
Good luck. I tried to keep the wiring neat, but so many are just too long and I didn't want to cut them and have to put new connectors on..
Lovely content! IDEX next LOL

Great looking printer. It would be awesome compare the speed and quality of the tree printed on each of your printers.

It's a fast machine?????? Because of the size???
