So this is pretty much mazinkaiser and shin mazinger zero. I think go nagai didn't want devilman or kouji to lose or tie to each other since both are his precious works colliding
Even in works like Go Nagai World,Mazinger and Devilman still clash heads with each other.
Truth be told, I picture DOOM as part of this too.
Man, this is one heck of a trippy comic even compared to Mazinger Zero. I also imagine that's part of why the hiatus exists, given Mazinger Zero kinda encompasses what Mazinsaga might've been, no?
That Aphrodite A and Boss Borot were pretty cool though. I hope to see them in an SRW game sometime.
I would really love to see them reintroduce Mazinsaga in some way, be it an anime adaptation or a continuation of the manga.
Getter robo arc is getting an anime adoption/continuation, this is possible.

Mazinsaga would be a unique addition if they ever add it to super robot war. Hell, add in Getter robo devolution aswell as the original series of mazinger and getter alongside the current shin mazinger and getter robo armageddon. It's not like it couldn't work as basically all SRW games feature alternate dimensions. Just not alternate versions of the characters.
It kinda sucks Z isn't in SRW yet.

Getter devolution was great until the horrible bs reveal, like wtf? I thought we are fighting the multiverse devourer.
So Mazinsaga is Mazinger Zero before Mazinger Zero. I'd hate to see how powerful it *would* have become if Mazinsaga kept going.
I get the feeling it would be on a Getter Emperor-level of power.
@@linearman0245 i think it would much more powerful, the Mazinger of Mazinsaga has no limit whatsoever, it's basically omnipotent, its only weakness is Kouji's narrow mind and imagination.

Thank for the video. I love Mazinger franchise so much and its a shame to not see the fight between Mazinsaga and Devilman. If Mazinsaga were to ever be animated, that's a fight that I wanna see at all cost.

Seriously though, I have a feeling that Martian artefacts being used to empower humanity is a trope used long before Doom (maybe originated from the John Carter novels?) but could Mazinsaga be the first time where Martian Demons were used in fiction?

Well there are the Zeta Mazinger and its spiritual predecessors, Mazinger USA and the God Mazinger, which are all known as the honorary alternate franchise equivalents to Osamu Tezuka’s Ambassador Magma, P Productions’ Spectreman and Tatsuya Yasuda’s Steel Jeeg.
I like this Mazinger because it is both invincible and vulnerable at the same time. The helmet grants the powers of an omnipotent god to a mortal, the problem is that the soul and mind of a mortal cannot comprehend such a power and therefore cannot use this power to its full extent. And if Kouji isn't careful he could end up like his father, absorbed by Mazinger, fading away from existance. However, if Kouji manages to elevate his spirit he could make Z's power his own. Basically Mazinger is an extremely powerful steroid for the soul.
Damn, that game looks pretty sweet I wanna play it now. And I won't mind seeing a video about the maiznkaisers, and possibly voltron as well...I'm kinda surprised you didn't do voltron yet.

It's really hard to look for Mazin Saga stuff, besides the old video game (pretty hard, I tried it when I was a kid) and sayings that it was another Go Nagai's incomplete work.
I only hope some talented people would want to continue or reboot those works with Go Nagai's permission.

Mazin Saga is the best looking Mazinger; such a shame that not much was shine on it.
My idea for an anime adaptation would be the that the mazinger helmet would be made from the same thing in the manga and that mazinger z\ koji is the reincarnation of Zeus who looks like mazinger and is an alien and whose remains where used to make the helmet. The first bad guy would be god Kaiser hell then the demons from Devilman ( devilman x becomes a good guy) and last the mycenae Empire who are descendants of aliens and Devilman x dies in the end all the bad guys die. The show is like kamen rider Amazons in the sound track but no knows who mazinger z is

I hate to say it but I actually like this mazinger Z better than the original ones from the 70's! This one is darker! The others that came first look more kid friendly. Mazin Saga should have gotten animated, there has only been the Genesis/Mega Drive game besides the manga, I will read the manga it's also available in Italian, I don't think it's been published in North America, the only place know it was published outside of Japan is in Europe

If Koji needs to breathe in order to use his Chakra power, how can he use his power in space ?
He needs to breathe and focus in order to activate it initially. Once he's Mazinger, the armour really only needs his strong spirit to operate effectively. So even though he's in space, he's unharmed due to his strong spirit powering the armour.

The Toei version of the Mazinger story, which currently excludes Grendizer, as the latter show now has a rather different spinoff timeline of its own, currently has a pretty lovely conclusion in the form of Mazinger Z Infinity, and I’m fine with it!

I have the Kaiser like guide book of all of the kaisers sadly it's in Japanese so I can't read it , I think it's a really limited book since I haven't been able to find it online but I got it from my father as a gift when he went to Japan

I believe i asked this before but i'm still curious, who is stronger Mazinger Zero or Getter emperor also with what i learn from this video is it possible for Mazinsaga to defeat Mazinger zero?
Zero is probably stronger but Getter Emperor has yet to show its full potential so its hard to say right now. Mazinsaga ended abruptly so we will never know how strong that Mazinger could become.
I see but in theory Mazinger Zero and Getter Emperor could be equal in terms of power based on what we know for now right?
If we're basing on what we know for now, ZERO has the advantage since it has far more impressive feats and abilities. Emperor might show more impressive stuff in the Devolution manga later on so its a bit too early to fully say.
