If this mode allowed you to place/mine blocks and attacking by clicking anywhere in range with your mouse rather than the crosshair this would be an excellent mode for minecraft
Would be a really good viewing mode for building and bridging, when you don't care about emersion into 1st person view but just want to build sufficiently without flying.
the isometric screenshot being removed in early alpha is the biggest missed opportunity imho, ik theres mods and rendering tools that can do it but its just not the same. in general i think minecraft should really have some sort of built in screenshot tools like terraria does

11:43 - Here you can see the tricks that your graphics mod uses to create the illusion of reflections on the water surface - it calculates where the reflection appears to be on the water (based on the player's location), and re-colours the water surface based on what would be reflecting there, actually producing streaks on the water surface pointing roughly towards the player. It spcifically uses the player's location not the camera location, means the illusion doesn't work when you move the camera away from the player, as we can see here. (I've not researched how it really works, just guessed from what we see in-video.)
oh yeah I noticed that when I was playing the game... When I was swimming in the ocean, the reflection of the water is directed to the player. That's why I avoid swimming in water LOL it gives me the headache

Fixed isometric would be very possible if they add the mod "Jade" (which tells you what you're looking at so you can interact all around you), and if the Orthocamera mod showed the blocks adjacent to your feet so you can see what's around you when closed off, allowing you to switch between using a cursor directly and using the cursor as seen in this video, and if it hid the blocks preventing you from seeing the player, which I think would make the game super fun, and with additional mods could feel like a new game altogether. You could even make Project Zomboid in Minecraft.
that's on point!! Playing in isometric in minecraft is so different!! just by changing the view, the game completely changes. I'm currently editing a new video which hopefully go out mid of december! related to this video hehe
Great video! One thing I noticed is that you're using Serious Animations, which has horrible walk/run cycle animations. I recommend turning those off in the config and using the Fresh moves resource pack in combination with the mod to have better looking walk cycles 👍👍.
