Arp + Lead + Beat (Power Setup with Volca Bass/FM + PO 33)

  • I have the Volca Drum and the Volca Sample, oh yes and the kick. And actually I also have Sample 2, but beatmaking is not as much fun with any of these devices as with the PO 33. The more I use it, the more I appreciate it. In my opinion, this is an important tool for every musician who wants to jam quickly in between.
    About today's jam:
    Setup:
    Volca Bass
    Volca FM
    PO 33 K.O.
    Specular Reverb v3 as FX
Originally I just wanted to try out a bit with the FM, maybe for a future jam, maybe another video like this:
    • 1 Volca (FM) / 1 Prese...
1 hour of Volca FM with just one preset.
But somehow I got stuck with the OBX string and then I had this wonderful arpeggio and then one thing led to another. PO 33, beat tinkered and then the Volca bass for a little accompaniment. Yes it can go like that.
I hope you like the jam and I can give you ideas. It is really the most important thing to me that you get suggestions from my videos and make music yourself.
With this in mind, I wish you a nice weekend and lots of fun jamming. #####################################################

Most of the Time I am using the Specular Reverb v3 for my jams.
Sometimes the NTS-1 with the Cathedral Preset or just the iPad.

@@teatime2595 Yes, to make a sound in FM is more complex, ideal if you like to fiddle around. But musically the bass offers 3 sequencer tracks in parallel and just sounds more awesome! 😎

Great jam, man! I've been listening to it nonstop since it was released! Wanted to ask how do you manage to record your jams (I see no MIDI cables on the volcas). Also, which volca do you like the most and recomend? FM or keys.
Thanks a lot and congrats for the amazing music you are doing!

    • @Volcaniced
      @Volcaniced  3 роки тому +2

Hey Daniel. Thank you so much for your feedback 😊 ... Recording videos is really easy nowerdays. Use your smartphone and add a usb audio interface like the Roland Go mixer or any other cheaper one. So you can record with your brilliant camera of your smartphone ( I use an xiaomi redmi 9 pro for around 160 Eur and it records 4k with 60 FPS) and an Roland Go Mixer pro ... No rendering no afterworx nessecary .... My fav volca is the bass... And then ...it depends on what I wanna to do . The FM I'd unbeatable in possibilities cause you can load all the DX7 patches on this thing... Millions of patches... And the keys.. hmm I like it's sound if it fits the setup.
