It's almost unbelievable that this is a game in development. If I told my teenage self who was obsessed with dragons, he would've ran around the room for hours in hype for it.

I love the detail of the rider constantly changing and adjusting his position as the dragon climbs or turns or dives. So realistic and makes it feel so dynamic
Tbh, the game will probably have low requirements. Because of the distance the onlything it renders is the dragon, particles fire effects, sky, clouds... Rest can be lower res because of blur and the distance.

In one of these videos there seems to be a switching mechanic. Where you switch control to player and to the dragon. That might just be on the reddit though.
Ever since i was a kid i wanted a game about flying dragons. The closer we got was centuries: age of ashes but it has too many microtransactions and the dragon felt more like plane. Over here the flying feels so natural and the graphics are amazing. Keep up the great work my friend.
that would be a mistake...Those series are just tight dramas. A game that features flying dragon would need more than that to succeed. A show and game are two different things and hotd would only appeal to the fans of that franchise.
VR dragon riding would be insane. There will come a day when games can be made that allow VR like that, in a massive open world with immersive AI that is capable of never-ending in-game conflict and fun, like a true, living world.
I'm super impressed with the flight animations. I've previously looked at the way dragons fly in HoTD / GoT and literally thought "It's kinda sad we won't be able to fly that realistically and dynamically in games" and.. now I see this. Very curious how this works in combination with the controls and how it feels to play. Lighting looks great too and the music fits well. Overall this looks awesome.

It's just perfection in its making. When finished, together with a good story, it will blow every dragon game out of the water. You're going to be THE reference by which every dragon game MUST be based of off, take your time and the evident love you have for this game to honed it into what it deserves to be. I salute thee noble dragon enthusiast! Other creature I'd love to see in the game like this, in the less elite cavalry units, is griffins, just a suggestion of course. They would shoot feathers like arrows.
That would be so cool. Also maybe having a taming aspect to the game. Maybe being able to find different kinds of dragons and attempting to tame them, but each one having a unique way to do it based on the kind of dragon it is 😮
This looks absolutely incredible, how have I just found this now. Most hollywood movie productions don't get their dragon animations to look as natural as this, to achieve that in a playable format is mind blowing. This is true wish fullfillment for me and just watching it has me more excited than any game has had me for years. I can not wait to get my hands on this and I know many people who would feel the same, I'll spread the word. Keep up the good work, I for one will follow this journey closely from now on.
Honestly can't tell if this a pre-rendered video or actual gameplay. The lighting, the movement of the beast, and even the little details like the wind interacting with the wing. Bloody hell.

Absolutely incredible animations. This is basically house of the dragon made into a video game. Mind blowing that you alone created this. I'm a developer for microsoft flight sim 2020/2024 and I'd love to see dragons in take to the skies in the sim someday! (but only if it was done like this!)
I've waited almost 20 years for a game like this ever since HTTYD. Century Age of Ashes comes close but I'm not that into pvp games. Wishing you guys all the luck, this project looks very promising.
This is the most dynamic flying animation for a game (and honestly quite a lot of other media) I’ve ever seen. And the very simple mechanics shown already look amazing. I don’t even care when this comes out, time is what’s needed to make a project that’s this full of love and effort. Very excited
I've genuinely never been as excited for a game as I am for this one - it's everything I've been waiting for with regards to realistic graphics, realistic flight, and a respect for how INCREDIBLE it must feel to either be that dragon or be the one riding it. I'm so so so excited to get to play this for myself one day, hopefully sooner rather than later, even as a tester - just getting to fly around for hours and hours is a dream come true!

nah this is too great, i love everything about this. if there is a chance that you can add other dragons or wyverns from different franchises that’s a wrap, it’ll already be such a great game
The dragon will be fully customizable, the base model is being worked on right now. You'll be able to make something similar to dragons from franchises, but I can't straight up copy them because of copyright law.

i am genuinely so excited for this game, i am one of many who have dreamed of a game where you can ride dragons like this!! fingers crossed we're able to choose/personalize our own dragons and have a single-player option!

By far the best dragon game UA-cam has randomly recommended. I’m hoping for your success. I just hope there will be a variety of dragons and/or customizations.
Take note other dragon games. That's how immersive flying looks like. Also good job on the fire. Looks great. I wish it's developers much luck and us that it will ever reach a playable status.
I would love to see this fully fleshed out into a medieval world with side quests and main quests, character and dragon customization and raising/training. Bustling towns and world events and wars.

You gotta love the sight of biologically plausible dragons. Their wings have to be MASSIVE to be able to hold them up and fly. Something Skyrim just didn't have.

I know that the dragons are customizable, but what about the rider? Can we customize our rider ourselves? And is our rider able to be a girl as well? Its just, A lot of games make it so that you can only play as a guy, or it depends on the dragon you choose (century age of ashes is an example)!

God I really cannot stress how exciting it is seeing this sort of hyper realistic and dynamic animation in a flight game. I've wanted this game since way back when Lair came out for the PS3 in its early days and seeing that games potential be realised is a truly surreal feeling.

How is it that in the year of 2024 we are yet to get a game with such gorgeous and dynamic flying? Like it's such an obviously fun idea that no game company seems interested in. HTTYD was what originally got me obsessed with this simple concept, to fly on a dragons back and have complete control of it's movements, to dive like a bird of prey, to soar and glide, to spiral and somersault. Even now much older I still long for this. And this game seems to be speaking to my child self, and it's delightful. ❤

I grew up playing the hell out of Drakengard, mainly for flying the dragon around and this just looks like an insane improvement over that. Tbh, the game will probably have low requirements. Because of the distance the onlything it renders is the dragon, particles fire effects, sky, clouds... Rest can be lower res because of blur and the distance.

Ever since i was a kid i wanted a game about flying dragons. The closer we got was centuries: age of ashes but it has too many microtransactions and the dragon felt more like plane. Over here the flying feels so natural and the graphics are amazing. Keep up the great work my friend.

I'm super impressed with the flight animations. I've previously looked at the way dragons fly in HoTD / GoT and literally thought "It's kinda sad we won't be able to fly that realistically and dynamically in games" and.. now I see this. Very curious how this works in combination with the controls and how it feels to play. Lighting looks great too and the music fits well. Overall this looks awesome.

You're going to be THE reference by which every dragon game MUST be based of off, take your time and the evident love you have for this game to honed it into what it deserves to be. Other creature I'd love to see in the game like this, in the less elite cavalry units, is griffins, just a suggestion of course. They would shoot feathers like arrows.
That would be so cool. Also maybe having a taming aspect to the game. Maybe being able to find different kinds of dragons and attempting to tame them, but each one having a unique way to do it based on the kind of dragon it is 😮
This looks absolutely incredible, how have I just found this now. Most hollywood movie productions don't get their dragon animations to look as natural as this, to achieve that in a playable format is mind blowing. This is true wish fullfillment for me and just watching it has me more excited than any game has had me for years. I can not wait to get my hands on this and I know many people who would feel the same, I'll spread the word. Keep up the good work, I for one will follow this journey closely from now on.
The most marvelous piece of dragon flight I've ever seen, I haven't felt this way since the old school PS1 days of Spyro.
Honestly can't tell if this a pre-rendered video or actual gameplay. The lighting, the movement of the beast, and even the little details like the wind interacting with the wing.

I'm a developer for microsoft flight sim 2020/2024 and I'd love to see dragons in take to the skies in the sim someday! (but only if it was done like this!)

This is the most dynamic flying animation for a game (and honestly quite a lot of other media) I’ve ever seen. And the very simple mechanics shown already look amazing. I don’t even care when this comes out, time is what’s needed to make a project that’s this full of love and effort. Very excited
I've genuinely never been as excited for a game as I am for this one - it's everything I've been waiting for with regards to realistic graphics, realistic flight, and a respect for how INCREDIBLE it must feel to either be that dragon or be the one riding it. I'm so so so excited to get to play this for myself one day, hopefully sooner rather than later, even as a tester - just getting to fly around for hours and hours is a dream come true!

The dragon and the sky are beautiful. The way the dragon flies, glides, and flaps wings makes sense when diving, rising, flying strait.

I know that the dragons are customizable, but what about the rider? Can we customize our rider ourselves? And is our rider able to be a girl as well? Its just, A lot of games make it so that you can only play as a guy, or it depends on the dragon you choose (century age of ashes is an example)!

Damn we've seen dragon rider flying in movies and games but never thought of a game to actually be a dragon rider! It makes perfect sense!

God I really cannot stress how exciting it is seeing this sort of hyper realistic and dynamic animation in a flight game. I've wanted this game since way back when Lair came out for the PS3 in its early days and seeing that games potential be realised is a truly surreal feeling.

How is it that in the year of 2024 we are yet to get a game with such gorgeous and dynamic flying? Like it's such an obviously fun idea that no game company seems interested in.
HTTYD was what originally got me obsessed with this simple concept, to fly on a dragons back and have complete control of it's movements, to dive like a bird of prey, to soar and glide, to spiral and somersault. Even now much older I still long for this.
And this game seems to be speaking to my child self, and it's delightful. ❤

Omg omg omg omg!!!!! I hope eventually this game will make it to consoles! I would spend a fortune!! Imagine this level of detail and gameplay. Be able to own, build and manage a kingdom. Conquer other ones using your dragons and armies! Multiplayer! I would cry!
My god i love this SO MUCH the way you fly makes you feel SO POWERFUL and the MUSIC GOES SO HARD WITH IT it so ah like how Jacksepticeye gets with environment designing in games also it reminds me of The Owls Of Ga'Hoole game the flying mechanics are so reminiscent of that and Httyd 2 free roam game as well really hoping this'll be a console game as well 🤞

Omg I haven't felt chills like this in a long time. This is one of the best things I ever seen. I grew up playing the hell out of Drakengard, mainly for flying the dragon around and this just looks like an insane improvement over that. Too bad I'll never get to play this since I'm a console peasant on xbox lol
