I totally understand the side effects of pain meds. It stinks being forced into sedation to heal & stop the pain. I am so sorry🙏 HUGS . I'm just so happy to be able to sit and enjoy your smiling face again . I didn't notice any puffiness or anything. Just thought how incredibly strong & determined you are to keep showing up to make our days brighter 💓💓

Congrats Melissa! 🏆Enjoy! I started that patchwork bag with you, sewed the back to the front, then broke my wrist and had a plate put in. It feels like it takes forever to get back to normal, and even two years later, I can tell when I’ve overdone. Be kind to yourself, listen to your body, and don’t overdo. It’s not worth it. Regarding the other topic: Holy cow. That’s all I have to say. Love ya ❤❤❤
Glad to hear you are progressing with your arm. It can be frustrating at times. I broke my little toe four years ago and had to learn to sew with my left foot. Wasn't going to miss my sew along! But there were good days and bad with the pain in my right foot. Can completely emphasize with you about that and not being able to just stop and sit still because of being a mom, etc. Excited to learn more about your sew along in August!!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

It is just a rough section in the road that will soon be gotten over and you will be back to yourself. Don't get down on yourself, you are in the process of healing and when you feel 100% things will be better. Have a wonderful weekend, very excited to hear you are improving. Please don't do too much as you are healing.
You look fantastic...first priority is to take care of yourself...and your family...sewing will always be available and you can catch up once the pain is gone ....

I have stopped subscription boxes. As you said. I guess i have outgrown them. Way too much duplication. Love getting fabrics but not notions😊 continue to improve and heal completely!

Take it easy if you can. I have taken steroids before and they drive me crazy! They do work. Be patient. Debbie
