Yeah this cost like 0,2 dollar in electricity
@@maxiswhomaxis3852 actually the average high output led is around 1 watt, figuring he is running roughly 5000 of them, not to mention the computer and sound system, you are probably looking at about 3 dollars for every hour it is running.
Standard addressable leds (probably WS2812B) using 0.3 watt maximum (white = all 3 colors on). There are way more than 5k leds, maybe 30k to 50k leds.
On maximum brightness 50k leds need 15kw (in Germany 0.35$ per kwh = 4.5$ per hour). Most of the time, these LEDs are off or on single color so the power usage is reduced to probably 1$ to 1.5$ per hour.

The level of programming on display is mind-blowing. This is some of your best work.
most of is it is obviously mapped to a raster display master layout, that is composed of hundreds of devices each containing multiple elements and mostly rgb capable. I would truly love the know the API.
I'm a Vixen Lights user and it's not that hard to program a song. It just takes a lot of time. Like 40 hours for a 4 minute song.

Probs uses madrix as he can matrix the whole thing. It allows you to control each individual light so my guess the software madrix is involved
My one guess is whatever software it is, there is a 3D editor mode where you can animate volumes around and where it intersects lights, they turn on

Just because this pandemic is the worst us Americans have experienced and it was certainly not handled very well in many ways, it is certainly not the worst scenario that we are likely to face in the rest of our lifetimes.

You have utterly outdone yourself with this one. The singer fading out with the vocals is incredible. The whole thing is breathtaking. Having the lights is one thing, but setting them to music like that takes it into obscenely mind blowing. It's a great way to raise money for a good cause and show off what you can do. I am in awe.

I think a lot of us would love it if you broke down and explained one of your sequences. So many cool effects that we amateurs cant even imagine.

@@mattc420 it uses a program called xlights. Each element you see in that display is a model. You can drop effects on models. The software has a lot of complex effects to drop on models, and the software figures out which LEDs on your light string to turn on. Its easy to learn and pick up, but the complex part is making things flow together, and not looks like random unlinked effects
