I'm still crazy for capes and cape sleeves, and the weight of the beaded lace makes this one hand and more so beautifully. Make sure you subscribe to see how I create the crown and accessories to go with this dress, and to see the final look being worn.
I am so grateful for your channel. I design ballroom dance gowns and costumes. I have been advocating for years that my clients stop following the trends. It's so boring seeing the exact same style out there. Your advice and instructions are golden. Thank you so much for sharing.
Wow ooo.absolutly stunning. I thank the Almighty God for making me find ur channel. U are the best. Ur hands are so blessed. Pls want to learn dis corset pattern .any online training ? Thanks again and again for sharing
This is the kind of thing I would feel insanely flattered by just wearing, as if gliding down any sort of walkway in the pouffy tulle and sparkling silver-gray was a compliment in and of itself.
Hello and thank you very much for sharing your time and knowledge with us, I really love your videos they’re very helpful. I would like to ask you if you have the more detailed video of how to cut or put them together, I am in the middle of making a bridal gown and the corset is the harder part for me., the cape is beautiful. Blessings
Can you please kindly give us the resource ( book 📕 or cd 💿) that you learned making gowns?🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I have googled a lot and I could only find basic sewing books . I’m sewing simple dresses but I like to learn how to make a gown from Start to finish 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I’ve been binge watching your videos all week! I do have a question. When you use all those layers, do you ever have a problem with your corset being too thick?
Hello! I love your channel! I'm so happy that you've found mine! Corsets can get fairly thick, especially if the top (fashion) fabric is thick (denim and leather are really tricky!). I don't worry too much about thickness when it's worn as a separate corset like this one is, but I'm trying to find ways to make them thinner when they are built into a dress to stop them showing through. I'm trying something new in my vlogmas series with the candy cane inspired dress that I'm working on at the minute if you haven't seen that yet. I'm pretty pleased with the result so far, but need to try it on a gown with a more cinched waist too. I'll keep experimenting and sharing! Thanks for watching 🙂
Yes! I have been watching your blog mad videos your gown is going to be gorgeous! I am going to try the technique you used in your sequins gown with the detachable train for my next gown. Wish me luck!
Hello, I was just meaning to ask do u have any websites where I could purchase a plain corset for a cheap price. I want to make a dress for my sister so I need a tiny size. I find it complicated to make the corset so I though if I bought a plain one and decorated it, it would have a better result. Thank you.
I've not seen any commercial patterns similar to this, so I've made a video showing you how to modify a bodice pattern into a corset pattern that would work for this - ua-cam.com/video/Hmf5LNzRp98/v-deo.html Then this video shows you how to make and fit a toile from the pattern - ua-cam.com/video/b4p20EjnHvE/v-deo.html

Thank you. I sewed my cape on but you could easily do as a removable piece and create 2 looks in one 🙂
@@RockstarsandRoyalty I love the idea with sew on. In that way you have no worries 😊

You'll do great. I look forward to seeing what you create 🙂
Nice one, I have been looking forward to seeing tutorials of this Basque corset gown. Please ma, is the corset attached to the skirt or worn on it
The corset is completely separate and worn over the skirt.
♥️

Here's a great list of corset makers around the world - lucycorsetry.com/research-corset-brands/corsetiere-map/
Im struggling to find a pattern for the bodice, and not skilled enough for my own, are there any you would recommend?

What fabric did you use for the corset?
I used a fairly thick polyester satin. Unfortunately it's been discontinued by my supplier so I can't link to where I bought it.
Nice madam thank's
You're welcome. Thanks for watching
