It's like a full time job, with overtime! I'm in awe of how you deal with chronic illness, and so gracefully and positively.
The lipids (fats) can separate.
OMG That noise was your hip. Then you just make a weird movement and put it back in place without missing a beat. I'm amazed and a little sad that it is just a normal thing for you. You're so organized but I guess you have to be. You handle all of this with such grace and a level of maturity beyond your years.
I'm thinking maybe wait when did that happen?
@@Brittn_wolf I could be wrong but I think it was as she went to sit on the floor. It was quick and she just said "oh my hip" but I heard the pop. You know Amy she doesn't make a big deal when stuff happens. Like I said I could have misread the situation.
@@Brittn_wolf Listen @ about 1:38 . Tell me how you read that sound and move..
@@imthinkingmaybe2615 yeah that coulda been her hip. Us zebras get pretty smooth at relocating joints, it just happens so freaking often you can't be bothered reacting anymore lol.
@@DahliaVonHellion I was just amazed then started to question if I heard that right. I think all you zebras live with very complicated illnesses, I feel for all of you.
That ka-chunk of your hip! I can feel it. I have EDS hypermobile type and there is no mistaking the sound of a subluxation or dislocation. You are so pragmatic about the whole thing. No drama, just accept and move on. That's admirable. I know that we tend to expect pain and dislocations and put up with much more than most people would, but you exceed my expectations of myself. I also admire your organization skills. You're a superstar, Amy. Gentle hugs. I'm proud of you.
I like how organized you are with the medical stuff.
Being organized with this stuff is the best. We just moved and our new place has a designated closet which holds everything, it's perfect.
All these medical stuff sounds so scary for someone like me who's worst illness was a flu nine years ago...
You're so brave! You talk openly about stuff that's scary for most of us. Thank you!
So impressed. I can relate. My husband gets TPN every week and medical supplies. Tons of boxes.
I really want that same set of drawers. I'm a Type One Diabetic, so having a way to organize all the supplies I get would be amazing, and the drawers you have would be perfect for that.
I've become quite addicted to your videos.
I am addicted to watched to Amy Lee Fisher videos on UA-cam videos on my phone each day and night
How did you and Tom meet ? I’d love to hear the story 💜 your so inspiring x
You never complain.. I really admire you❤
Watching your videos have made me positive towards life and made me feel that how lucky I am...
Hope you are always doing well♥
I just wanted to say a thank you for making your vlogs and videos, my boyfriend slipped on ice on Tuesday and broke his elbow off and had to get surgery I was terrified! But having watched your videos for a while I understood far more about what was going on with medication and flushes and surgery I know they're two very different things but your videos helped me keep calm :) thank you :)
Alex McCormick I’m sorry about your boyfriend hun! I hope he has a speedy recovery ❤️ and I’m glad my videos helped 👌🏽😅
I love these types of videos. My OCD is happy when I see everything so neatly put away. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Love how organized you are and inspired by your positive nature !
Really enjoyed this. Is it weird that I’d like to see a medicine tour as well? I’m weird I know 😆
I love this! I seriously wish I could just stock medical supplies in people's homes lol
I do IV hydration but only get enough supplies for two weeks at a time so i never get a whole box of syringes etc. It helps not to have too much backstock. Good job with organization.
when i started my dialysis 10 years ago, i was a pd patient b4 and baxter fluids is what I'm using until i got infected and tranfer on hd. ❤ God bless and more power to u too ❤❤
One fine day , I started seeing your videos on my recommends and I thank those UA-cam robots and algorithms for this . You're the kind of positive person I aspire to become someday. ❤Sending Love, all the way from Pondicherry, a sweet little beach town in the southern India.
I am so impressed with how you take care of yourself so well, especially in a difficult situation. As someone who is doing the dance of figuring out what my diagnosis is, and what the treatment will be, I find your attitude of willingness and hope inspiring.😷 👍🤗
I thought I had alot of medical supplies delivered. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Tough few years without your lovely videos and I still think about you every now and then as you became my favourite youtuber for a time. I can’t believe you’re gone! 😢 Still, your impact on the world will never be forgotten! 🩵
My dad gets his dialysis equipment from Baxter! We keep the box’s around Xmas time and use them to put presents in.
My all-time favourite Video❤❤. Watched it over 20times 🙈
Amy can you do a "what's in my bag video" ? Love you so much!😍😍 You are looking great!! 👑💗
You should get a paper towel dispenser to keep them of the bench
Wow that's a lot to deal with! You're one tough cookie
That is my son’s name Baxter. Have never seen or heard it anywhere until after we named him and now we see it on different products.
We have weekly curbside recycling pick up. I'm trying to convince my city to let me have a second blue bin [I said I'd pay for it] because between all the boxes and all the cartons of Neocate Splash we have so much recycling every week.
Thanks for this video. I don't have TPN but I have diabetes supplies and tons of other supplies that I need to get organized. this was ever so helpful.
Hey Amy great Vlog, can you please do a vlog on all of your medications that you take and what you use them for !!!!
I really hope you get well... you deserve a healthy life
Tegaderm is my best friend. Bloody expensive though. Do you have to pay full price or a contribution or is it covered? I pay over $100 for a box of tegaderm 😭
Kaleena everything is free in uk if she’s a certain age or circumstances xx
Amy lives in Australia, and depending on the situation, you can get major discounts with medicare and low income cards, not sure if she falls in those catagories though
@@hayleywhiting2843 I am too but consumables aren't generally covered and are full price. Also nutritional drinks cost us $160/fortnight for a cerebral palsy kid. Expensive.
@@kalnic69 damn yeah thats expensive :/ i used to work at priceline the one with a pharmacy attached and the amount of people buying literally one little box of pills and paying $150 broke my heart
:) Yikes that's a lot of box's....im glad you didn't hurt yourself lifting them
I always enjoy unboxing my medical stuff it’s like Christmas
Yay another video I love watching all your vlogs you have such a positive look on life I hope your doing good 💗💕💕
Love watching and how inspirational you are!! Yay Amy’s on lol 😂 💕 much love from the states
Youre so organized! It's amazing!
What's the cost of all your medical supplies for a month
There is universal health care in Australia. However, I'm sure it doesn't cover it all!
Its free, in England you don't pay for any medical things its called NHS
neil jessop except she doesn’t live in england
@@courtney3746 She used too! I think Australia is pretty similar when it comes to medical things too
@@Yoongisgreyhairs_ what do you mean free? they pay taxes 🤣
Do u have a video explaining how you found out you have EDS and Gastroparesis?
I can't wait to see the house/home you and Tom get. While watching your vlog the other day I came across the video you did when you were getting ready to move to Australia. So while I was watching that video "again" lol, i realized that i have been watching you for almost 3 years i believe. :) I just love you and wish we didn't live in different countries..
I live in the United states.
Your nice ,my husband cleans up all my stuff !
Great video you are very organized
All this gear must cost such alot. $$ glad you have access to it though
At least if you have friends/family thats moving you can hand off all the boxes 😅
I love the trauma shears you use to open boxes!
I love your videos!! They make feel that everything is posible and how brave and positive you are! 💛
And your personality is so cool!
Hi from Mexico💛 love youu
Seriously you have to do it all alone..😱😱
It’s dangerous for your condition and for your health..please stay safe ❤️and more careful✨
I do every single month medical supplies got me crazy
Yesssss the ramones!!!! Yeah
Sorry my queen i'm late but i just want to tell you that thanks for uploading and i promise i will love and support you more and better!! 😘😘😘💜❤💜❤💜
Always find your videos so interesting. Your gorgeous girl 💕
Good morning from America, Amy!! ❤️❤️❤️
Some IV fluids have to be kept in the fridge to maintain sterility. If you get bags that have had the air removed, or air removed and tubing primed, they must be kept in the fridge until a few hours before use, they can be taken out and left out for 24 to 48 hours depending on what your home care company says. It's not always a matter of preference and sometimes must be done to ensure the fluids are kept safe.
Riiot09, that’s if someone opens the sterile packaging. I guess a nurse might do that to try to make things easier for a caretaker, but that’s not really a great idea. It’s super easy to spike and prime a bag, and it’s not ideal to put 3 degree fluids in your 37 degree body.
@@anthonypetrillo841 my home health company will not send out bags to patients with CADD pumps with air in them, it's a liability. I did state that if the bag has been accessed, it needs to be in the fridge.
Riiot09, yeah, but you don’t usually use a CADD to bolus a liter of Plasma-Lyte. Haha
If you do, there’s not enough air in an IV bag to cause an air embolism; definitely not a liability. And if the patient is self-administering anything through an IV, he/she should know how to set it up. Your company can have whatever procedures they want, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t silly.
@@anthonypetrillo841 I get way more than 1L of fluids at a time. It also seems that we are in different countries. Different countries do things in different manners. I could say that some of Amy's procedures are silly but they are set forth by her home care company. If your home care does something a certain way, you follow it. Many people in the United States receive bags with the air removed. Not going to sit here and keep debating it with you. Bottom line if your bags have the air removed, it is not a matter of preference.
Organisation is key 😊
hey Amy, I wish I was as organised as you! interesting video xx love, hugs and best wishes ☺😊😚👴👍👌👐
Wow, I would suck at this, I'm such a messy person. But I guess you need to be.
Please feel free to ignore, or you may have talked about this before, but how is all your supplies funded (especially as someone who has moved from the UK)? I hope that doesn't come across as rude, I'm studying OT in Australia, I'm not just trying to be nosy. It's just some knowledge that would be good to have if I'm working in a community setting, we need to know lots of random things to support out clients. Especially if we're the first or only clinician seeing them in the community.
Ally I’m a diabetic from northern europe and always keep my medical supplies and that of my father organised because it is important. You need to be able to grab things you need but so do medical personnel in case of emergency
If you don't live in the UK (united kingdom) anymore where do you live at now (like state, city, etc..)
In the Send me Mail part of the description says australia.
Your absolutely amazing! Love watching your videos!
*side note love the doona cover.. Remember where you got it?
Thanks Amy.
Why do you have to use the top ones first
Truly an inspiration thank u 👏🙏
Wow so crazy to see because I work at Baxter here in America at our Mountain home, Ar location! ❤️😌🙃
Question what if you wanted to go to a different country for a vacation how do u get your meds
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rip Amy ❤️
Are you able to work with your medical condition? (Part time or full time job)
UA-cam is her job
@@alexwilliams5223 that's not what I was asking but ok. I didnt know if she had another job and was curious.
Maybe a video on coping methods for chronic pain and chronic fatigue that can go with it or what helps you out and how you deal with things other than meds or if you have a particular med that is a god send to you yes meds aren't the same for everyone and what works for one might not work for others but coping methods would be a great idea for a video x also please kick my arse I've got a package to send to you and tom mainly you and i need the push to get it sent on Monday x
Awesome video!
Wow I just noticed we have the same right ear piercing wise!
R.I.P
Can you do a video about food and drinks thats is easy and not easy to take care of
Bless you
My mum works for Baxter’s
You should list the boxes. Maybe people would want them for moving. :)
I’d like to know where you got the drawers for your organization
I like your shirt The Ramones
Gosh I miss seeing you, Amy. Rest easy
Why does it say use first?
Maybe they expire first than the two at the bottom.
God sent you for a reason DEAR AMY ; loving you dearly and your presentation / you keep people feel good about themselves no matter what LLOVE YOU DEARLY AND GIVE A LOT OF FOLKS A lot of hope sweetheart ❗️. Love you always ♥️🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊🦋🤓🇨🇦
one question who pay for all that stuff?
I think Australia has some kind of universal healthcare.
I love your videos 😍
Wow amazing
No! People shouldn’t keep IV fluids in the fridge; it’ll drop your body temperature if you put 3 degree solution in your 37 degree body! Sometimes in the hospital they actually go in warmers. You do a really good job taking care of yourself; maybe one day you could be a nurse. :)
I have to take pills for my thyroid disease everyday and I get irritated by it sometimes. I can't imagine doing this every month or however frequent you do this
I had no clue Baxter delivered TPN. I viewed them as dialysis only, since they seem to be the competition with the current company I work for. I used to hate delivering TPN, because the boxes were so dang heavy.
Your house very clean,,i like see your house,
Do you have to pay for all the supplies?
How are you so positive
Would you do a video of your wheelchair please xx
Catherine Britton it’s not anything special, I’m not sure if it’s worth making a video about? 😅
RIP miss you
Is that a Hickman that you have on your chest or a pickline? I had a Hickman when I was 18 years old and I had a blood clot that went to my heart. Luckily it didn’t do any damage that they could see. That was not fun.
How do you afford all of it? Do you get it paid for?
In england the NHS pays for it so its free
Does your insurance pay for all this or do you have to
Feel bad
My dialysis is Baxter 5 yeary ago now my kidney transplant I lost my ear.
That's a lot of stuff! Do you have to pay for all that?
I think insurance covers most of it
Does your insurance pay for all that. That has to be expensive
I had a picc and have been infusing for the last 3 mos. now, I have a tunneled power line. I’m dying to take a shower. Can you do a video on showering with a central line? Thank you! Your fellow zebra 🦓
