I'm revisiting these episodes after hearing them on Spotify to make the work day more tolerable. Dude, I'm so glad this can be viewed and not just heard! I'm losing it over the pooping story and actually seeing the reactions! 😂😂😂😂
God, I love this show so much! Sean is one of the nicest, most sincere guys in the horror community, Christopher is an amazingly talented, cool, and very laidback guy; and then Robert is awesome... he is just so humble and genuine. He could write a bestseller with those stories!
Thanks to Robert Rusler for appearing on the show. Awesome interview and I really enjoyed all the stories! I also wanted to say that Weird Science was one of my absolute favorite films as a kid and I still love it to this day. I used to watch it all the time as a young kid in the 80s. I’ll never forget the scene when Mr. Rusler enters the house party and the way he says, “How you doing? How you doing?” You really added something special to that movie, Robert.
It brings me tremendous joy to listen to the both of you. I get all my little cool tidbits of info about all this stuff I grew up with , plus I get to vent through all of the same frustrations that you guys share as weird as that sounds. It's just so very cool to know that I'm going to be hearing from guys like Fred Dekker also & the like. Just brimming with excitement guys. Thank you so very much for this awesome escape.
Grady died well in a Nightnare On Elm Street Part 2. The gore wasn't spectacular as the usual nightmare fare but you gotta admit he died like a champ. Can listen to Robert talk all day. The amount of stories from his film hey day and growing up in and around Hollywood were just too cool for school man. And a great guy to boot. A hearty thank you
I loved the Steve Dash challenge coin! I remember a friend of mine years ago who was in the military telling me that if you and your buddies went into a bar, and someone called for a challenge everyone had to put their challenge coins on the bar. If someone didn't have their coin on them they had to buy a round of beers. If everyone had their coins on them, though, then the person that called the challenge had to buy the round of beers.
This made my day. Alongside Forever Midnight, this ties as my favorite podcast. You guys are both amazing and hearing stories from the amazing Robert Rusler was so cool. Salem’s Lot that tobe Hooper directed is my favorite film of all time. I was five when it premiered on CBS television in 1979 and it absolutely terrified me. I am curious if either of you are fans? Keep up the amazing work. Best to you and your families
I was lucky enough to have met Geotge A. Romero twice. I met him for the first time at the Rock And Shock convention in 2005. I stood in line for an hour and a half with a bad back but I was so overcome with adrenaline that I couldn't feel that much pain. Romero was supercool. The second time was also at Rock And Shock in 2015. That year I went with a friend who hadn't met Romero. Once again he was really cool.
These podcast are great. Congrats to the both of you (and Robert as a guest). I wish you could see the trickle down effect these podcast cause, in a slew of pop culture text messages between my friends and I. Your talks spur many-a-conversation. THANK YOU. Listening to you all, is like hanging out with friends talking shop. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to many more in this series. Take care.
Gotta love Rusler! Great storyteller. I remember in the 80s, Weird Science, Vamp, Nightmare 2, or Thrashin' was always on somewhere, so kind of grew up watching this guyn He's a dead ringer for Elias Koteas here!
You guys are making me feel old, sorta. I was born in '78. So I watched all this stuff on re-runs. You guys are doing a great job. Thanks Sean and Chris.
@@christophernelson6571 i enjoy watching. I told my 9yr daughter who you were and we are planning on watching Halloween 2018 so I can show her in the movie who you are. She's excited.
Loving the podcast!! Thanks for the tip on the Halloween shirt. I’m now just leaving Walmart and they were almost sold out. Keep up the great work guys!! Roberts stories are amazing
Another awesome episode,my guess is that the actress in the pooping story would be none other than Kelly Lebrock! Would love to see Robert in another episode BUT.....Nick Castle if there's anyway you could ask him what was HIS favorite scene to film in the original HALLOWEEN ! Keep up the great work guys.
Love the podcast! Thank you for all the HHG uploads. It's been great to rewatch them all. Some I've not seen. Would have loved to have seen a Salem's Lot episode.
Maybe I'm just seeing things, but it seems I can see the effort Sean puts into editing these shows. To keep a good pace without looking edited. I see the hard work bro.
Yes, the Halloween 25th Con was a big deal! At the time, I had no idea that you were one of the guys who organized it--but I was starting out in writing and had been talking to (the late) Phil Nutman, and he convinced me and my wife to come out for the con to meet him and everybody else. My wife and I were newly married and it was our first time to L.A. I was starstruck by all the people there, the passion, and getting to meet and talk writing with Phil. Also meeting Stef Hutchinson led to me later working with him behind-the-scenes on the Halloween Comics for a time. VERY eventful weekend for me, on personal and professional level. Very special time that I think of often. So thank you, Sean, for doing that!
malfuncsean dude that’s rad!! Ya man I’m looking forward to their new record whenever the best time to release it is for them. I guess they are working with terry date again which is exciting

Best way to keep Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster supple. (1). Place in a Ziplock Bag. (2). Cover him or it when stored. (3.) Keep the temperature about 60 to 70 degrees. (4). Apply pure silicone oil 2 times a year. TRIVIA: Denys Fisher Incredible Hulk (1979) This figure used the original molds and graphics without permission, and was due to a lawsuit from Kenner in 1980.
Cracking stuff. Guest after Robert Rusler have got a lot to live up too! The Last Starfighter is bigger than Star Wars for me so question for Nick, what is the issue with A the original actually being released on digital formats around the world and B a sequel actually being made?

That RDjr story is one of the best I’ve ever heard. 😂

The actress was Renee Props and it's a story both her and RDJ have talked about in the past (RDJ told it on Howard Stern too).
John Saxon- My Mom's a Wearwolf.

Loving the background Chris. 🤘🏽
Legends! Could listen to Rusler tell stories all day long, hope you guys have him back soon! 🙌
Love it! Awesome stories. And I agree with everything you all said about 'Halloween' '78.
I first became familiar with Rustler with "Sometimes they come back. That movie was a staple of my household. Would love to catch him at Horrorhound.
Loving this show you guys!!! Greetings from Belfast, Ireland. Just rewatched Elm Street 2 last night. Still my second favourite out of the franchise.
Awesome episodes. Love your podcast. Keep up the great work. I look forward to new and amazing episodes.

Indeed what Sean said. Thanks for watching!

Another great episode guys, the only thing missing was an appearance by Beaker. Congrats my fellow Husky boys!
If we could land Cat Chow or Meow Mix as a paid sponsor I'd be all about it. Otherwise I'm good.
Maybe I'm just seeing things, but it seems I can see the effort Sean puts into editing these shows. To keep a good pace without looking edited. I see the hard work bro.
Robert Rusler.......if he's been in it, I've seen it!!! 'Vamp' one of the best vampire movies made that didn't get near enough credit!! 😍😍

That's awesome. Man, "last December". The world certainly changed a lot since then...
That was an amazing episode
Big thanks to the Bingster!

You three should do a commentary for Nightmare 2, that would be amazing.

Keeping with the theme of the next episode, will Kyle Richards ever do a convention?

Andrew Thompson Well the interview has already been recorded but we covered The Last Starfighter pretty well.
Okay - I'll come out as one of two people who like "Elm Street 2" - the other is Rusler
I would've shit myself after the Manson story. I would've ran away from that shit!
Here's a question. Do you guys like to read and what are you're favorite books?
So sick to see Bruce the 🦈 before Jaws.

Not yet at least. There are many topics we haven't tackled.
