I am so glad I watched this! I'm slightly terrified at how successful my discovery calls are going to be moving forward. You all are the best! Thanks for all you do!
Thank you for sharing SO much value in this video. The question that come up for me is: How do you introduce participants to navigating Miro so they can effectively participate? (I ran something like this with my team using Zoom whiteboards and I noticed navigation was a learning curve.
Great insight, thank you! I have a few questions below :) - How do you go about "selling" this to potential clients and get them to participate? - Who are the perfect stakeholders to take part in the workshop? - After delivering the results (PDF), do you actively follow up after a while?
Thanks for your questions nle! The perfect stakeholder to take part in the workshop is either the project sponsor (the person on the client side who pays for the project but might not participate) or the project leader who would be the decider in the sprint, plus a couple other people if they wish to bring them along. And yes, we follow up after a while after delivering the results. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck!
Thanks for the video, really good, clear and informative. My question is, how many people from the client side are necessarily to run a first sales call like that and what do you have to say to convince not only one, but a team to show up for a demo call?
Thanks for this detailed insight! How do you handle throwing clients into Miro cold? I find there's a steep learning curve at the beginning of workshops, especially if the stakeholders aren't the most tech-y people. I would be concerned that they wouldn't be able to participate fully, not because they don't want to, but because they're struggling with the tool.
Hey Amr, we also really feel the need to do some kind of LDJ or Scoping Workshop before we do the 'actual' workshop, just to get a better grip on the challenge and make sure it's clearly defined before getting everyone together in a room for one week. I have a question on this workshop though. When you're dot voting, people can vote for every category, right? What do you do with the first exercise that maps out the challenges, why don't you prioritise those? To me it would seem that doing that would yield the most value. What's the rationale behind using the Blue Ocean here? Love to hear your thoughts on this.
Hi, thanks for sharing, this video it's what I needed >oo< .. I've learned a lot with your videos (L). I already facilitated my first remote Sprint and my client what amazed and really happy. Just one question, my clients asks and talk a lot for understand " the concepts" in the middle of the sprint or a workshop, so the time at the end are minimum 20 mins plus that I planified, how do you lead with this without been rude or froid.. ?? Thank you
Thanks for this amazing tutorial ... When i have the money to pay your complete course i will be happy! (Colombian pesos it's so weak compared with the Euro :( )
Thanks for your comment Zion grafico! Glad you find the video amazing and helpful. We are suuuuuuuper excited that you’re interested in the Masterclass and completely understand your position with regard to the affordability. At this moment, unfortunately, we aren’t able to issue any discounted licenses for the Masterclass other than those available through campaigns :-( Buuuut, as you may know, we have made lots of material available on our UA-cam channel on the Design Sprint 2.0 which is exactly the same version we use with our clients. You can access them all here (ua-cam.com/play/PLxk9zj3EDi0X5CgoFckoheIFAx-uT2i7j.html). A great start into the Sprint with clients is to use an LDJ (Lightning decision jam) which will get them familiar with the Design Sprint framework and can be done in as little as an hour. We also personally use this to test the waters with clients as it involves exercises that are used in exactly the same format for the full Design Sprint. We also have a remote version of this workshop (ua-cam.com/video/0iVQYHHCTf0/v-deo.html) ✅ LDJ Slides -> drive.google.com/file/d/1E-UCf1gUpuIfcLDxRCAa2VKYywagV6lP/view 📺UA-cam video explaining it ->ua-cam.com/video/w9MvYDaA1Bk/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AJ%26Smart Gracias otra vez! Esperamos que lo puedas aprovechar.
Found the focus is on the wrong things in the video, eg talks about how fun the board is and playing music, rather that what is meant by "raising" issues and how to actually conduct the exercise

@@AJSmart You're amazing guys. Thank you so much
Amazing as always!
Thank you Ygor Chaves! Glad you like the video.
Do you have any experience/ideas for using workshops to get user (not client) feedback on a product/service?
Thanks for your question Zoheb Qazi! We get user feedback through user testing. Hope this was helpful. Cheers

Noted. Thanks for your feedback, Chris!
