They are actually trying to make the bleach game underperform by trying to pit it against Dragonball because they are mad at the recent resurgence of bleach popularity. It's disgusting. Don't know why it's surprising, these are LITERAL MIDDLE AGE adults acting like children, thinking Goku solos fiction or every character, and anyone putting him lower than outer is downplaying him. They really have nothing going for them. All dbs is, is just DBZ but stronger villains(literally every single is exactly like the ones in Z), super is just utter garbage and the definition of a cash grab. They are barely looking forward to Dragonball daima because they say it's "Dragonball GT 2.0". Just because characters are kids.

I think having the game take place up til the Arrancar arc is good, thats a huge selection of characters to choose from and build a roster out of.
plus as the producer said, its been awhile since the series got a console game and this serves as a good way to reintroduce fans and newcomers to the series.
Arrancer arc was with the end of aizen
With the game going up to the defeat of Aizen I'm hoping we get a roster pretty much the same as the classic Heat Of The Soul 7 (excluding the giant characters obviously 😅)

Since its going that far, DON'T go the storm route (4568867 naruto and sasuke slots). Just use 1 to 3 slots for ichigo and the version he has. Other then that this game has great potential!!

Heat Of The Soul had movie characters so maybe for a DLC pack?

The Arrancar Arc ended with Orihime getting captured by Ulquiorra and taking her to Hueco Mundo and Ichigo and the gang going to save her. Aizen's defeat was in the Fake Karakura Town Arc.
By arrancar arc they mean everything… it’d be stupid if they ended it there
The separations in bleach’s arcs is done by the fans. All arcs are one. Because the arrancar arc is so long people like to break it into mini arcs within the arc to specify about what they are talking about at what time in the story.
Wouldn’t make sense for it not to end at Aizen’s defeat
The trailer is really clear where the game's story will end (Mugetsu battle) because we see one of the Urahara's kido against Aizen in Fake Karakura.
The official list of arcs has it go til Aizen's defeat.

@@shinkenrock bandai has a season pass planned most of the time prior to game release. Several media they can draw dlc from before tybw such as movies, anime only, fullbring arc, burn the witch.

Having Burn The Witch characters would be amazing ^__^ I'm pretty sure they got added to the mobile game Brave Souls so I don't see why they couldn't be here as a DLC

Why they put it on old gens tho? It could’ve been up there with sparking zero if it was a new gen exclusive running on unreal engine 5. Even if it’s good just know it could’ve been better. Bleach deserved to be a next gen exclusive on unreal engine 5.
@Zamasu-op7zz thats not how game development works. As in example cod is on last gen but it looks gorgeous from what i saw. Also developers have a great understanding of ps4 and it wont bottleneck them. I expect 60fps on every system except ps4.

And it’s obvious bleach is running on unreal engine 4 because it’s coming for old gen consoles. so it’s gonna look and play worse then something that’s only on new gens and running on unreal engine 5 like sparking zero. Not saying it’s gonna look and play bad. I’m just saying it’s gonna have a lot of bugs lag and fps drops. So sparking zero has no real competition until another anime games comes out that’s also a next gen console exclusive and running on unreal engine 5.

BLEACH Soul Resureccion it's for PS3 not perfect by any means but I love it regardless 😅 it's a Musou game (like Dynasty Warriors)
Too bad they are not more arcs... I hate the second half of the arrancar arc... but playing it will be fun...
bleach composes of substitute soul reaper arc, soul society arc, arrancar arc (which is composed of several parts), fullbring arc, and tybw arc ( which is composed of several parts). bleach has 5 major arcs. we getting 3 of 5 which is majority of the bleach series in terms of story.

It was also developed by byking which from my understanding is a small studio of around 5-10 Devs who were already pre occupied with pumping out content for their live service game my hero ultra rumble on top of probably having a poor budget and time restraint. Basically bandai pulled a mappa.

The reason why the PS4 version is a problem is the fact that if you look at other anime games when you play online ranked PS5 users are forced to play in 30 FPS because the PS4 can't handle 60 FPS in modern games anymore. If there's no way to turn off cross gen ranked queues then this game is dead on arrival. They keep talking about graphics but the game is on PS4 so what are we talking about? PS4 games shouldn't exist in 2025. It's already due to leave that console alone. That generation is already over and PS5 Pro is around the corner and we are still making games for PS4.

That’s due to poor optimization. If there are currently games on the PS4 which are MUCH MORE demanding graphics/scale wise, they can definitely optimize an arena anime fighting game very well for PS4.

The game had the potential to look even better but they decided to release it on ps4 as well. So I'm disappointed but the move makes sense.
I’m happy they did that, coz like I know it’s selfish but not everyone(like myself) can currently afford a ps5 and I have to save up until when the game is released to get it too

Im not gonna lie this sounds like its either gonna be mid or just bad they shouldnt and i mean REALLY shouldnt have done an arena fighter for bleach i just wholeheartedly think they shouldve went the kakarot route for this bc we havent seen that one and two bleach battles never seemed like something i had a power fantasy about that i would want to express through an arena fighter.

@DreBagsGaming just stating what the producer had said. Plus i recall sparking zero initial reveal wasnt anything graphically amazing. Plus the early trailers had issues. But hey it looks old gen enough though it looks like a good game.
It looks pretty good from the small graphics segments we got. Like, Ichigo vs Byuakuya it looked really, really good even though it was only a few moments.
This game will be only 1v1 ? No even a 2v2 like the kimetsu game or a 3v3 like Strom 🥲

Thats fine, no need to shoehorn 2v2 or 3v3 in for the hell of it. Final Fantasy Dissida series was better when it was 1v1 on PSP, then Dissida Final Fantasy NT came out on PS4 with 3v3 and it wasn't as good.
1v1 as in 1 person on the field. we dont know if it will be team based like any other anime game.
