As a real ex-Republican Evangelist I can't with all honesty support trump or what he stands for. Pick a Commandment and rest assured, trump has violated it in spades. There are many Evangelicals out there that don't support trump and his "Its okay to break a commandment as long as you get what you want" life style. We are not all like that. I am so glad we have Kamala as a viable candidate. I support her and her team 100%.

@@lindabb621 I spent a decade in North Carolina in my early career… in the 1970’s…as a local reporter covering the tiny, struggling Republicans in my county. It was some of the most rewarding, and fun, work in a very eclectic career. They were earnest, honest people…small business owners, a few local college teachers…and a county chairman who regarded me with suspicion initially because I was raised in Massachusetts, a red flag to him.
They were middle aged then, so are no longer with us. Thank heaven, because the state of their party now would be heartbreaking to them.

I'm in a deep red state. In 2016 and 2020, there were lots of Trump signs, flags, bumper stickers, etc. but I have yet to see anywhere near the same level of support this time.

The problem with you Trump haters is that you don't bother to look up facts before you type your incorrect remarks.
It is, historically low.
No it is not. It has dropped from about 7 Percent in 2021 6 percent in 2022 to about 3 percent currently. Also have a look at rates in the 70’s and 80’s. 1974- 12 percent, 1975 -6 percent 1979- 6.8, 1979- 13.3, 1980- 12.5, 1981- etc. [nflation rate provided by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. ] you might want to do the research yourself.
