Not only was this 45 minute jam fantastic in its build-up, it was also a detailed tutorial on how to push the buttons and twist the knobs for maximum mileage out of this small Volca. Those knobs must have travelled many kilometers under your hands after all those years, but it is all worth it for the soundscapes you create. In "Interstellar" you go fully crazy and I love it!
I just discovered your music and going through listening to your old videos while working and I'm really enjoying them. It's amazing how much you do with one tiny synth. I'm looking on ebay for a volca bass now!
Just bought this machine and i’ve been binging thesw kind of videos all night. It arrives tomorrow and i hope i will get at good at making music with the volca as you are.
This is an incredible beautiful trip, and one of the best mastercalsses about sound design and playing live synths you can meet all around the interent community! Enjoy! 🥰😍
@@Volcaniced i listened with great pleasure some of your jams. They are great ! I enjoy a lot Kraftwerk, but, too, Berlin techno that are doing résidents of Berghain club, and, of course, ebm and darkwave music. I like a lot the minimalist way you are playing techno using Korg Volca Bass! 😃
Just wanted to share with you that your video from 2019 got me to finally buy a volca bass. I've been struggling to buy HW before that for a long time. That was almost exactly one year ago. The volca has opened an exciting rabbit hole for me. So, thank you and keep on jamming 🙂
I have one of these and love it! I also have a Behringer TD-3 which has some similarities. I much prefer the sequencer on the Volca and it gets a wider range of sounds too, IMO. The Behringer has a superior interface though, both MIDI n and out, 1/4 audio jack, very well designed body. For me the Volca is something I'd play as a lead, as opposed to the TD-3 which is a back up. I love the ease of switching between sequences on the TD-3. But the slide on the ribbon keys is a great thing all by itself. I could see playing this little Korg as my only instrument, much like my guitar.
Wooooo awesome !!! And what super ideas you have always !!!!!! Thank also to show us so we can learn ! You are really a master. All parts are so awesome!
A real treat! My favorite section would be 1492. For me, a balance of pleasant tones, notes and space. Thanks for the music and inspiring me to try to make more music with fewer instruments.
Impresive ! My favorite part is interstellar ; but the others are also really good. Size doesnt matter for the volca bass ; it is a monster synth in disguise !
I wanted this since the keys I always thought it has to go with the keys but I really want the east beast the FM and the XD was just thinking about getting the XD but I figured if I get the XD for volcas I'll just need the drums really?
I really want to know how it sounds Like the whole machine I can't seem to find like a pre sets thing and it full potential? Also because I still might buy one but for that reason what I've heard sounds nice but doesn't have much range in sounds and efx like the Key's! The keys is a monster little bad ass plastic analog thing e! Haha I think ahead of what I want to order next even though I just got the XD and the east beast and I haven't figured out the models cycle yet. But for volcas I want next either the drum FM or bass . Probably the FM2.
@@Volcaniced yeah most definitely that's why I shouldn't even think about another one but I kinda want one more and then I'll be good for awhile .I'm not going to buy another for awhile though I'm just thinking about it mainly the East Beast is a great machine too!
Which is better/has more features? Volca Bass or NuBass? I bought the NuBass, which I'm delighted with, but looking for an excuse to buy THIS beauty - it looks so darn sexy! (Don't they all?!).
I have a stupid question: as you are playing using "note" and not "step" mode, if in, sync out, then, you enter in sync in into Korg Volca Drum, will it synchronize it?
Hmmm.. don't know if this was a "teaching" ... It's more intuitive. I just sit down and turned some knobs.. that's all. At the moment when it sounds nice I add other sounds.. that's all I am doing ... Everything is improvised.
To be honest: 20:00 Interstellar .... the best 8 Minutes I had for a long long time.
I want every single thing with the word volca on it
brother i told you already that i love your stuff so much. so keep loving🫶🎸⭐️

Thank You Mate
Volca bass master
No No, I am just a guy....
The close camera is fantastic, being able to see how you get the performance out of it. I have learnt so much from this. Thanks
Happy that I can help you
This mastery is like rocket science it is beyond me!!! Amazing work.
Best volca imo. Sample is awesome too.
FM is also great

Really great !!! As always its not the device, its the person in front of it ;)
thanks christian
I love that transition between Interstellar and Days of Thunder
Hehe, nice to hear that. My fav is still Interstellar. Cannot remember how I did that ;)
Volca Bass 45-minute Jam v3 is the best yet! Can't wait for v4!
Thats nice. So you really think it's better than the original 300k volca bass only? Hmmmm so let me think about v4
Happy Fingers!

Oh your welcome my friend. I am very happy that I could help you with this. As I can see you have a nice setup meanwhile. Congratz
I'm about 10 minutes in & this is pretty dang fantastic!! bravo, volcamaestro!!
Awesome, that‘s what music is about, the musicians create their audience. Your soundscapes are really, really beautiful.
thank you so much .... at least its "interstellar" I really heared a lot in the last days ... dont know .. its triggering me
awesome!!!!!!!
Un régal pour les oreilles yessss

Congratulations Mr. Niced! An epic jam once again. The Volca Bass is such a beautiful instrument, in the hands of the Master!
Thanks Mister Seb.
Just wow... thanks for sharing your great session. Also a great selection of movies :) Greetings from Germany
fantastic! wish i could make mine sound like that
A real treat! My favorite section would be 1492. For me, a balance of pleasant tones, notes and space.
Thanks for the music and inspiring me to try to make more music with fewer instruments.
...and you should do it again and again! Always love cruising to these. You inspired me to do a couple myself.
Excellent! Great music from a very minimal set-up :-)
Oh wow, Tony..... I really appriciate you visit on my channel. Master of all Volca's.
Days of thunder turned into a very epic tune. Well done @Volcaniced! Keep the vibes high ;)
wow, thank you for your Feedback Alvaro
👍😊
Once again…. Pure magic!

Interstellar ... I heared it about 10 times the last day...
Genius!!
...noooo ... I am just a guy ...
Clever bastard, gunna have to go and practice on mine now. Great stuff👍

well played ;)
thank you very much Peter
Jesus Christ, you are so on fire your hands glitched at 25:30
Omg your right.

Greatissimo! Du kanns es aber auch nicht lassen.

Grande amigo!!!

The GAS thing is definitely real uff🤕🦝
No presets at the Volca Bass. But my advice is... Learn the instrument instead of buying new stuff.
@@Volcaniced yeah most definitely that's why I shouldn't even think about another one but I kinda want one more and then I'll be good for awhile .I'm not going to buy another for awhile though I'm just thinking about it mainly the East Beast is a great machine too!
So yeah for another volca I have key's, sample, beats . I want one more just not sure yet? FM,bass, mod or drums haha
Which is better/has more features? Volca Bass or NuBass? I bought the NuBass, which I'm delighted with, but looking for an excuse to buy THIS beauty - it looks so darn sexy! (Don't they all?!).
Silly question I know! - the NuBass is mostly acid bass, ok, so there's my excuse!
@@TheHexCube absolute both. No question.
@@Volcaniced Thought so! Thanks man.
@@TheHexCube ... My favorite is the bass cause of his 3 oscilators.
@@Volcaniced Understood. I'm getting the feeling that each Volca has it's place, and there are a few essential models to have, others are a bonus!
Hi! Is this device similar to the behringer td3?? Thanks
No not at all
I have a stupid question: as you are playing using "note" and not "step" mode, if in, sync out, then, you enter in sync in into Korg Volca Drum, will it synchronize it?
Sure it will.
Really nice, what reverb unit are you using?
Thanks for your question. It's the specular reverb v3
Great tunes! May I ask what kind of reverb do you use
Hey idudas80. Thanks for listening. In most of my jams I use the specular Reverb v3. Normally I mention this in the discription.
I don’t understand how you were able to get single notes to loop and be replaced by the new one you pressed in 1492
thanks for our question Wilshire. The Magic is the "REC" Button. So I change the sequence on the fly as I want it. All improvised.
your skills are unmatched! beautiful stuff. Did you just teach yourself playing on all the volcas?
Hmmm.. don't know if this was a "teaching" ... It's more intuitive. I just sit down and turned some knobs.. that's all. At the moment when it sounds nice I add other sounds.. that's all I am doing ... Everything is improvised.
