The Chimera should have been in your list if you were making an Endor fleet. Thrawn wasn't there, but in the first few pages of Heir to the Empire, Paelleon reminisces about his own role at that battle and how he assumed command when the former captain was killed. No big, though.
I think I appreciate the sped up camera rather than the fade to black and round recaps. If we miss something we can always just rewind. This was one of the more enjoyable battle reps, which is meant as a compliment since I enjoy all of them anyway.
Thanks for the shoutout at 24:48 😉 I’m obsessed with token shenanigans, so I’m a fan of the Executer title, but I understand that it just doesn’t fit with your style.
It’s extremely difficult for a rebel player to win in these scenarios (especially on a map this size) because they will spend most of their time exposed to the front arcs of ships that are designed to decimate things that are in their front arcs. Above a certain point value, the Empire can field a substantial number of ships that have a lot of hull and can cover the flanks of other ships with the front arcs, preventing the more nimble rebel ships from exploiting their advantage. Their ships cannot repel firepower of that magnitude.
I would love to find a club in Austin so I could play. I’ve had the game for a few years but I’ve only been able to play my sister so I’m still a beginner lol
Wow! That looks similar to the SSD battle we did a while back...there comes a point where the damage just starts racking up on it, but luckily it was only about 15 points, so I just edged out my opponent.
I've played a 2000 point battle before. Took hours to play. This was before the SSD though. Crabbak, you should play this battle again after the Starhawk and the new imperial ship are released.
Love the game. Hadn’t played in a couple of years, now that I will be able to get the separatists it reminded me how fun this game is. Got in a couple of games with my older son...lost both. He like the Empire. To me that many ships on the board becomes a dice rolling fest...not that much fun. There doesn’t seem to be much room to maneuver.
Nice game, this is the way the Battle of Endor should have gone with an Imperial Victory. Though I wish the Executor had a Lusankya title, that would have been great lol
Cool looking game. I agree with the "use bigger board" but I think we are many that lack table space for 3x9. What was the name of the ones that did the alt. color scheem on the ISD? And can we get a look at the Rebel fleet setup?
I am confused , does the ssd move like any other ship or it requires a nav? Better yet:must it move normally as all ships (but needs a nav to turn) or does it need a nav JUST to move at all?
Is there rules for 1200pt games where each player places on the ends of the board? Also I think a 1200-1400 mega battle deserves at least one more battle mat. Cheers and good game.
While I personally enjoyed your commentary, if I’m honest I didn’t like the speeding up of the game play, but I like seeing how it all plays out in really time. So my final thoughts would be to upload two videos, the first would be just the raw steam of gameplay, and the second would be exactly like this one 😇. At any rate I appreciate your ability and time.
Everyone I see in the comments loves squadrons and would even love seeing more. Everyone I play with loves squadrons. Empire squadrons can be incredibly deadly to both ship and squadron... The quasar is not a weapons platform, but a squadron support platform. It would REALLY impress you with tie fighters and rhymer bubbled around it. I don’t understand your hate for squadrons and need to constantly remind us...
Super battle Crabbok. Tired much? The paint job on that cymoon is great. Wish I had the skills to do that. Now when do you buy your second SSD to paint...
Yes this was a great battle. I don't find the SSD as compelling to watch in BR as it is just so big and really seems to remove a lot of the strategy. I know it doesn't but it just FEELS like it does. It would be really fun to see an 800-1000 Sector Fleet Battle between a classic 'Rebel' Fleet vs a Classic 'Empire' one. Ie maybe the rebels only have one or maybe two big ships, lots of mid ships and a full quarter of points for squadrons but most of them Aces, and the Empire has Lots of Star Destoryers, and numerically a huge number of Ties but not that many aces. And also no Tie Defenders or 'werid' ships! Just an idea!
Hmm. Interesting POV on the "fighters slow the game down" thing. On the one hand it really wouldn't feel like SW without swarms of them, but OTOH they do seem to take a lot of time for their actual impact on the game. Have you ever tracked how much damage is coming from fighters versus ship guns in your games relative to the costs for each? I've played a lot of different rules over the years and the Armada approach of really needing your ships providing command control to get good use out of fighters seems like a clever innovation. Maybe the real problem is the level of detail on the fighters themselves? I can't think of any capital ship rules where the small craft aren't much, much more abstracted than here.
Good lordy, I haven't seen a table that cramped since...well, the last time I watched a 40K game at the local store. But you don't usually get this kind of traffic jam in starship games.
Why didn’t you just split the forces up, start with 700 points on the board and introduce new ships as the fight goes on, like calling on reinforcements
Imagine when it gets nice out and my channel can do stuff like this weekly I have a 9x9 foot battlefield and I have to say the biggest mistake of this game is these terrible shaped boards. 6x5 at a min or im not playing I need room to stretch me legs man
I think that 600-1400 point games would be a welcome site with house rules to keep squadrons no more than 120 points. Just to keep it moving and keep it what Crabbok suggested.. a fleet game, not a squadron based game.
Imagine a 1400 point battle of Coruscant when the Clone Wars comes out for Armada. That would be incredible
dude that is gonna be so sick. I wonder how many venators i can afford
Can't wait for clone wars, I haven't got the game yet but I'm planning to get it when clone wars armada comes out
Lord Luxembourg the waits almost over
Still waiting on the venator
clone wars is in game

I can now see from the perspective of the Empire and their overconfidence
Please do this on a bigger board ❤️ I think the rebels would have an advantage if it was spread out
Yeah, with that many ships in the game can degenerate into a dice rolling contest...not fun.
id need to see "at least" 2 starhawks on that board...geeez.
Either that.. have no obstacles. But still could be done on a 3x6. No objectives, no Obstacles.
1400 points?! You sir are a mad man.
Sees the fleet: SWEET MOTHER OF GOD!
That’s a ton of ships! Wish the rebel fleet looked more iconic. More Nebs.
You need 50 tie fighter squadrons!! I can see some of these massive battles taking place on a 4x6 mat, or a larger setting at a local game store!
Be cool to see someone build layers on their table, to make it even more of "space" battle.
Thanks for the shoutout at 24:48 😉 I’m obsessed with token shenanigans, so I’m a fan of the Executer title, but I understand that it just doesn’t fit with your style.
Great battle. The commentary and speeded-up video really worked well.
Great batrep.
My ptsd suffering wallet got a glimpse of ur fleet and ran into a corner to cry.
Great battle, and great camera angle.

Their ships cannot repel firepower of that magnitude.
ITS A TRAP
But I agree. Rebels benefit from low point games and imperials benefit from high point games
These are always fun to watch! Thanks for playing!
I would love to find a club in Austin so I could play. I’ve had the game for a few years but I’ve only been able to play my sister so I’m still a beginner lol
Awesome man, thanks for making the time sacrifice for us lol

Seraphim Studios. And the Rebel Fleet is at the beginning of the video.
Where can I get some of those damage markers that you used to put on your ships in the game?
Loved the sped up battle report. Definitely repeat this format. Great commentary too while watching. Keep up the uploads, love them all
I am confused , does the ssd move like any other ship or it requires a nav? Better yet:must it move normally as all ships (but needs a nav to turn) or does it need a nav JUST to move at all?
This looks like an insanely large battle for imperial side rebels are all tiny by comparison to
Is there rules for 1200pt games where each player places on the ends of the board? Also I think a 1200-1400 mega battle deserves at least one more battle mat. Cheers and good game.
where would I find your video on the damage tokens you used?
Second batrep I've seen you do with the SSD/Belator. Have you done a game where the SSD gets taken down? It seems like it's pretty indomitable.
your in Orlando?!?!? where do you guys play at??????|
I've been looking for a place to play!!!!
which of the mc80 packs provides the best upgrades (between home one and liberty)
Great battle, thanks for sharing
I have a armada question is it ok if someone just gets the armadas for the ships

Funny...I actually got into the game BECAUSE the game included fighters...lol
AMAZING

If the rebels could maneuver into a firing line along the flank of the SSD...
Does anyone know which laser pointer he uses for field of view
It’s by army painter
Super battle Crabbok. Tired much? The paint job on that cymoon is great. Wish I had the skills to do that. Now when do you buy your second SSD to paint...
How does one counter the superstar destroy cause it is insane
Holy pew pews that board is crowded
Yes this was a great battle.

Very cool!
Wow....totally massive.
your right the tokens do look like explosions.
You have a beautiful dog!
Every single ship I bought in Armada was so I could do this exact same thing
I thought it was great! You might split it up a bit and put in some clips of live big dice rolls, those are always fun
How's about your take on this triple Force Friday
Hmm. Interesting POV on the "fighters slow the game down" thing. Awesome game
Love!
Gotta use 3x9 play area. But that custom table can't accommodate that big of an area.
The 411 beast is a job to kill. My buddy and I did SSD v SSD fleets for kicks. Called it at the end of round four cause the store had to close but this was the fleet I ran against him and I popped the 411 sloane beast in four rounds. I can be done.

Haven't watched this video yet, but noticed the rebel fleet lacked more firepower against 1 SSDs and 4 SDs
I thought you weren’t allowed to deploy at speed zero
Somebody should animate this
If this was supposed to be Endor why are you fighting over Yavin? I call shenanigans...lol
Still though this is super fun to watch.
Well maybe he does not have endor?
Thers no interdictor and the other star destroyer beside it same thing with the red star destroyer in the battle of endor good gameplay anyways
Why didn’t you just split the forces up, start with 700 points on the board and introduce new ships as the fight goes on, like calling on reinforcements
So many ships haha.

Hello there!
Imp traffic jam?
Soooooo......no ones ever done a 10,000 point battle
Why are you calling the ISD’s Kowot’s I know that’s the company that built them but still
Misha Gertos it’s the card type from the “ chimera expansion” like isd 1, isd 2, or kowot version
Battle of endor... over yavin 😂
but actually in Orlando!
I think that 600-1400 point games would be a welcome site with house rules to keep squadrons no more than 120 points. Just to keep it moving and keep it what Crabbok suggested.. a fleet game, not a squadron based game.
SSD hard to take down please. give me one fighter and i got this :-D.
Don’t worry guys, Dak’s got this ;) [Google the reference]
@@TheRealAfroRick family guy don't have to google it.
