Good stuff. This is actually the 4th OMV off of the upcoming album, following Someone's Daughter, Rogue and Kafka. We have also heard a 5th song, Fast Draw, being played live this year (another all harsh vocal, brutal song). Green Serpent is I believe alcohol/alcoholism

I think the serpent is alcohol. I'm not sure because unlike the other songs I have yet to see Tatiana's comments on it but it's been about two years sober for her AFAIK and reading the lyrics i would say it's about that.
After being informed and doing my own research, it turns out that the expression "bitten by the green serpent" is actually a representation of alcoholism. I do hope that nobody took this video as me mocking cultural traditions or making light of alcoholism, as I have struggled with alcoholism in my past and know all too well not to make light of a struggle like that. Much love!!
lol bitten by green serpent in slavic tradition is symbolic of alcoholism and the depths of intoxication/addiction.....as for the song the opeth outro is cool. Middle LOG breakdown is cool.
