The only artist in my entire vinyl collection, that I have every single album. Some of my favourite and best sounding vinyl and pressings. Salute to Ryan. Incredible musician and one of the most authentic and uniquely sounding electronic artists I have ever heard. You hear a song...and you're like, that's Rival Consoles. 🤘
My first time seeing Audio Tree started booking the artists from Left Field electronic rather than bands. I'm more interested to see more acts from that side of electronic music world. Cheers.
In my opinion, Rival has a unique talent for combining electronic sound and melodies. There is so much feeling in every note and colour of his music. That is unbelievable. It doesn't mean I love every song, but there's this special DNA in every song of him. I just imagine Rival sitting in front of his synthesiser every night and drifting in his universe. KUDUS Rival!
I think audio tree has now become a source to find new music - kinda funny how if I don't find anything appealing mercy wise - donating - in a new perspective light is a thing ill do
I am triggering clips, I asked them not to highlight it so much in camera because it didn’t feel it was very interesting, I am also controlling the levels of each stem with the faders, including the rev2 synth as well as eq and fx etc
@@rivalconsoles_musicYou are one of my favorite artists. Some types of music "simply" involves moving knobs and faders, and that's more than ok, when your music is the result.
he is good ....but now in 2024 ....the pauses cant be longer than 20 seconds and the "charging moment" only 5-6 seconds .. after pandemic people dont tolerate the exhausting wait for the boooooom !
People just want a 2 minute song and is really depressing because they live really fast than rather to stay calm and enjoy a track that lasts more than 3 minutes. He is really good! Underrated as f and believe me he inspires a lot.
Are you sure you can call this mishmash of sounds a composition? This isn't music; music is based on three fundamental elements: harmony, melody, and rhythm. This project, heavy to listen to, only has rhythm achieved with LFO, ring modulation, filter opening and closing, and ADSR.
You say music is based on three fundamental elements, which seems like you are implying those elements are not present in his music(they clearly are by the way). But then you point out that the specific way one of those elements is achieved doesn’t fit into your framework of how it should be achieved. So basically what you are saying is that YOU should be the judge of what is to be considered as music and what is not !?
One of the best to ever ever do it.

Saw him live in London this week- supporting Kiasmos, and he fucking tore it up. Absolutely sublime.
Now that's a great bill. Huge fan of both artists.

Amazing! Anyone know what track is playing at 11:24 while Ryan is talking about painting?
Wondering about the same thing…
❤
I wish I get to 1% of how he treats sound and composition, someday
Is it an ID on the track playing in the background at 10 min?
wonder what the video software is???
سکسامریکای 4:48
finally, Keanu Reeves from AliExpress
Yes but he Is not playing live Just touching knobs, not even launching clips. What's the point of the interviene then

I think the point is a musical performance is more than just running a mixing desk or fiddling with knobs & switches.
@@Folkstone1957I’ll make sure to perform my music as a jazz trio next time.
