Shout to the Chief for showing up and speaking candidly, but hitting on a couple key household/family points.
We’ve been talking the same stuff for decades now. Hard to see some things really getting changed due to a number of reasons.
However, recognizing when the law is breaking the law and resulting in the deaths of citizens, those occurrences shouldn’t be receiving protection and unwavering resistance.

OH… MY… GOD, shut uppppp with this! Stop being tricked by this racist talking point.
      1) There's historical evidence to prove that racist people came up with that talking point to FIGHT AGAINST and DEFLECT civil rights bills/police reform bills.
      2) There is NO SUCH THING as "black on black" crime, crime is simply crime, no matter who does it. Why do you never say "white on white crime? B/c speaking about black crime is a racist deflection.
All people, of all color, kill who they are close to. Most murders are done NEAR THE HOME, and by SOMEONE YOU KNOW.
      3) Police are notorious for making fake reports, especially when involving black people.
      4) Crime in ANY community has NO RELATION to how the police should behave.
      5) and finally, police departments have been proven over and over to house neo-nazis groups, KKK chapters, etc. Police are openly hostile to black life.
      6) Police departments grew out of slave-catching patrols. So it's racist history is impossible to deny.
      7) Why don't you tell white people to stop shooting up schools? Are you on those videos leaving comments. White people commit the most domestic terrorism in the USA, are you leaving comments about that?
Y'all self-hating black people sicken me. Police treatment of an entire group of citizens has nothing to do with crime, if it does why don't cops raid the houses of random white people looking for KKK uniforms? (hint: they'd be raiding their own houses)
      Cops are PUBLIC SERVANTS, period!

When I was 14 I watched my best friend who I'd black almost get arrested because we were standing outside of a coffee shop in San Jose waiting for his uncle, who happens to be white (he married my friends aunt), and 4 cops cars swarm us grab my friend while pushing me out of the way and begin cuffing him. I was yelling why are you arresting him. They said he committed an armed robbery an hour ago. I said no he didn't we were not even in San Jose yet. They told me I was lying. Then his uncle came running outside, aside from him being white he is a lawyer. Because of him my best friend wasn't wrongfully arrested. Apparently he fit the description of young black male with dreadlocks. My friend didn't have dreads at that time he had an afro. When they finally unruffled him after a few minutes of arguing with his uncle, they didn't apologize, they gave him a look as if to say "your lucky your uncle is here or you would be coming with us." I've seem countless instances of police racially profiling him throughout our friendship. It's past time for a major change in the way police.

Ofcourse no one perfect. But if your doing the right thing and obey police officers you most of the time stay alive. Treated fairly is questionable but alive highly likely.

Exactly.. police do need reform, but thats a small issue that impacts communities like mine.
They talk about police brutality and the court system as if THATS the reason my fellow black and brown ppl get caught up in a bad lifestyle...
      Idiots

Wajad, there is an Asian officer in Detroit named Stephen Kue (Look Him Up)who is currently being investigated after having EIGHTY FIVE COMPLAINTS filed against him for abuse and harrasment of black residents, many of whom were PROVEN to be simply going about their business. So what do we do to avoid officers like him since, in YOUR opinion, we only get harrased when we break the law or don't do what the cops tell us???

Fake talking points and one of the worst officers to wear a badge. Not to mention a guy who caused his own misery. A guy that represents African Americans and forgets about black people. Worst episode of the shop. Good series though

The way we correct it, is by getting rid of Bet and all this black power crap, you’re literally segregating yourself from everyone. My child doesn’t know anything about color, she is 5. That’s because me and my wife don’t mention anything about color. We are all human beings.
