Interesting. Up until the moment you mentioned they were paying for the video, was not sure why you would pay good money for 1 since you won't be keeping that vehicle for years and years. While my TRD does not need such a device, as well as I feel as you do w/out trying 1, that it would not be worth my $, I do like that pedal lock out idea. IF I parked on the streets a lot and or public places over night, that would be worth considering for a vehicle security measure. 🙂

The lock function of the EVCX will work perfectly for those vehicles that are hot to be stolen like Kia, where you add that device and lock it with the app and basically immobilize the vehicle. Just an idea of possible usage of the device.

Pete from Ultimate 9 shows the advantages of a throttle controller on 4WD 24/7 channel in his GR Patrol when he's invited. A good/experienced driver will make the most out of the throttle controller, gizmos alone don't replace skill 😊

Your Ford ranger tremor does have selectable drive modes: normal, sport, eco, tow haul, slippery, deep snow and sand, and mud and ruts.
The 2022 USDM Tremor has Trail Modes, none of which have any significant affect on throttle.
@@drivingsports Even in slippery it doesn't cut your throttle? That's weird, thought that was the whole point of having that mode alone was to give the throttle less input for easier starts and less tire spin in snow/ice. Makes all those modes pointless....making for my point I've always made, none of my 4WD systems give a damn what I'm driving on or through, I just pull the lever and it goes, it don't care if I'm in snow, mud, sand, etc. LOL.

Noticed you got rid of the factory "Off Road Hoop Steps" What rock sliders did you replace them with? They look good and are low profile.
I actually just unbolted the steps and kept the rails. They're not actual Rock Rails, but they look decent enough and they do act as alarms if I get too close to the frame.
How come you weren’t at the 2024 Ranger event? I always look forward to your videos and I was sad I didn’t see one from you😢
We’re not on the Ford invite list for advanced looks - for some reason. But we do get them in fleet when they finally ship. Press event invites are weird and as you can tell, make no sense.

Ford bronco?That suck bronco!my friend bought 2023 bronco after 3 weeks got stock on the road and the problem transmission and the funny thing the ford didn't give lawner car to use while the car is on service and the car it's take 1 month to fix lol
The 2024 GX is gonna destroy theses, it's just as capable but twice the reliability, not to mention looks better.
Looks are subjective and reliability is TBD even if Toyota/Lexus do have a reputation in that regard.
Probably twice the price as well and not a truck with a bed
