    Excellent video! Draining the oil and re-using an open strainer has to be the worst design ever! No wonder so many people used the aftermarket spin-on filter kit. These engines ran forever in spite of this design with low capacity oil, hot engine and poorly designed oil filter. I understand the owner's manuals stated that Quaker State oil should not be used because it had paraffin (basically, candle wax) in it that would clog the strainer/filter.

    It looks like the small studs came off the engine case. A good idea would be to Loctite them in place and then just use the acorn nuts with the brass washers as they came from the factory.

    Hi! Is it necessary to remove the plate, screen & gaskets at every oil change if one have a center nut to get the oil out, and a separate oil filter? Its a t25 aircooled camper
