Footage out of Ukraine reportedly shows a pair of Russian fighter jets sharking through the skies near Kyiv.
The Russian jets are flying insanely low to avoid radar lock from air defense systems, but at the same time, their low altitude suggests they are not all that concerned about man portable air defense systems (MANPADS) or they would be flying at much higher altitudes and out of range.

I've never worked on a fighter before and I don't know too much about them but one time we had one parked in our hangar because it broke down. Supposedly it only had a few hours of flight.

As the mig passes the tree. You can see that the mig is poorly pasted into this shot, its cut out from Airshow footage and placed into this shot. I am surprised to see how few people can spot such an obviously faked Video.
These planes are NOT russian Flanker’s, these are both Ukrainian mig 29 fulcrums and they are wingmen, they are likely flying low to search for low altitude targets while remaining undetected

Both of the aircraft in the video are MiG-29s of the Ukrainian Air Force, not Russian ones. (This is the information known at this time, and may be updated in the future)

When I see an A-10 flying over my house from the local airbase, it gives me a weird feeling at the back of my head knowing how deadly the machine flying over me is. I couldn’t even imagine the feeling of seeing an enemy’s fighter jet flying over you in an active war.

Most pilots would not be fine with bombing a building with kids in it. And for soldiers that did kill children, it often results in lasting deep regret or PTSD. And that was with soldiers who shot kids who had weapons in their hands. So in short, most soldiers would not knowingly kill a child unless that child had a weapon threatening them or their brothers in arms.
A significant proportion of the people there don't view Russia as the enemy.

Looks more like two pilots, confused about where they are in relation to where their objective is, and coming close to a mishap collision.
I love jets, growing up in peacetime has always had me associate that sound with airshows. Seeing this video caused me to realize how much I take the idea that fighter jets are friendly for granted.

For a US guy who's only really seen videos like this in middle east countries that are pretty far removed from other familiar places, this really puts the Ace Combat 04 cutscene of the kid watching jet fighters dancing in the sky above his own town putting everyone in danger in context
It could happen, and that’s the scariest part. Each death that’s caused by a war just grows more hate on either side. The kid in Ace combat 04 thankfully didn’t seek revenge but many in our society do. It saddens me greatly.

I was fishing with my father in a remote part of a giant recreation area one time. It was a quiet place typically. All of the sudden it was not anymore. 5 jet fighters were all over us practicing. It was the most random thing, truly terrifying. They were just practicing and I was scared out of my mind. I can’t imagine how frightening it would be knowing they have a payload they’re willing to drop on you.
Live in germany, we got a US airbase not too far from where i grew up, usually they would practice with f-16s every other day, even do low passes over our house, sometimes they were so loud we had to interrupt classes in school because we couldnt hear the teacher. Everyone was used to it but when my grandmother from another part of germany visited us she got scared and wanted to hide. It reminded her of ww2, her city got bombed by the allies when she was a child.

It was scary first week when Nato bombed my country in the middle of Europe in 1999...but somehow the life is always stronger than fear of death...you get use to it after some time. I'm just sorry for the people that is going trough all this...especially children...some scars will always be there even if you stay alive and not hurt. I thought that invasion was a fals flag from Western media...it seems I was wrong. I hope this will end soon for the sake of all people there...

I once saw 2 fighter jets just routinely fly by at about that altitude and it shakes the entire house. I thought it was an earthquake before I saw them fly by.

It broke our windows in 1999 during Kosovo war. I was 5 and I still remember the jets flying overhead, my sister was 3 and started crying from the noise alone.
My dad witnessed bombing by aircraft(b-52), he remembers seeing the rocket, seeing the fire and smoke then hearing the blast from far away.
Truly terrifying to this day.
I’m sorry you have that memory. Mine is positive, only because it was Canadian jets (I’m live in Canada). It was a cool experience. Crazy how experiences are so different under certain circumstances. Glad your family made it through that ordeal.

i live in San Diego and I hear this sound from F/A-18’s all the time (they sound very similar) and I love them but the sound is unnerving sometimes even knowing it’s our own. I can’t imagine what its like knowing it’s an enemy.
btw, the last 3-4 days i’ve heard an uptick in naval aircraft flying, lots of helicopter movement, I’ve heard two Ospreys, and F/A-18’s about 3-4 times a day. Not common the hear all this in such short time span in south San Diego. Maybe a new deployment?
Between the 8 and 9 second marks you can see the smoke trail from the low Mig disappear, when he hits the burners.

I live in the mountains of eastern Kentucky and we see fighters from Wright Patterson Air Force Base fly low and slow overhead every spring. Barry buzzing the tree tops. Our mountains look a lot like the ones in southern Russia. It’s amazing and I’m super jealous of those pilots!

The anxiety and terror I feel just from watching all the videos is sickening …I cannot even fathom what it feels like to be a civilian during this or what the men And women serving our country must feel like/have felt when being faced with combat. For whatever reason seeing these has really affected me even though being the daughter of a WW2 vet I am very familiar with war 😔

No real point to any further resistance. And that highlights another big difference- the stakes. This is not the German Army. I was watching MajorSamm's stream last night, and I think they identified these two as Ukrainian. There were a few different times two jets were spotted, there's a chance it was these badasses.
@JUDASFINKELSTEIN Any one who knows a little about planes could tell those are Mig29s. Just pause a frame and you'll see them. On the other hand, Russians mostly passed that type off frontline service, so they are probably ukrainians, perhaps flying low to avoid russian interception

I watched that like ten times although scary as hell the way they did that was. Very brilliant you see one flying slower and higher by. About four hundred feet then you see the lower one going hella fast in a straighter curve so if the higher one missies the target the lower one is right in it's face to make sure it's dead either way

They aren't travelling fast enough. If you look closely at the very start of the video, you'll see a smoke trail above the house. Looks like the lead fired a missile. Probably what the bang was.

This isn't the Ghost, these are 2 Russian Wingmen, 1 is flying low to attack ground targets (hear the loud boom in the beginning, its him blowing something up) and the other one flying high to cover him.

Its not about Ukraine. Its the West (USA) that influenced Ukraine and using it as a battlefield against russia. US-Weapons beeing used by Ukrainians. Beatiful for USA, when no US-Soldier has to die, while still you can do Military and Economy War vs Russia!

Those pilots knew what they were up against, they knew the odds said they would probably die. But they got in their planes, roared into the sky and chose to fight. And they held the line.

These are probably Ukraine's fighter jets deploying for defensive purposes... and they fly as low as possible to avoid getting detected by Russian's threats

Ukraine lost their air force in the first hour of invasion with russians launching 400 balistic missiles on their airfields. What little survived fled to Romania. Its 2 russian planes, the lower one attacking ground instalations the higher one giving it cover from possible air threats.

I've experienced something like this, when a fight jet flew pretty close to a house I was in. I remember I was trying to sleep after a long day at work, but I heard an sound I've never expericenced before, I don't even know how to describe it, was like the sky was falling. I don't think I'll forget this. All my prayers to Ukrainian and Russian people.

As i type this i have Eurofighters flying over my house for air displays, they dont get this low but are terrifyingly loud, this must be other worldy

Ukraine cannot use any air crafts at all. Russia did cruise missiles strike early in the morning and destroyed all Ukrainian air-fields and air defense sites. So, skies are under total control of Russia. They drop airborn troops even without any fighters escort.
@@AlexanderTch the mig 29 can perform very short takeoffs, and radars can pick up these missiles, if fast enough some of these planes could manage to get airborne before the kalibr missiles hits

I'll never forget the scene from 1999 a Nato war against Yugoslavia, I was watching from the window my mom is coming back home (a long street in front of our house) and one f15 was in tight turn flying low over my city of Novi Sad, boy this was a terrible experience for me and now some young kid in Ukraine is going through same shit with same filling, damn.
It's called "buzzing" they'd do this often when I was in Afghanistan. It's basically a show of force
