I fully concur with your focus on the process, instead of goal. I teach my students to set a goal(vision) but then look backwards from the goal in order to get their and create your process(mission). Vision without mission is a pipe dream. I can want something all day long, but if I don't get my ass of the couch and do something about it.....
xwhite2020 i was looking for you to explain your comment. How is winning not a result? Winning appears to me to be an outcome that happens as a result of good processes.
xwhite2020. This is one of my favorite talks and I rewatch it occasionally. Not being critical of talk. I agree with your infallible comment. Do you think it is one sentence wrong? I am looking for an explanation because I am open to being wrong of my above 9 months ago and am always willing to learn and grow.
Brett, Fantastic job! I teach Leadership at Berkeley, and my students turned me on to this video for good reason.
Keep the great stuff coming!
Dan
one of the best Ted Talks I have seen. Nice job! Very inspiring.
I got so much out of this! Focus on the present and the process! That is where success is found. Thank you for this amazing learning experience.
Excellent presentation! Great content & great delivery

+Dan Morrison great comment... thanks!
That was awesome! Love the 6% improvement: incremental improvement leads to massive improvement eventually!
God damn it. This video doesn't help being a Zags fan. They just did the same thing in the tourney the other day against syracuse too.
You lost me on the last sentence that "Winning is not a result; Winning is a process driven by character."
+Andrew Joyce Everyone is not infallible. One sentence wrong simply means he is just like us. It's a fantastic talk.
