How do you keep rats and other animals from eating the corn when it's just piled up outside like that? I know its covered but still the rats can get to it.
C O L E !! Have you thought of giving your land a Sabbath year of rest?? Every seven years! No better time than the present! Think about it and move slow!
You must live or used to live in the Cheyenne River Valley in North Dakota those big red squirrels would do to a corn patch what raccoons do in South Dakota and western North Dakota. Squirrels are a lot easier to pop in the head with a 22 when they're clinging to the side of a tree then raccoons are. With body intact a roasted squirrel taste kind of like greasy fried pheasant.
I’ve enjoyed every video for the last 2 years. Your relationship with each other is what makes it fun to watch. ❤
Nothing like some tik-toks and corn stalks!
Your dad rocks on the songs of the day . my favorite song of a lifetime is by Boston,,,,,,For play long time
Lot of work goes with that corn. Makes me think of all the work that Joseph did storing up that seven years of corn during the seven good years.
All of the cows were bunched into the corner waiting. 😂
Must have smelled really good!
You guys need to transfer from whole tires to tire slices. It makes covering and uncovering the pits easier
There must be a cool tool for slicing tires!

What moisture % do you normally cut at? We like anywhere from 13-17%.
Wet corn we like 25-30 percent
