- My first Wave 7 game - made a few mistakes but that's to be expected since the hype was overwhelming!

I'm surprised you didn't just do I-class as they are only 110. Well maybe two I-class and a Kuat. Anyways wanted to see 3 ISDs so here's a like.
When the hammerhead jumped in it looked like the scene in the movie
i think this was a classic Thrawn decoy attack. Only a Test and next time he will strike :)
As much as it's fun to use Thrawn with three ISDs how good do you think Motti or Constantine will be now? 3 14 hull ISDs with what. 14 more points to play with?
I never even thought about using Raddus to get the drop on enemies... I think I might just have to load up a MC30 with some ordnance experts and drop that bad boi in there
I need to get MC-75 as soon as possible. The ship itself is amazing
Crabbok you should detail the engine area of your Green ISD.... flat black or a dark Grey.. then mix white and French Blue for your engines.... Nice Battle by the way. Liking wave 7
so why use Pryce when Strategic advisor can give you a free pass for 4 points. Seems to me that card is an auto-include in any big-ship list to force activation into arcs or even as you mention you can negate it off the opponent.
Advisor affects one activation, Pryce affects the entire round. So if you're playing a 3-ship list vs a 5-ship list, Pryce gives you better value (that turn).
yeah, i think that only really pays reliably when you bid for first aggressively to guarantee last/first. There are so many more situations where it is less than optimal including this one where that card was dead weight. Strategic advisor is clearly superior in that slot on a general basis and virtually mandatory now.
Or you use both.
600 point battles here they come
Nah, a standard game of 40k is at least 2,000.
@@Marinealver more like 1850 actually.
Crabbok...as an Empire player...that's was god aweful DX
Good thing it was just a simulation! ha ha! Now you know not to run naked Star Destroyers!
3rd one might have been a bit of an overreach eh?
It looked like having 5 large base ships on the table really shrinks it down. I loved it, nobody wasted time getting into the fray.
Being able to pass is going to be an interesting play, I wouldn't mind running a fleet not moving and staying in formation.
Great video! My suggestion would be to show in more details the entire play since this was the very first wave 7 game, so we can see the news ships moving and leanr on the job over the mechanics and so on.
Absolutely - I plan to get some more games fully recorded and planned out this way for more complete game sessions.
I would love to see the ships used with the cards they come with, really trying out the new play styles. I know that's how the Rebellion played that.
I can't wait to get Raddus!! I have been running smaller ships due to my budget restrictions and having a set up where I can drop them in point blank like that will be awesome. This will be the first ship I get that's bigger than a Nebulon-B.
Me too. I mean, The only big ship I have is the MC80 Home One, which I haven´t played yet, and budget is also limited, I´ve been playing only with small ships only (CR90/Nebulon Bs for Rebels and Imperial light cruisers and Gladiator Class Star Destroyer for Empire. Funny Empire is always winning though...
liking the green star destroyer
interesting, definitely agree that Star Destroyers need upgrades
Need to get that ship!
Great battle report but the constant moving of your camera was making me queasy...
Awesome battle report! the MC-80 seems a little op lol. Its ok tho. Goold luck in the future!
The mc75 migt be my all time favorite (after the ssd of course ; )
why was the ISD Ramming the other ISD
You should do another massive armada battle.
Great Batrep! Loving the Rebel build
Yavin IV is the size of a quarter
Should I fly empire or rebels
The Mc75 looks amazing!
You were like a school kid all giddy haha
*Ahem* External Racks *Ahem*
Now you're just rubbing it in...lol
I think I am sold on getting 75
Why is ISD green?
I want that ship.
Excellent video
Hpw did you make the ISD green like that
Airbrush
@@Crabbok but do you use any other coler like black
thanks for the batrep
Wow a MC80 liberty took out 2 imperial star destroyer on its own that's a little op it need to be a little nerfed or something it didn't have upgrades I know but would a ISD need them honestly I know I'm getting a little triggered and I don't think this is cannon but I wish the liberty was as powerful as a VSD I know in cannon that the liberty is as strong as a ISD but to balance raider-cr90 nebulon-lightcruiser MC80 liberty-VSD MC80-ISD sorry 2 ISD beaten by 1 weaker MC80 liberty does anyone have another opinion cause I'm confused sorry
You've got to realize though, that liberty was FULLY upgraded, and the Star Destroyers were virtually naked. (Gunnery teams did nothing against a single target). In addition to being fully upgraded it was able to warp in from hyperspace and ambush me from an angle that I didn't anticipate. Liberties can be really strong when flown well, and my opponent Sean makes it a habit of flying them well.
Your comment is an ocean of words, yet shallow as a glass of water.
Also rolls were strongly in favor of the Liberty. Great placement and hot dice...
Rachel Mc Donagh I do get what you mean, though. MC 80s always struck me as retrofitted cruise liners rather than high tech battleships like star destroyers.
Keyboard Athlete I thought the same thing
Wave 7!
Did someone fart @ 1:28?
No, that's the chairs moving against the tile floor.
Cool. Too bad Star Wars Armada is so expensive to get into, though.
Try Barnes and Noble. I found while it's not always marked in-stores or even on their main web page, a lot of this stuff will be marked down. Found a Core Set, an ISD, and a Home One expansion all for half off not too long ago.
Just look up Star Wars Armada, check in-store availability, and see what each store is selling it for.
Yep. In the UK I don't get why we pay the exact dollar price in pounds...so a $50 is £50 and allot of other stores either have no stock (that's normal for FFG) or the reduction is only something silly like £5-10...it's a shame as I like space battles in Star Wars
Thanks
Check EBAY constantly. Players sell entire collections cheap. I managed to get my brother a large "starter set" collection of rebel ships and cards for about $180. It'll serve him more than enough as a start to his fleet. The only downside is scams but I haven't ran in to them yet.
cool, thanks
video a bit too fast and rushed for me. i use your videos to learn mechanics and thought process, you skipped all that. a link to the full version would help me.
