I have a 2011 there's one problem with them if your vehicle does not start for no reason whatsoever take off the O2 sensor on the top and try to start it if you ever have that problem where it don't let's start at all it's saying catalytic converter that's rocks in it I'll have the pictures of what happened to mine coal docks rocks in it and it would not start if the timing belt or no that was fine
Crazy part my gf has a 2007 with 210,000 miles no engine problem lol. She change the oil in it every 3000 miles since she bought it. She change transmission fluid every 40000. A lot of people talk bad about these cars. The only problem that has started to happen here recently. The transmission is taking longer to shift. Put some lubegard in it now it shifts like a dream. I don't know how long that will last. Overall it's a decent car but it is weak.
@Jamie B i can agree with you theyre pretty good cars overall and I've never seen a really high mileage one, sadly i got rid of my Aveo back in February with 98k miles on it and it was still shifting normally and everything.
@@austencarlante7122 that's pretty cool. I see a few of those cars and my area sometimes. I'm curious to know how many miles they got on them. My girlfriend always keeps up with her maintenance. She changes her oil at 3000 miles. I'm curious to know if the car make it 300,000 miles. She likes the little car but she's planning on at the end of the year to get a Sonic. I offered her 800 bucks for her car. That's about all the cars worth in my opinion. Hell she paid like $13,000 for it in 2007 brand new. That's the only fault I got with the car as the weak horsepower.
@jamie B, they do lack hp, but its a little economy car from Chevrolet/GM Daewoo Korea. The sonic is basically the Aveo more updated with more creature comforts. I was thinking about a sonic, too, with the 1.4 turbo. They're pretty zippy.
I got a blue 08 aveo and I put an aftermarket stereo in it, new speakers in the back, lancer spoiler, blacked out all the chrome, installed LED lighting in the driver and passenger foot space and next I'm gonna do something with exhaust and muffler. Its a great cheap car to modify for fun
@dEmotion Official It really is a fun little car to modify, it’s sucks how there’s not much out there aftermarket for it and people mainly mod it’s successor the Chevy Sonic. It came from the factory with aftermarket looking taillights and on the higher trims a lip spoiler or small wing on the back. I was looking into some Eibach lowering springs for this Aveo but sad to see no coil overs unless I modify some to fit.
Hey man I have a 2008 grey Aveo and I wanted to see you post more videos of the Aveo and you modding it it looks like it could be a really nice car to mod keep up the good work
Yes you can change the wheels as long as the lug pattern is 4x100 but i wouldnt do nothing too crazy in size for the little Aveo. Stock was 14 inch like mine or the lt trim had the 15 inch alloys so I would say nothing 17 inches or more if you dont want to scrap the fenders

@Julian Seymour Thank you Julian, I hope to lower it soon with some Eibach lowering springs and some nicer wheels soon.
I have a 2010 Aveo that I’ve owned since new with only 24 miles but now has almost 170,000 miles on it
If you have any questions I’ll help the best that I can with what I’ve learned from my little Aveo
@HellsFire FreedomTube thank you so much!

For upgrading parts and stuff what would you recommend brand wise and what type of engine would you personally engine swap with?
I shouldn't, but I like these. They're mature looking *instead of the usual stupid blobs of the class.
Hello, are u still using the car? I will like to buy it
Suck car i have 2007 aveo
