Use my method ... i have never had to buy a 3D component ... get your hands on a loyalty card like a Subway card or similar, cut it to shape and finally stick it to the base of the stem, the plastic is such that it molds to the shapes inside the hinge. Works perfectly.
There is A locking mechanism on there that has a limit screw which is why the stem wobbles. All you have to do is on wind that bolt a couple turns and then tighten the grub screw and the problem is solved. The stem is designed that way.
As these things age it's not the hinge that is causing the problem, it's the way the stem itself is attached to the hinge. My stem almost pulled clean off the hinge.
Most scooter models have this problem. If you make it strong there, it would simply wear out your aluminium and build a play again. In my Inmotion L6 there is a tiny rubber between the aluminium parts, I replace it twice a year or so, but always feels stable again (I use rubber from bicycle inner tube). It doesn't really flex as you would expect rubber to do.
Started creaking in barely 2 months just put plastic in it and make sure it’s in the middle and worked perfectly but im gonna get all the size keys so I can tighten it cause it’s loose incase that method doesn’t work anymore
I tried everything: rubber of various thicknesses, cork, adhesives, hot glue, adjustments of all kinds, trimmed gasket of the engine of the car, but after some rough bumps on the road, it starts again to take play and noise, I'm thinking of putting the stiff hub like those for bird, I never close it, I don't need it, does anyone know if it exists for sale? I didn't find it.
Does anybody know how to stop the vibration shaking when I give it gas on my bird scooter It happened when I break it to have speed and now it has a loss of power especially when I turn the light on there’s anybody know how to fix that
@@brogonbtw I thought his stem was loose on the locking block. Usually when that happens you reapply epoxy, re-fit the stem then drill through and bolt it as an extra measure. Having watched the video again just now, this stem is going side to side because of the hinge bolt. It'll eventually fatigue and snap clean off, detaching the stem from the base. The piece of card is definitely a bodge either way.
@@Nacho581 i found a clip in russian on youtube about this. Also the original latch is weak and has to be replaced. Look for elastic pin on xiaomi m365 on youtube.
@@fernandosanfranciscoca9278 In 260 km I only had to add tow tapes of 0.16 mm to keep the issue sorted. Greasing the area also helps cause hard moving metal wears aluminium parts so you get play then failure. So far this is my theory...
Seen all this videos before I got mine. Thight when I got it but after a while I got the small gap. Saw this video ua-cam.com/video/MyA1oPJ23jo/v-deo.html, mine just needed to tighten the front screw, now good again.

Good idea :) i will try, thank you :)
Thank you this really worked.. I had to search your video again just to say thank u for your tips on fixing this 👍

Just adjust the screw, if you unscrew it a little you could put the 3d part. Anyway, I just cut a bottle of water and use that plastic. Works perfect.
really ?
why would you show bad ways to see that the handlebar is moving and evetually showing it clearly ?!?!
Yoav Darshani 🤬🤬🤬
incase someone buys the alternative online
Even better is to add silicon or normal glue and close it 2mm before it clicks. Let it dry and there you have
What is background music?

Not bethed to put hot glue and close it and let the glue dry???
I can't close it when I did all of this
i bought one of these butterflys, now i cant close my mechanism :-(
Adjust the screw in front. Left or right. Try it.
I just put a whole piece of tissue in there and close it.. and rip of the end so you cannot see it in the outside of the scooter

same here :-(
Thx u good guy :)
İt's working thank you
Genius. The paper will wear out after cuple of kilometers...
Hi :) after 200km I still have it
Just try put normal sticky tape on top of the masking tape?
Does anybody know how to stop the vibration shaking when I give it gas on my bird scooter It happened when I break it to have speed and now it has a loss of power especially when I turn the light on there’s anybody know how to fix that
Maybe Use gorrila repair tape, stick directly to scooter and scapple out the excess.
Mine is moving like 5 cm in front and back
There is screw inside you can fix it so easy
Bodge job - just do it properly, remove the lock block from the stem, use epoxy and add an extra bolt through the whole assembly.
Sounds sketch

Use 3m sticky pads
you can buy the part on ebay for $5 you get 3 molds ....
Instead of wasting your time with "temporary fixes" try to adjust the screw locking mechanism!!
haha I went through all that. its a hastle. and then the problem just reappears
Downvotes were from sellers of 3d printed materials.
The problem is the pin that holds the latch. Adding spacers is fixing the symptoms not the cause. Replace the pin with an elastic pin.
Interesting, could you elaborate a bit?, I want to know the proper way to fix this when it eventually happens to mine

I have the same problem tried all kinds of rubber, plastic, but didn't solve the shaking.
I'll try to get that pins.
Thanks
