Drop two, circle back and strafe the few survivors with the cannon and you're like Zeus letting your wrath loose on the people. Just an awesome weapon.

As usual, great video... perhaps just as a side note on CCRP it is worth mentioning that the delivery distance is centered on the target designator, as to say the Fire Control Computer calculates the amount of RP's at a given distance from that point for every bomb. That is why the first bomb fell short of the target, but all successive RP's delivered the weapons on target... This with Ground radar BM or GMT mode, and we're set :) I'm really psyched for this module! Keep up the good work!
Unrelated question, when can we expect the new humidity system in the weather engine? Would it allow different kinds of weather scenarios like heavy snowfall and stuff? You guys are killing it with the Viper, keep it up!

I have been developing this for the past several months. Most of the TOLD calculations are complete. Using external references I am able to get weight and drag info for most munitions on the F16. However, I am not sure of the stations that DCS will be using. Is it possible to get a screenshot of the viper's loadout page? This will definitely aid me in the development of this resource. according to Wiki, the block 40 through 52's APG-68 was upgraded in august of 2004 to the V10 standard which allows for Terrain following mode along with GPS guided aided weapons. Sorry but I did not at all understand how 87’s and 97’s are released at the same time. Was something missed of the video? I also don’t understand the part about the horizontal bar in ccip mode, and how that means the impact ping is the same distance from the Piper as the horizontal line. In the demo the Piper comes over the target and bomb release is pressed end of story, negating that whole explanation.
Set to PRS (pairs instead of SGL). The lines simply indicates that the CCIP location on the HUD is not true, and the distance just let's you know how far off the bottom of the HUD the true impact point is.
So, even though you said it would be CCIP and CCRP only for early release, the comments keep asking if it will have additional bombing modes. So, I have to ask----- WILL IT HAVE ANY ALTERNATE BOMBING MODES UPON EARLY RELEASE??

So, I have to ask-----
WILL IT HAVE ANY ALTERNATE BOMBING MODES UPON EARLY RELEASE??
CCIP and CCRP at early access release and DTOS, LADD, and MAN after.
Thanks a lot.
Hey Wags (or 9l) let's keep the streak up!
Will the F16 have the Conformal Fuselage Tanks? (cft)
That would not be accurate for a USAF/ANG Viper.
@@MattWagner ok nice, thanks!
13 ground units disliked this video.
Why not do the pilot's movements as on the f14? at 00:19 when the pilot turns his head he looks like he has a broomstick in his ass...
Comeeeee on early relase
The autumn starts in 23rd of september. Is this a hint??
Will Dive Toss mode be in for the initial release?
CCIP CCRP for release.
Matt will this version of the F16 be getting the Terrain following radar?
No, this is a block 50.
Matt Wagner mmh but the b50 can mount an/aqq13 which it has tfr
@@CapitanTavish. I think you may be thinking of the Block 40/42. The 50/52 have never used TFR operationally.
Matt Wagner
Probably you are right and my memories defies me, tho technically and softwarelly speaking the lantrin nav pod as much as the targeting one has no problem getting mounted on b50
@@CapitanTavish. US Block 50/52 have never operated with LANTIRN, I'm not sure how more clear I can be.
Just take my money, now!
For real the Viper ist the most sexy Jet of them all. Ther Hornet looks good but can´t match the F-16. I love the Amrams on the outer Rails. You gotta have Harms and Center Tank to make it perfect :-).
Is the f16 able to take snakeyes?
That is a good point and we are looking into it.
i hope seen DCS of Su 30 mk
How many vids will come before early access release?
TBD
Conformal fuel tanks?
That would not be realistic for this F-16.
What about loft bombing? :)
You can already loft in CCRP mode, but if you mean DTOS mode, that will come after early access release.
Waggggs. Is there anyway we can get rid of the flat earth ingame???
What do you mean?! 🤔
Don't think so due to the computer limitation.
Altough technically flat, the projection is modified to act as a round earth to support sensor/line of sight horizons, horizon curviture at high altitude, radar and navigation limitations, etc.
@@MattWagner Ohhhh ok. Thanks for the clarification!
