I feel like awful for every saying anything bad about life, watching this videos makes me realize how much worse I could have it and to thank god for letting me be healthy and happy and be able to sleep in a bed in a nice home
I'm so glad you've recovered. My sister couldn't get out of cardiac arrest and died Guillain-Barré Syndrome the age of 20. I send you a hug and many blessings from Guadalajara, Mexico.
I have never been happier for a total stranger in my life! Thank you so much for sharing your experience....especially the progress you made! So, so, so happy for you and your family! Don't ever stop sharing your story...you are an inspiration!
I'm speechless!!!!! This is one of the most important thing I've seen in my life. The power of the human spirit, the power of faith, the power of family, the power of love!!!!!
Very encouraging, I am sharing this story with my daughter who is quadriplegic due to a car accident 12yrs.ago her name is Sandra Velo.im her mother Maryann.
I cried to see what this young man had to go threw to survive. Such hard work. Was so happy to see Andrew finally fully recover!! What a blessing!! Thank God above!! Amen!!!
@@keelinmorris2115 Good morning and thanks for asking. I am still in physical and occupational therapy, but I'm honestly not getting any better. The GBS is travelling up my body and is now midway of my thighs. I just know that really soon...I'll be on a ventilator if it keeps going up!!! Please keep me in your prayers.
LINDA Burnette >>> Yeah, God was like “I was gonna just let this guy die, as you do. But then I listened to all those prayers and you’all will never guess, I changed my mind. Of course, I knew I would, ‘cause I knew all those people would say those prayers that made me change my mind. They couldn’t NOT pray because I knew that they WOULD pray. If for some bizarre reason some of them thought “Sod it. I’m not gonna pray.” They would have found themselves praying against their will, because if they didn’t I wouldn’t have changed my mind and the guy would have died because that’s what I wanted all along. Except I didn’t- see explanation above. Seriously folks, can’t you see that this weird, illogical thinking makes no sense, because if it did it would mean that you had no free will and that everyone’s destiny has been pre-ordained since the beginning of time. Anyway, Andrew was an incredibly brave and courageous person, also astonishingly good looking to boot.
Thank you for posting this. I was diagnosed with GBS in December after suddenly having profound weakness in my legs and then losing my ability to walk. I was transferred to a bigger teaching hospital where I was told I was in critical condition. I now can walk short distances with a walker and start outpatient therapy next week. I’m optimistic that one day I’ll be back to my old self!
I’m walking without any assistive devices, can drive and climb a few stairs. My walk still looks like a toddler because I had tendon contractures after being unable to love my legs and feet. Still in Pat and have definitely seen progress. It’s a long road.
I love your story . In 2005 I was 40 years old and I got diagnosed with GBS. They think mine started from a back injury. Within 4 days from my first symptoms I was in the ICU on life support. Before being admitted to the hospital I went to the emergency room 3 times telling them something was wrong. They thought I was seeking pain pills. I begged them not to send me home . I knew something was seriously wrong. My last ER visit I was sent home barely able to stand on my legs. I went home that afternoon and laid on my sofa and told my husband I was going to die that day. He didn't know what to do. Every time he took me to the hospital they would send me home. I told him to please call my mom as I wanted to see her before I died. She could not believe my condition when she got to my home. At first she was angry with my husband but what do you do when doctors keep sending you home. She called an ambulance and by the time they arrived I was like a limp rag doll. There is no love like a mother's love. When we arrived she said we are not leaving until you tell me what is wrong with my child. Luckily this ER visit there was a neurologist there that did a spinal tap and found the problem. By that night I was on life support. I was totally paralyzed, I even lost my sight for a few days due to my brain swelling on my optic nerve. My family called in a priest as I was not expected to make it through the night. God is good. 20 years later I am still here. I am not 100 % . My left foot is partially paralyzed and my leg strength is very weak. I have to push myself up when I get up from a seated position and I have to use a cane when I walk. It was a huge battle to recover. Thank you for your story and thank you for letting me tell mine. Gog bless

Giuliano barre is listed on vaccine inserts as a possible complication of vaccines. So I was wondering if it was possibly a vaccination that caused this?
Just when I was complaining about small things in life, I watch your story and realize that they're nothing compared to what you went through. You are truly an inspiration and I'm very happy that you got better.
My cousin went to the shepherd center after he was paralyzed from a drunk driver. It was such a good place. They taught him how to drive, swim and anything you could imagine. He lives a normal life as he can.
My husband woke up paralyzed one morning. He was rushed to the hospital where he was in the ICU for a month & rehabilitation for 2 more months. He was diagnosed with GBS also. It was the scariest experience of our lives. Your a fighter Andrew 💪 great job my friend
My husband had GBS in 1968. Many of the things that others have comment on were just what he went through. It was a very frightening experience that he went through. He did make a complete recovering. He was the first known case of GBS in Santa Cruz County. After that Drs would call on him to visit others that had GBS to try and encourage them. We celebrated our first Wedding Anniversary while he was in the hospital recovering. Praise God he survived the sickness. They did not give us much hope. They have new ways now of treating GBS, things they didn't know of then.
How terrible is it that an insurance company gets to dictate who your doctor is even when he is not helping or even trying. I am so glad you have recovered
I am on medicaid, and people say I shouldn't complain because it's free. Well crap, I've had some horrible doctors. I have refractory epilepsy, and all my neurologists said it was my mental illness. After 20 years of hit or miss, crap neurologists I have an amazing neurologist. She understood, knew it wasn't my mental illness. When my medication didn't work she helped me get an implant, and now I'm seizure free.
@@rachelmartin3631 first off that is so AWESOME that you finally got someone who cares about people, who HEARS YOU, and helped you . I am in Canada where shitty doctors are as well and when you get one it is so harmful. I pretty much was born with a headache...my dr for years said she is faking it, and if she isn't she will just have to live with it. Which had my mom/family believing him. After i had children a chiropractor sent me to a neurologist who told me my pain centre in brain is misfiring and gave me a pill which gave me my life back. No matter who you are, poor rich homeless or live in mansion WE ALL DESERVE EQUAL HEALTH CARE COVERED BY TAX DOLLARS.
I am absolutely shocked by the insurance company/companies. As a European /sure we do have private hospitals special insurances/ but the treatments and hospital treatments are free so we do not have to worry about it./lived in Austria, Hungary, but settled back to my beloved home, Ireland/
Unfortunately it happens. My daughter is a PA-C. Works in a wound clinic, has a patient with a severe ulcer down and into the bone. He’s about to lose his foot to amputation, she has ordered high IV of antibiotics but the place he’s staying at will not let anyone come in do administer his meds. And they won’t let him use transport bring him in to hospital for IV. Haven’t heard today she was fight with insurance to get this medication to save his foot. Crazy
Can you share your story with me? I'm a nurse who cared for someone who had this illness. He died last year. This illness has no cure and it's always progressing, so if your son has been cured, it's a miracle

My Mama broke her hip a week ago yesterday. She is in rehab. I showed her this video. We were both Sqwaling! You have inspired a little old Lady to get off her ass and to moving. Thanks for sharing your story Son! It is inspiring Ole Miss fans you will probably never meet.
I just saw it for the first time right now, but I promise you that the next time I feel the urge to feel sorry for myself or/and complain, I will watch it again or at least remember such courage, valor, discipline, endurance, love and determination. May GOD bless y'all beautiful people always and in all ways❣🙏

Tears in my eyes when i watched your battle against this disease. You are brave & hero. This video has taken me back 12 years ago when I diagnosed with GBS ,it was very difficult time, My thoughts & prayers with those who currently affected with GBS. God bless you.
I don't know how I came across this video, but I did and watched it all the way through. What an incredible story, I mean truly fantastic! The challenges you faced were monumental, but you persevered and made it to a full recovery! You've not only recovered back to normal life yourself, but you've also served as an inspiration for anyone watching, knowing that even when we think the problems we face are too much, there is always hope. And there is strength in the Lord. God bless you, sir, best wishes for you in the future. And thank you.
Ethan B The best comment I've read so far...I don't know how I ended up here watching this but it's a blessing. I love the way the songs fitted into it all giving raw hope and encouragement. I have been chronically ill for years but this brought joy to my soul.

I stumbled across this video by accident. As a middle-aged man going through some health problems including two heart attacks, two days apart, I was feeling sorry for myself quite often and fell into a deep depression. I have no family, so have gotten through by myself. After seeing what you've been through, and how fast and wonderful you came through, you are truly an inspiration! God bless you and your family. You're a testament of how the support of loved ones can help with recovery. Congratulations on your engagement and nothing but the best for you and your future!

Thank God you have a fabulous family who love you. Welcome back!!! You deserve all good things life has to offer!
Wow Thank you for making me see how ungrateful and selfish I am as a human being. You are truly a child of God. May he continue to watch over and bless you as well as your loved ones. Thank you and I send you love and happiness.
Watching the video reminded me of how my brother (MAY HE REST IN PEACE) deteriorated within a week and passed on from GBS. Being a medic in a third world country I knew we would do nothing to save him though we did the IVIG'S. It pained me to my core, Andrew is a real inspiration.
Thank you God for giving this brave young man the strength to fight for his life. I cried at what he had to endure. I applaud him for never giving up and having the perseverance to keep fighting. God Bless you Andrew.
I had GBS almost ten years ago. I didnt have any symptoms one day suddenly i couldnt walk and rushed to the hospital. I was paralyzed from the waist down but also couldnt feel my hands either. I was in a coma for 3 days and stayed in the ICU for about a week and 3 months in the hospital. After 6 months later i was able to crawl and stand on my own. Now im fully recovered but i have things that im not able to do. I cannot thank my family and my doctors that helped me through these difficult and horrible times. Im glad that you are okay now :)
thank you for sharing this. Its astonishing how many people have dealt with this and how most know nothing about it! did they ever say what they think spurred it on for you?

It was very hard to watch Todd. Just by chance it popped up on my screen. Wonderful girlfriend. Through thick and thin. That was also a part of his therapy even though he was strong at heart.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a nursing student and I stumbled on this video. I started crying at 3 minutes and didn't stop until the end. You are the reason I am going to be a nurse, to make a difference. I'm looking foward to sharing your story with others in school. I have recently went though a hard time and it almost seems silly now. You really are my hero. And congrats on the engagment, you two make a lovely couple.
If Gbs came after a flu shot we are able to collect compensation from the US government through the vaccine court. Please pass it on. Good luck! Hang in there.
I was diagnosed with GBS on August 30th, 2016 and now I am happy to report that I am back in action as a professional ballet dancer. The path of diagnosis, care and rehab were challenging, but (as you well know) it is worlds better with family and friend by your side. May God bless you.
Andrew, you're an awesome inspiration to many who are suffering from this debilitating disease. You have a very supportive family, too! Please pray for my sister who is afflicted with GBS and still in the hospital since April 2021.
Throughout this whole video, all I see that that beautiful smile. Came back from cardiac arrest with a thumbs up. Come on now. This man is such a motivation.
Or you know God could of stopped it before it even happened? Just saying his recovery wasn't God it was his willpower and strength paired with the amazing actions of skilled doctor's and nurses.
Without a doubt this is the most inspirational story I’ve ever seen. Andrew you are a real life Super Hero. I am blown away by your Courage. Much love ❤️ to you brother. You have an amazing family and your story is unforgettable. God bless.
wow wow wow. Andrew you story is truly incredible. You literally were close to dying and then you fought you way back and won. I am so happy for you. I am so glad you found a partner to share your life with.
Andrew, you are so strong an an inspiration to so many people who have battles themselves. What struck me most about this video was your beautiful smile! Even on your darkest days I saw a smile, and when you couldn't with your mouth, I saw it in your eyes. You are truly a blessing to your family and them to you. I'm so happy for your miraculous recovery.
As a paramedic and soon to be physiotherapist student, I'm so happy you made it! I literally cried because it touched me how hard you fought to be alive and never gave up. How lovely your family cared for you and all the support you got. Your story makes me so happy! So happy to see what I can anchieve in the future. To give other humans the strenght to move on, support them through hard times and see them grow stronger day by day. Also I'm really impressed by your mental (and ofc physical) strenght. You're such an inspiration to me to keep looking forward and fight for my dreams. Thank you so much for sharing your story! So happy you have such a great family and - soon to be - wife. I wish you the best of luck in the future.
God bless you. I had GBS when I was a year old . My dad was in the Army and transferred to Fort Campbell Kentucky army base, we left behind hIm driving from California to Kentucky , my mom said I was fine at first, then I got sick very high temp. 104 and I was screaming in pain..I broke out in a rash. I wouldn't eat. She took me to the Army hospital they did 5 spinal taps was told that I have GBS now this was 60 years ago when GBS was so new most Doctors even knew about it. But I got a great pediatric neurologist I had a trike and was completely paralyzed neck down; But with in a year I stated to move my finger. By the next 6 months I was was learning to walk my mom said I was just beginning to walk when I got sick. I was in the hospital for 1 1/2 yrs. By the good Lord I got better. I'm in the medical journals of being one of the first baby to get GBS. I had to wear special shoes and braces when I went to school, by the time I went to JHS I didn't need any more braces or specially shoes. All this was told to me by my parents and family. I went to USC and graduated with a nursing degree BSN I work for 33 yrs and I did my thesis on GBS. I believe that our good Lord heals in a special way, God bless you always XOXO

I hope and pray hes thriving to this day because I can't imagine there's anyone whos more deserving of a full and happy life - especially after a journey like the one he pulled through. .
"Keeping track of what was going on helped me keep my sanity." I think mine would have been lost already. I praise the Lord that Andrew made it through this and recovered. I hope it NEVER comes back!
Bless you for your recovery. You are so correct when you say that is a family illness . We had a family friend who had it and it was horrifying to watch what they went through .
A whole range of emotions I wasn’t expecting to go through while watching this… Andrew, you’re just amazing, bro!! You’ve endured, fought through and defeated this treacherous illness, I thank God that you are still here and living life, my continued prayers to you and your family for better and brighter days ahead 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Almost 2 months ago (on a Thursday) my mom came in from work complaining of numbness in her hands and face. By noon on Saturday she was being intubated because her breathing muscles were no longer functioning. She was completely paralyzed from the neck down. When admitted into ICU and placed on life support that day, the only parts of her body she could move were her eyeballs and her tongue. Today ends the 7th week since our world was turned upside down by GBS. 21 days since I heard my momma say "I love you". 504 hours since she kissed the 5 grandkids that she has custody of goodnight. 30,240 minutes since she looked me in the eye and begged for air. 1,814,400 seconds since fear took it's permanent place on her face and in our hearts. She completed one round of IVIG treatment 6 weeks ago. She can now move her feet, wiggle her hips and turn her head to the right side. She had a tracheostomy tube placed and can communicate by mouthing words. A second round of IVIG will be given this coming week along with her swallow test and conversion from NG tube (in her nose) to a gastrostomy tube (in her stomach). Hope is just a four letter word when you're faced with ICU rooms, ventilator sounds, delirium, nightmares, 44 lost pounds, turns every 2 hours, lab draws, heparin shots, x-rays, scans. Your story (and others' I've watched tonight) have helped to restore a bit of hope. I've been reminded that my mustard seed faith can still move mountains. I've cried so many tears of grief and heartache these past 7 weeks, but you have encouraged me to recognize the importance of celebration, encouragement, and milestones. Your story has reminded me of how strong I've always known my momma to be. Thank you for being the light I so desperately needed. Your journey was/is absolutely amazing. 🖤
Celebrate each milestone...they must feel like mountains to your mom. All you need is the faith of a mustard seed. Each milestone is proof of healing she has already overcome. Sending you Prayers, Peace, Hugs & Love❤️
@@GiGizGolden1 Thank you so much. 15 months later and we’re still fighting! My momma came home last August - off the ventilator, able to eat real food, but still in a wheelchair and completely dependent. A few months ago she was able to stand and take 2 steps with assistance. Today, she can walk unassisted with a walker, feed herself and do many of her daily tasks alone. She still has very limited use of her hands and depends mostly on a wheelchair, but she is getting IVIG treatments every 3 weeks and progress is made daily. I’m so proud of her! Not once has she tried to give up. It has never been “if” she gets better, it has always been “WHEN”. I’ve always said she was my hero, but the words have never been as true as they are today. Thank you so much for your kind words. 🙏🏻🖤

Whoa! I’m 41, have a masters degree and have been through some really life altering/shattering events myself which has caused me to have thicker skin. You know, that “shake it off” mentality that society, all to often, thrusts on others, especially men. Well, by the end of this, I went through a half box of tissue and was a blubbering fool. I have never been so inspired as I have been by this testimony. Wow. I can’t convey how much I actually needed this... from a random video that popped up on my suggested videos. #miraclesarereal

I think I just witnessed a miracle! Thank you all for making this video. I wish you, Andrew, your family, and all your loved ones, all the best in the future.
My husband had GBS several years ago, for the 2nd time in his life. He was paralyzed from the chest down, but was fortunate to recover enough to come home after 6 weeks. He has some damage to his legs, but recovered 95%. I cried watching your story; and am so glad you had a full recovery!
Wow! I have never heard of this before. What a wicked syndrome! The deterioration you fought back out of was like a resurrection. I was shocked that you did not give up. I think I would have given up. When getting as sick as you did, it would be easy to think you could not get better. Please tell us how you remained hopeful enough to keep trying. My favorite saying: "You never fail if you don't stop trying." Well done Andrew!
Shame on me for ever complaining about a single thing.
God bless you.
Same I complain at a cold and look at Andrew he came such a long way bless him 💙😍
I feel like awful for every saying anything bad about life, watching this videos makes me realize how much worse I could have it and to thank god for letting me be healthy and happy and be able to sleep in a bed in a nice home
Same here.
That was his life. You can complain about your life if you want to without regrets.
Tiffany Ortiz Me too!
I'm so glad you've recovered. My sister couldn't get out of cardiac arrest and died Guillain-Barré Syndrome the age of 20. I send you a hug and many blessings from Guadalajara, Mexico.
Ah. Bless you and your family. I'm so very sorry.
My dearest condolescences to you

I'm speechless!!!!! This is one of the most important thing I've seen in my life. The power of the human spirit, the power of faith, the power of family, the power of love!!!!!
The power of a space after a comma!!!!!!!

Amen!!!
LINDA Burnette Amen, Linda!!!
I'm going through this now
Wanita Meeks how are you now
@@keelinmorris2115 Good morning and thanks for asking.
How are you doing, Lani? 😍
Lani Macho, Please keep us updated!
I’m walking without any assistive devices, can drive and climb a few stairs. My walk still looks like a toddler because I had tendon contractures after being unable to love my legs and feet. Still in Pat and have definitely seen progress. It’s a long road.
You will be!
You got this💪
I love your story . Gog bless
If I have never seen a miracle, I have now. Andrew, you are an amazing inspiration.
andrew I am a 11 year old girl and to see this it made me cry and just say there is surtin people in this world that are just ment to be and u are one of those people I have never seen such a inspirational story u just changed my life stay, with god and everything will be ok u are my inspiration for life and I will never ever forget about u and your story

What an amazing story! Congrats young man! God is good!
Crazy
Ikr
Andrew you repaid everyone that sacraficed, By not giving up the fight!
What a beautiful way of putting it. You are totally right. As a mother, I think all his mother wanted was for him to fight, the rest was up to GOD!
That’s right you truly are a beacon of hope❤️
Today is my 54th bday.. and i watched this video...THE BEST PRESENT EVER.. GOD BLESS YOU ANDREW....
What an amazing journey.. Thank you for great documentation..
This amazing story of Andrew proves that with strong will and belief we can win anything.
May God bless him and his family and fiance.
my son went through this, he is now a healthy father of two, thank you God!!!
And thanks to his medical team
Can you share your story with me? I'm a nurse who cared for someone who had this illness. He died last year. This illness has no cure and it's always progressing, so if your son has been cured, it's a miracle
Thanks to the doctors.

Well, there's nothing like a 30 minute cry to get things in perspective!!! God bless you Andrew! Your story has really blessed us! 😊 So many tears of sadness followed by so many tears of joy!!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful story!
I came across this by God-incidence. What a truly inspiring story. Praise God that His ways are not the same as ours.
I was in icu with pulmonary blood clots. Depending on someone for everything is tough. Pain and afraid to sleep . Thank God for your recovery.
@@edwinleach7401 ...many years ago, about 30, I also was in hospital with pulmonary blood clots. My faithful fellow Christian sisters drove 60+ miles to come and lay hands on me and pray. Doctors were astounded the next day when the blood clots were gone.
In 2009 I was 7 weeks pregnant I'm diagnosed with GBS I was the only known case to have it during my first trimester three months in the hospital I'm 5 weeks and rehab I walked out of the hospital me and the baby are happy and healthy now in 2020 my little girl is almost ten and is doing great I think the Lord everyday for bringing us through it
🙏🏿
My daughter also had GBS in the first trimester. This was 2003. Doctors advised her to terminate the pregnancy. She did not Cierra is now 20 years old.
In 1985-86 I to had GBS and also pregnant, I to was advised to terminate my pregnancy, I refused. My now 38 year son is wonderful and blessed me with 2 absolutely beautiful grand-daughters. Was anyone else diagnosed with GBS ever told that they could never receive the flu shot or does anyone have any long lasting side effects ?
My Mama broke her hip a week ago yesterday. She is in rehab. I showed her this video. We were both Sqwaling! You have inspired a little old Lady to get off her ass and to moving. Thanks for sharing your story Son! It is inspiring Ole Miss fans you will probably never meet.
I am beyond being silenced with amazement - what an inspiration - such perseverance.
This was a very brave young man and full of determination to get back his life and a very loyal family and girlfriend that was a very inspiring video
When I get down or start to feel sorry for myself I watch this video . What an inspiration . What a man of God .
I do the same
I just saw it for the first time right now, but I promise you that the next time I feel the urge to feel sorry for myself or/and complain, I will watch it again or at least remember such courage, valor, discipline, endurance, love and determination.
May GOD bless y'all beautiful people always and in all ways❣🙏
I had GBS too! 2019 End of December 5 days before my wedding! I was in the Ventilator for 1 whole month! Thank God I survived within 2-3 months ♥️

Watching the video reminded me of how my brother (MAY HE REST IN PEACE) deteriorated within a week and passed on from GBS. Being a medic in a third world country I knew we would do nothing to save him though we did the IVIG'S. It pained me to my core, Andrew is a real inspiration.
I am incredibly sad for the tragic loss of your brother may he rest in peace.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I am a nursing student and I stumbled on this video. I started crying at 3 minutes and didn't stop until the end. You are the reason I am going to be a nurse, to make a difference. I'm looking foward to sharing your story with others in school. I was diagnosed with GBS on August 30th, 2016 and now I am happy to report that I am back in action as a professional ballet dancer. The path of diagnosis, care and rehab were challenging, but (as you well know) it is worlds better with family and friend by your side. May God bless you.

I'd bet money he was recently VACCINATED. PLEASE PLEASE be a good doctor and see the damage those POISONS DO.

Bless you for your recovery. You are so correct when you say that is a family illness . We had a family friend who had it and it was horrifying to watch what they went through .
I cried watching this video! God is great! Miracles DO happen everyday! So happy for you!!!
He is great. He made his recovery possible. Hard work & not giving up with the support of a great family.
Keep the faith, I hope your mom is doing better. Praying for you and your mom.
AMEN!
@@nezface1091 Thank you so much. Prayers are always appreciated more than I can express. It has definitely been a journey, but we’re making progress every day. I posted a more specific update in a comment below. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for your kind words. 🙏🏻🖤
my mom had this and she was on ventilation for over a week... she got better and she is so strong... I got married this year and she did everything herself...god bless you
That's so good to hear . Wish you a happy marriage . Take care

What an awesome, inspirational story and thru it all, a smile on your face all the way. God bless you Andrew!
Beautiful love story! I saw love and God's amazing power in every segment of your story, Andrew. It was a wonderful testament to your strength and faith. You should write a book about this chapter of your life. God bless you, your fiancée/wife, family, and all those who helped in your recovery. ❤🙏
You are such an inspiration. I’m in tears I really needed to see this today. God is so good! May the lord continue to bless you and your family!
What a long and painful journey it has taken, surrounded warmly by his unwavering loved ones, who today make Andrew a survivor and an even better man to appreciate the life and wonders of this world. Long live him, long live him! Kiss from France
Andrew, I don't even know what to say - - - the unbelievable odds that you have overcome are beyond any words I could find that could possibly do it justice. I spent 10 years in the United States Army and have seen some absolutely incredible people overcome odds I thought were impossible - - - yours young man top any and all I have seen thus far. I am 47 years old and probably old enough to be your father and I have to tell you; you have inspired me beyond measure. I'm not sure how I came across this video but I sure am glad that I did. You are incredibly strong and determined - - - I thank you for your service to your community as you serve them as a firefighter - - - As you know, God is good ALL THE TIME and ALL THE TIME God IS GOOD!!! Praise him; bless you and God bless your soon to be wife and your entire family! If I ever have the opportunity to meet you in person I would consider myself the luckiest man in the world! Be safe as you continue your career - - - YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO MANY, MANY PEOPLE!!!! Gary Dietz II, Massillon, Ohio!
you are one BadAss Andrew...a True Survivor & HERO to others to not give up...Amazing story SO HAPPY you got thru this horrible illness
This proves he's always with us!
ISO MY USA
Me too. 😢
Masters Degree must've helped... whoah
God is faithful..this just made me realize that it's the little things in life we take for granted
True that. Praise God

My dad had this. I am so sorry you had to go through this. All I would say is fully support your immune nutrition now, having been on so much medication. You look great. God bless.
I was diagnosed with GBS about the same time. Turns out they had it wrong. I wasn't surprised as my paralysis was only a couple weeks. Mine was finally diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome. There is no cure but I find this video very inspirational and I was afraid of a bad ending. God Bless him. Still a young man with a full life ahead of him.
This is incredible. Wow Andrew and the family, you guys just shine. The first song says so much “if I tell you my story…it’s to tell of Him.” I see that! So beautiful. Thank you.
What an awesome testament to strength, courage, and faith. Our God is an awesome God. This was truly a blessing to watch, Andrew. :)
Andrew your story was an amazing journey. My heart sank as you went from bad to worse and spent so much time in ICU! It was amazing when things started to improve and then therapy was awesomeness! My Son is a Captain in the Charlotte Fire Department and all your brothers, everywhere, are so proud to have you on their team. As are all the parents too. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. You are an inspiration and thank you for sharing your inspirational story and journey to full recovery. Here's to a Hero👍🏻
This was a real tear jerker. You are an amazing inspiration. God bless you young man. The lord said your work was not yet finished. I’m so glad you are doing so well.
Since i start to watch this video i couldn’t’ stop crying but as more i watched more i understood that Andrew is a warrior. He won a big battle God bless you always Andrew .
WOW Andrew this is amazing!! Your story is very touching and encouraging. I sincerely wish you all the best in life. God bless you and your family. Stay strong!!!
Thank you for sharing your story! My husband just fought GBS and kicked its ass this winter!!! Truly a miracle! We are all extremely blessed! Here’s to a long healthy life with your fiancé!
Tears..Of joy. Being a mom of losing five children, three to suicide, one to an accidental overdose and one to an accidental strangulation and my husband in a car accident this was uplifting. 💕 Thank you.
You must be putting one foot in front of the other with difficulty, I am so sorry
My thoughts and prayers are with you. My God give you strength and you feel the love of those around you .
WTF
RIP
I don’t know what to say, but wanted to let you know how devastating that is to read. As a mother of 3, I can’t imagine what you’re going through 😔
I think I just witnessed a miracle!

This is a very touching story. Your attitude throughout everything is commendable! This made me cry. Your recovery is quite amazing!
Same your not the only one 💙😍
@@meganwilkinson6779 👍👍👍😍
Wow...amazing...I'm overwhelmed ...so happy for you and your family ❤
