Yes, yes!! I often do my nails at my bathroom counter because I prefer to do them before bed. Not getting any water, lotions, oils etc on them for a while definitely adds to the longevity. I’ve tried using one sticker before for two nails & it worked but I wasn’t super happy with the “cut” or shape, but like you said, I can definitely see it working for shorter nails. Thanks for the tips!!

Nnnoooo, never file before curing! It's why you cut or clip the excess part of the strip as close to your natural nail as possible then you file after first cure then cure again. I’m loving them so far but I have one issue! All the sizes don’t match, and some don’t fit my nails at all. I’ve tried stretching them but not having that much luck. Any advice?
@@4turtels846 I experience the same problem with my thumb nails. They just suggest you go smaller than bigger. I’ve tried going bigger & trying to cut to size, but it’s never a straight enough cut. I just go smaller on the thumbs. Nobody should be investigating my nails that close anyways. 😂 and I ALWAYS get compliments

The Glaze line from Dashing Diva requires a nail light. But they now have a line called the Glow line that doesn’t require a light and it’s been holding up for me just as long as the glaze.
That is crazy because I’m the exact opposite. The regular strips don’t stay on mine 🤔 I’ve had a way better experience with the glaze versus the gloss.
Some of the kits come with the light from the stores like Ulta, Target etc. If you order directly online from Dashing Diva they’ll send you a light with your purchase
Do they make your nails to thick or are they flat on because I play the violin and can’t have long or thick gel nails as it interferes with playing. And how do you remove them?
The strips do add a layer to your nails, but it’s not too thick. It’s about the same thickness as getting gel polish put on at the salon. Still significantly thinner than acrylic by far. I remove them by applying oil to my cuticles & nails, then gently lift the corners & the entire strip pops right off.
For me, it depends on how hard I am on my nails. If I’m cleaning a lot & have my hands in excessive water, 5-7 days. If I’m not cleaning, then about 9-10 days. I wash my hands A LOT though.
I would suggest wearing gloves whenever you need to wash dishes or clean. Exposing them to excessive amounts of water (outside of bathing yourself or washing your hands) can cause lifting
your doing it so perfectly but when i put the sticker on my nail and keep it under the same uv light as you my nail does not get hard even though it is the same size as your so can you tell me my mistake or explain it to me.
Are you using the semi cured gel nail strips? They have some gel nail strips that don’t get hard under the light, so first we need to check that small detail.
Yes they do!! I wash my hands a lot. Excessive amount of water exposure will decrease the number of days that they will last, but I’ve worn mine for 9-10 days with water exposure.
The glaze can last up to two weeks depending on how much water your hands are in and stuff. I don’t typically get wrinkles in the Glaze because they are less flexible than the other leading brands strips because the Glaze are semi cured
This can be done on short nails but the Glaze has to be done with a light. They sell starter kits that come with the light. They also sell two other options that don’t require a light which are the Glow & Gloss lines.
They’ve updated most of their packaging & put just one entire plastic strip over all of the nail strips on a strip. I hope that makes sense 😂 but you can peel and bend the strip a bit to loosen up the clear film.
Depending on how hard I am on my nails they can last anywhere from 5-10 days typically. I have had instances where they’ve lasted past 10 days, can’t recall a full two week. But I am constantly washing my hands due to having young kids.
Hi there! Welcome & thanks for joining the channel 😊. Yes, you can go the stores like Ulta, Target, Walmart & Walgreens to grab the Dashing Diva products. Hope that helps!! 💕
UV and LED nail drying lamps can emit low levels of radiation. You can apply sunscreen, and/or wear fingerless gloves to help add a barrier of protection.
You can get one in the kit. They have the kit at Target & Walmart. Or you can order directly from their site & they typically send you one when you order more than 1 set of nail strips.
I got mine from Ulta and they’re typically about $15 per kit. They have them at Target, Walmart, drug stores like Walgreens & directly online at Dashing Diva as well.
@Emmy.greyyyyyyy so yes and no. These don’t add length, they just make your nails harder so that they don’t break as easy. So it’s just like painting your nails with gel polish, just instead of polish they’re stickers that get hard under a light.
This set was last year sometime so I don’t recall specifically, but typically 7+ days. However, I do a lot of work with my hands that exposes them to water a lot. If that’s not your situation & they are properly applied, you can get about 10+ days.
I don’t normally put any oil or lotion on my hands until hours later. I typically do them at night right before I got to bed & have them “marinate” for a while 😂. Limits the amount of water & such that comes in contact with it for a few hours. Then I’ll use lotion & oils.
Hi! If you go to the “nails” playlist, you can see a few videos where my nails were shorter. The only way for the excess to harden completely without the nail reinforcing it underneath is to use a gel top coat. Other than that, you may have to add extensions if you want longer nails to use with the nail strips. But the actual strip doesn’t harden, hard enough to just leave the excess.
I usually rub oil around the cuticles & lift the corners up to peel them off. I have experienced some slight brittleness before with them but it’s not as bad as acrylic, gel or dip. My nails tend to recoup way quicker using these.

I hate soaking my nails to remove the polish, & although the nail strips do have some drawbacks, one of my priorities is easy & convenient removal, & I can just pop the nail strips off like they are press-ons
Thank you! Nope, these particular ones are not strong enough to add length to nails. You can add press ons & then add the strips, that would be the only way to use to strips & add length.
@reinax_ I’m thinking that the store you purchased from, may have had old stock or something. I’ve learned with my own collection, that the ones I’ve tried to use that I may have purchased a year ago don’t last. So I’m assuming that they do expire after some time.
