My miniature schnauzer, Diesel, has parvo. He has went through this for a few days now. He is currently resting, but hes groaning in pain and breathing hard. He seems to be asleep, but wont move any part of his body. We have gave him sub q ringers fluid injections, pedialyte, and gave him some soft sore-stomach-friendly foods, but he is still in bad condition. To be such a wonderfully loved family dog, we dont want to lose him. Thank you, Doctor Sam, for your wise words. You've given us hope.
I noticed my 2 year old pitbull got parvo when she stopped eating and had bloody stool. I immediately called the animal hospital but when they told me the tests alone would cost me $200 plus the treatment wich was $1,000+ I knew I couldn't afford it. I just looked at her and knew she was suffering all I could do was give her a hug and said I'm sorry. But her will was strong over the next 4 days I would give her water and nothing else. She got to a point were she was so weak I didn't want her to walk so I carried her from my bed to the yard so she could use the bathroom. By now all that came out was water and blood with a really foul smell. On day 5 and 6 I made her chicken broth wich she drank and immediately saw a boost in her energy and on day 7 I decided to to try solid food and made her a steak wich I cut into small pieces and fed it to her little by little. Now she's back to normal and I appreciate every day with her even more.
my dog is also suffering as same...doctor said to observe for 5 days...i am also thinking if not cured..we are deciding to give meat..to my dog... alot...
One of my puppies just died from the parvovirus 1 or 2 hours ago. She could've survived if treatment wasn't so freaking expensive! I'm gonna miss her. She was only 5 months old.
MrJangofett66 Australia the vet demand $1000 up front before they do anything I wonder how many are responsible for people committing suicide because they lost a pet they cared and possibly had as a sariget to fill the void cause they couldn't have children
Dr. Meisler thank you so much for this educational video. Other videos seemed to minimize the seriousness and graphic nature of this disease. I will be sharing this to help spread awareness.
My baby girl is on her way home now after spending 3 days away being treated. She made what the vet called a "Miracle come back" as well as "extremely quick". It costs us $1500 for this, but worth every penny!!
My mom's dog died from this today. She didn't have the money to pay for the treatment and the vet refused payment plans. I sat with him for hours using a syringe to give him Pedialyte. I've been a bad owner have not yet gotten my own dog vaccinated, but I am tomorrow first thing. I'm terrified that my dog will get this or already has this, but this man's words have given me hope. I never want to see another dog suffer the way my mother's dog has. He was the sweetest dog and didn't deserve this.
Wow... my puppy, not even a full dog, just got put down 8-14-13 7:06pm and hearing this made me freaking cry... I had a good day today and I had to hear this... I barely had my puppy for 5 weeks, she was so young and my only friend since everyone at school treats me like crap... now I have no one left, I lost my dad and uncle who was my father figure... wow, just wow...
My labrador named Lucky passed on at 0055 on 22 dec 2016. He was barely 6 months old. To all the dog owners out there, please love your dog because people like me are not given the chance to.
April 25,2014 my dog die at 2:40a.m. From parvo disease. rest in peace Bella will miss you so much, you was a part of this family for a very very long time. thank you for you happiness, will miss you..
My boy died today from parvo. He was up to date with his vaccines. The vet told me it would be around $3000 to treat him. RIP Dozer. Im sorry I couldnt help you. You will be missed. Good boy...
Wew that's why I don't like going on a vet they always makes money on you. But luckily I found a parvo cure that is so effective that it will only take 1-3 days and it's free.
My vet is treating my baby right now. Some of these prices y’all are talking about is unreal. My vet is charging me between 200.00 to 400.00. Thank God I have a great vet and my Molly is getting better.
I hope my dog makes it thru this shit man, no money for vet bills has me doing home treatments that are probably not even helping, if he survives he'd easily be the toughest dog I ever had given what he has already been thru
great video!! My boxer was diagnosed with parvo virus when he was 35 days old. I thank my vet for saving my dog. it is really a deadly disease.and expensive totreat as well. plz dont miss vaccinating ur dog..
My Dog rottweiler died yesterday because of parvo, i done what i have, going to vet, giving infusion. He was only 3 months... We love you Denny. Rest in Peace
Helena Glisic sorry for your loss But can you tell me some symptoms you saw in your dog because I have a 4 month Rottweiler and he threw up last night and has had diarrhea
Hello all I’m here to help anyone that has a animal that has the parvovirus the first thing you want to get is colloidal silver 5cc every hour along with activated charcoal 3 grams per pint and syringe feed your pet...you will see improvement in a day but keep treating them for at least 5 days hope this helps God bless and I will pray for your pets...🙏🏾😀🙏🏾
Thanks for uploading this, it was really helpful to know what we're up against. My girlfriend and I reside in Vietnam, where we recently bought a healthy looking puppy off the street, 3 days after purchase the dog started showing these very same symptoms. We've taken it to the vet numerous times and treatment is on the way. We have found out that dogs sold at street vendors have been infected with parvo, and that they inject their dogs with steroids to falsify any impression of sickness.
My dog has parvo right now, his name is Balon the treatment is costing me about $16.00 each vet visit (i live in Mexicali Mexico) I took my dog for his second visit this morning and got more fluids via iv and some shots. The doctor told me to let the fluid finish (more likely tomorrow morning) and let the dog rest. Try to give him baby food (Gerber) and water and see his reaction. I'm taking Balon to the vet first think Saturday morning. And I'm with you on that is time consuming, and messy
@TheJude02 we use pedialyte. The main point is that the fluids should be mildly hypotonic (like a molarity of 200 milliosmoles) and not hypertonic (ex. gatorade). Merci!
my 5 month old lab survived at home ttreatment of parvo. we were told she had very little chance of survival and to make things comfy for her. i gave her an at home iv, amoxicyllin shots, pedialyte, and syrup on her gums to help her blood sugar. i expect everyone to fight for their dog like this... dont give up.
We had to put our husky down because of parvo this morning. The vet couldn't take him in until he was showing any signs of improvement. My parents sat up with him two nights in a row hand feeding him elector lights. But it just wasn't enough and they had to make the call this morning so he wouldn't be in any more pain. Please be careful everyone. This is a horrible thing for any dog to go through. We are all so very heart broken we just couldn't save him
@WalkersWonderland Parvo tests usually come up negative during early stages. It is best you get your ve tot treat him as soon as possible, if you havent done so already. You have my prayers.
My dog today named Zeus died today in the evening from the parvo disease and I cried he was so innocent and didn't deserve it before he died he was barking like it was hurting him real badly and in the end he just closed his eyes and was twitching and puke everywhere my family started to cry it makes me mad that no one has found a cure for it >:( one day I will find the cure and help every dog I can't think I can't do anything know just cause he's dead I'm so depressed I wish I took the deceased and died for him I wish he lived I didn't want him to die in front of me :'(
I just lost a 9 month old pup today, I started noticing some odd behaviour around 3 days ago. I took him to the vet yesterday because his condition wasn't getting any better, they said the treatment would cost me 1,300+ dollars, i can't afford it obviously. I didn't know what parvo was or if such sickness existed till yesterday. :( I still have 5 pups and hoping that none of them have it. 🤞🤞🤞
I’m so glad you mentioned that getting a vaccine late can cause it. I had my puppy’s first shot at 7 weeks I was supposed to go back at 11 weeks and basically life got in the way and I was a little under a month late my appointment was for May 11th and on the first of June my puppy was diagnosed with Parvo.
It is of much debate of whether to feed any kind of food; I personally would stick just to pedialyte. The concern is that food will not be absorbed anyway and that it will act like a sponge to remove even more fluids from the bloodstream across the diseased intestinal wall. Pedialyte is hypoosmolar so it will be absorbed better; for other readers, definitely don't use gatorade. Let us all know how it turns out. Thanks, Sam
My Fiance found a puppy outside her clinic that tested positive for Parvo. We treated the puppy at home. The poor fella could not stand or move, he was barely alive. We gave him pedialite, an IV and various medications for vomit, antibiotics and pain. One week later he was up and walking, two weeks he is running around the garden like a regular puppy. We have called him Victor as he was victorious and although we planned to put him up for adoption, we're not so sure thats going to happen.
Hi I just got a puppy a week ago and the 3rd day he started to vomit and had dierria so I took him to a vet and was told he had parvo virus its been 4days now and still not feeling well u think he will get better I got him from some guy who was on the street who has no license to sell dogs so guys plz make sure u check them out by a vet right away I don't regret it buying him I'm very happy I got him and hope he makes it out of it to come back home so I can give him a better life then were he w
I had a little puppy. he was only 4 months. He go the parvo disease. at first I thought he was just plain old sick. But when i took him into the vet he was seizing and they had to put him down. Im posting this on UA-cam because i want to show that not all dog can get lucky
You should hand-feed the pedialyte with a spoon but do not force feed. Feed him such that the fluid can spill out of his mouth rather than go down his throat the wrong way. Parvo dogs can be so out of it that you can easily cause an aspiration pneumonia. Also, let him sleep just make sure that he moves position every few hours. Usually parvo takes a five day course and then several days to recuperate afterwards.
My 3 month old pitbull puppie died of parvo this tuesday...im a 21 year old man and i cried like a baby when he died in front of me, he was like a brother to me. r.i.p. petey

Sorry for my late reply i have no time setting here in my computer for couple of days because i was busy watching and taking care of my puppy..well my dog was able to survive hes in good condition now.. He's back on his feet now ..
Our dog Trixie and Teddy had the virus. Trixie died yesterday and the Teddy is about to die today. Poor dogs. The virus was so deadly: Day 1 : loss of appetite and diarrhea, Day 2: bloody stool Day 3: weakness Day 4: cant stand up / died. RIP Trixie and Teddy.
That is true because I just adopted a 3 month wire fox terrier three days ago. On the third day he was diagnosed with Parvo, I know he did receive his vaccine on that monday I picked him up, so, I know it was still within the 2 week period.
My family's dog, Violet, died from parvo July 31st this year. She was only about 6 months old. We never heard of parvo until we took her to the vet. First day she threw up, the next day she threw up more and had diarrhea with blood. We went to the vet and they gave us what we needed with little direction. We did what we could with the medicine and pedialyte. She threw it all up that night and we tried again, but the next morning she got worse and she ended up dying. I feel if we have had known and had treated it more quickly, there would've been a better chance of her surviving. I hated seeing her suffer and watching her die.. Please vaccinate your dogs.
my little pug 'pugsly'" has parvo right now. we are on his second day of treatment and the little soldier seems to be coming back around. i cant wait for him to get better.
my 6 month old Rottweiler died from this bastard virus 3 weeks ago and he started showing symptoms 7 days after his last Parvo vaccination... I feel so fucked up everyday and mad at everything especially myself for not even knowing he had parvo right away I could have saved him myself if I knew what I know now... The last time he was in my arms I gave him up to the vet the next day he was dying in a cold metal cage when I saw him there dying words could not describe how shitty I felt .. nightmare come true and everyday I wake up and realize he's not there anymore like a bad dream that's real
2 days ago my 7 mons maltipoo died from parvo and bow his brother is battling too, we are trying to do everything to save him, pls tell us ur experience and options what the best things to do to save my pup, thank you you so much!
I bought a 2 month old puppy yesterday and he has parvo but I think I caught it pretty early. He puked once, cried all morning, and started hiding and I immediately took him to the vet. So I paid the vet her fee and I had some questions. I thought it was odd that the vet let me take him home instead of staying over night? But anyway, you know what you're talking about, my vet told me not to let him drink anything. Which doesn't make sense to me? She pumped him full of fluids, I need to take him back tomorrow so she can give him vitamins, then the next day for antibiotics. So basically my question is, should I still try to make him drink water/pedilight? I actually have amoxicillin trihydrate tablets from my moms dog, she dropped em off at my house today. Should I start making him drink pedilight with the tablets ground up in the water? I'd appreciate a quick reply since parvo strikes fast and I'd like to increase my puppy's chances as much as I can. Thank you!
hi first off let me say that i hope your puppy survived this heartbreaking disease, We live on an acre of land with no fences our first female was spayed and an adult when we moved to the country so when my daughters lab became pregnant with another lab we were so excited to have a place where they could run and play until we found good homes for them so when the first puppy got sick we knew this was something different much worse than we could have ever imagined PARVO. and that was the beginning of the end for all the puppies they were just getting old enough for their first shots when this happened. when we learned she was pregnant again we did everything we could to clean the areas inside and out they had their first set of shots and for awhile we thought we had won they were 21/2- 3 months old when the first one got sick. 2 out of 8 made it the male my bear bear never got sick and his sister Harley was treated with antibiotics for a cut to her ear before the others got sick and a female chocolate that seemed ok. Harley got sick and so we put her in a travel pen outside with water and i gave her pedilite with a syringe anti vomit pills 1 to 2 times a day and after about a week she started to improve and made a full recovery then the other female {Rosie i called her} got sick we did the same treatment to rosie as with harley but she didnt make an effort to try and drink the water we put in a shallow pan for easy access harley not only made an effort to drink but also laid in the pan and stayed in contact with the water the whole time. Sadlie rosie didn't make it. we have taken two puppies from different litters to our vet one survived and one didn't even tho she showed signs of getting better. I am very supprised that your vet said no liquids? Our vet said the oppiset and with all the back and forth trips u r making to get the meds and such each day maybe having your pup stay their for acoupl of nights with antibiotic and fluid thru an IV so its continuelly into her system. that way what ever needs to b done can b with constant supervision. and we were able to set up a payment plan with our vet. I didn't mean to take over this page but i really was touched by your story and it sounded like your vet was not accurate on some of his advice to you. If your pup made it then he did do something right and i believe that some pups have astronger immune system than others which may give them that extra edge against the virus. I hope some of this was helpful in the long run if you have a puppy[ies] that get sick all you can do is try sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. Good luck M.Prince Texas
My puppy is in the pet hospital for this parvo virus,he looks so weak and sad,it hurts my heart cuz I love him.I hope that he survives this and feels better, and because treatment is expensive too.
My Girlfriends Shitzu Puppy Just died from Parvo this morning She came home from work and her puppy was acting abnormal.. it started vomited and later it was secreting diahorea with blood I researched and found it was Parvo and it was Fatal It was already 12am so there were no Vets open, not even a 24/7 emergency Vet.. So i told her to stay with her in the morning and send her to a Vet as soon as she could Unfortunately she didn't make it.. She died in her arms R.I.P, you were always loved....
my dog is still in the hospital for about 6 days almost a week for having infected by parvo virus and i was so sad to see my dog suffer by the disease, my heart is broken seeing my best friend in a critical condition could my dog survive this disease? ohh God bless my dog Rusty..just expressing my self..
@zeppelin5000 yeah... mine has it.. not severe, I took him early... I've learned it's better to pay a couple hundred in vet visits to keep him up to date, than 6 to 8 hundred to treat it.
my great dane puppy reya has is one booster shot away from being fully vaccinated.. yesterday she thru up twice, today she diarrhea 5 times since, but hasnt vomitted since... she seems to be less active as well.. i have switched her food from taste of the wild food to performatrin so i expected some diarrhea, but the inactivity is what is concerning me... its been about 20 hours since her energy decline.. she did still run around with me when i got home but she sleeps once i stop
i have a jack russel terrier/poodle mix and he started showing symptoms three days ago...luckily he could hold down the pedialyte i gave him orally every hour.plus PARVAID every four hours. today he just got up and decided to start eating/drinking like nothing happened! .we didnt let him continue though, it was cat food lol. we got him some soft bland food to eat. it took a lot of hard work but luckily he seems to have made it through.
I am terribly horribly sorry for the passing of anyone's dog due to this virus. It is devastating and heartbreaking. For those of you that are unable to take your pets to the vet, I am truly sorry that they're having to suffer this. However, there is no home remedy that is guaranteed to work. Taking them to the vet does not guarantee their survival. As the doctor mentioned at the beginning of the video it is a very aggressive and fatal disease. Keep in mind it is excruciatingly painful for the dog as well. It is selfish and cruel to keep your dog lingering in pain and suffering in order for you to experiment with treatments.THERE'S NO CURE. Prevention is key. Remember part of being a responsible pet owner is being able to financially provide the proper care for your fur baby. Pet insurance is available and extremely helpful in cases of emergency. Also, having any type of pet is a privilege and not a right. Every dog needs a home, but not every home deserves a dog. They require a total and complete commitment of your time, finances and emotions. I'm not mad. I just care. Much love and dog bless💗🐶🐾🙏🏼
I found a litter of puppies. The runt died she was about 2 weeks old, I think part might of been parvo but I think the other was birth defect, cause she was blind. The 2nd one she died when she was only 7 weeks old, which I'm sure it was parvo, she had the runs but not the vomit. She went fast, one day she was fine and dandy, playful as she can be, the next day she got sick so fast, she was limp, couldn't move, just layed there. 2 days later she died. And NOW the 3rd pup she's barely 2 months old, I got her, her first parvo shot but she still got it! So the vet told me to not get her shots till she's over it. I don't have the money to take them to the vet. I google it and I've been giving her pedialite, water, chicken broth, and today she finally takes some food in. I didn't give her much. thing is she hasn't had bloody runs at all, she only vomited twice. She's drinking on her own, I don't have to feed it to her. This is the 3rd day. So since the parvo eats away inside, then doesn't that mean they can't go poop? I noticed she hasn't had a vowel movement in 2 days. She's going pee just fine. I am hoping and praying she makes it. Some one dropped a littler of 5 puppies on the side of the road and I taken them all in. 2 of them has a new home I found for them and they're doing great. But my little cinnamon is fighting right now for her life. She has shown progress, so hopefully she'll make it. She's barely 2 months old. And another thing I don't get I have the mother too and she hasn't even gotten sick at all.
At 1:10 you mention a bleachy smell < this is exactly how I described the noticed strong smell early into our 4 year old King Charles Spaniel unwell condition of not eating, she later began to pass dark blood/diarrhea; she died within 36 hours of these onset conditions (vomiting/retching also) despite an apparent 'negative' Parvo test being carried out by the vet. What else could cause her to pass dark blood bleachy-smelling diarrhea plz? We feel at a total loss losing our Ruby - rip beautiful girl xxx
Chaz Walker that smell will never leave you either. You know it as soon as it’s there. We are currently treating a parvo puppy right now and he’s not doing so well even with treatment and it’s so intensive.
I don't know if my Rott mixed puppy has parvo. One died this morning but there weren't any signs, she was just thin. Now another one looks sick but she doesn't have diarrhea and she vomited once, and barely eats. Help?!
My 7 week old pitbull just got parvo a couple days ago. I spent an hour last might giving him pedialyte, when I got up this morning to feed him again I couldn't find him. I spent at least 2 hours searching around my yard and crawled around under my house but found no sign of him :(
my pup has parvo and where doing home treatment for her, she is no longer able to hold down oral fluids and our vet gave us metoclopramide to help with vomitting, but i have read that it hurts them more than helps, and even after i give her that, she still throws everything back up. my vet told me not to do this, but i read somewhere that you can give an enema untill they can keep fluids down orally. please, what is your opinion on this?
@BUDDHAMANE I'm not a vet... so i don't know.. but after giving my dog two shots from tractor supply with no prevention (he got parvo) and the vet telling me it's probably not the best quality of shot (yes, he could have been convincing me to spend money with him), I'm willing to bet the vet is a better way to go. Actually the vet i visit now has "take home" shots available that are about the same price as those I used to buy (cheap).. this way, your also ensuring a quality vaccine..
i would like to let you guys know, that you should not look for blood in the vomit or diarhea. if your dog is not vomiting or pooping blood, that does not mean they dont have parvo. my dog was not, and it was too late before when we learned she had parvo. if your dog is vomiting 3+ times a day and acting very unlike itsself, you need to take it to the vet
My poor dog had all these symptoms but finally recovered after being put on antibiotics and given nausea medication, we really thought he would die because he was vomiting so much and defecating jello-like bloody stool that smelled terrible!! He also had a fever, the vet never diagnosed him with parvo virus he just stated there was a dog flu going around, so even though i thought the worse, he did recover
my poor lucky dide from that a couple hours ago.. she was only about 4-month..we barried her in the yard i cant believe this happened im soo sad it hurts ):
My puppy is 4 months old and i notice he started last night, i started to investigate...and now i know its parvovirus. ive done some research and in walmart the have the treatment for $13. i hope it works ill keep everyone updated...prayers for my puppy! the vet is charging over 1K!
My 5 month old yellow lab has parvo, i can't afford the stay in hospitalized because it is very expensive but i got him the first shot. im heartbroken and don't know what to do
losing a mate that shared you alot of pure feelings with no hatred oneday , the most loyal ,, finally he dies and he thinks he got enough of u and ur friendship after he trusted us and we could never help him when death knocks his door trying to tell him that his pure , innocent short life has came to an end :( :( he'll just leave u go on through ur life while he gets eaten by earth insects and u'll easily buy another dog as life won't stop for his death ( i mean human generally )
@alvincupcake some say lemon water- that makes sense to me, British sailors were called "Limeys" (look up limey on wikipedia's website) because they used the alkaline ph benefits of lemon juice (better than lime) to prevent scurvy
Today is the first day of Parvo for my 3 months old puppy, I took him to the vet and he gave him antibiotics and antibodies and some fluids, any help would be appreciated please.
Our vet told us that our puppy was parvo-free but he has been getting even worse so when we went in again today it turned out he did have parvo. We think it may have been caused by the animal control center where he was being held in so he could get neutered. He was perfectly fine up until then.
hi doc last nov 18 to 23 ,2012,3 of my 8month old rott ,volt mello and strike died in parvo but we give them all they need we spend 2,400k usd but still died do parvo victims needed blood transfusion .....thank u
Cannabis oil treats Parvo. Enough to make them sleep and externally warm their body if they are shivering and do not have the energy to make body heat, even under blankets.. 100% success rate. Have not lost a dog yet.
hi Dr Meisler i have a question for you i know puppies get Parvo but does kittens because this weekend we had 2 kittens to died one died friday and the other died yesterday and my main concern is that i have a female cat that is a little over a year old and she had her 2nd litter a week ago yesterday i am worried that these kittens would be exposed to it i know a couple weeks those 2 kittens that just died had a bad case of diarrhea but i thought it was something they ate

One of my puppies just died from the parvovirus 1 or 2 hours ago. She could've survived if treatment wasn't so freaking expensive! I'm gonna miss her. She was only 5 months old.
MrJangofett66 omg im sorry about your puppy:((
MrJangofett66 Australia the vet demand $1000 up front before they do anything

same to me💔
A vet on UA-cam! This is where we should be going!
My condolences...a very heart-breaking disease.
My mom's dog died from this today. She didn't have the money to pay for the treatment and the vet refused payment plans. I sat with him for hours using a syringe to give him Pedialyte. My dog passed away today from this virus RIP GIA you will always be in my heart baby girl

Good boy...
Thats why i gave up having pets. It costs so much if they get sick and you don't have to worry about the grief.
Wew that's why I don't like going on a vet they always makes money on you. But luckily I found a parvo cure that is so effective that it will only take 1-3 days and it's free.
Leah Janulgue what cure?
It's a herbal plant that only grows on warm areas.
Leah Janulgue i live in a kinda warm area and she's always smelling grass and stuff like that like she's looking for something...
I thank my vet for saving my dog. it is really a deadly disease.and expensive totreat as well. plz dont miss vaccinating ur dog..
thanks for the info my dog had to be put to sleep because of parvo i am sad it was today thank you for letting people know about that damn parvo virus
Today is day one of my dog Roger . We are trying all we can.
Bryan Salas did he make it?
My Dog rottweiler died yesterday because of parvo, i done what i have, going to vet, giving infusion. He was only 3 months... We love you Denny. Rest in Peace
Helena Glisic sorry for your loss
But can you tell me some symptoms you saw in your dog because I have a 4 month Rottweiler and he threw up last night and has had diarrhea
Hello all I’m here to help anyone that has a animal that has the parvovirus the first thing you want to get is colloidal silver 5cc every hour along with activated charcoal 3 grams per pint and syringe feed your pet...you will see improvement in a day but keep treating them for at least 5 days hope this helps God bless and I will pray for your pets...🙏🏾😀🙏🏾
my rottweiler died too 6 months
This information was really helpfull Thank u very much Dr Sam
My dog today named Zeus died today in the evening from the parvo disease and I cried he was so innocent and didn't deserve it before he died he was barking like it was hurting him real badly and in the end he just closed his eyes and was twitching and puke everywhere my family started to cry it makes me mad that no one has found a cure for it >:( one day I will find the cure and help every dog I can't think I can't do anything know just cause he's dead I'm so depressed I wish I took the deceased and died for him I wish he lived I didn't want him to die in front of me :'(
Did you find a cure? Sorry about your dog...mine has it now
Soo sorry im going through this now she is on 4 days in hospital and its costing an arm and a leg!! but will do anything I can!!
Ana Calzadilla-Thank you.
Thank u very much Dr vet for Sherring the information with us all......we all need to know about viruses out there ....thank u
yes, definitely keep him inside - the less stress from outside elements the better.
The vaccine could have cause the parvo too vaccines lower the body's immune system
Yes, there is. Our 14 week old puppy was current on all vaccinations, and he is fighting Parvo at this very moment...
Thanks, Sam
I just got back from the vet today. Can you do a video on why it's soo damn expensive?! I can't even afford to find out what's wrong with her!!!!
Tiffany Kooper b cause theres very few vets out there so they jack the price up.
THE COLLOIDAL SILVER kills any virus or parvovirus.
Usually parvo takes a five day course and then several days to recuperate afterwards.
very helpful.. thank you
Very informative! Thank you. :)
My 3 month old pitbull puppie died of parvo this tuesday...im a 21 year old man and i cried like a baby when he died in front of me, he was like a brother to me.
r.i.p. petey

GREAT VIDEO.....
Sorry for my late reply i have no time setting here in my computer for couple of days because i was busy watching and taking care of my puppy..well my dog was able to survive hes in good condition now.. He's back on his feet now ..
how is your dog now?? is he fine?
Did he get better?
No, Since he's not replying.
my 6 month old Rottweiler died from this bastard virus 3 weeks ago and he started showing symptoms 7 days after his last Parvo vaccination...
@WeFoundAtlantis It's a very tough merciless disease...Thank you for your comment. Dr Sam
2 days ago my 7 mons maltipoo died from parvo and bow his brother is battling too, we are trying to do everything to save him, pls tell us ur experience and options what the best things to do to save my pup, thank you you so much!
thanks for this video. it saves the lives of my six beagle puppies. i gave9 them amoxicilin drops and pedialyte
My 5 month old dog got this virus... He's a mix of chow chow and shih tzu breed. I hope he gets better soon...
There's no hope my brother's dog died just now because of the virus
my dog got released last week after two weeks in the vet. I literally thought he was gonna die.. But my condolences to you. This disease is the worst
@@pvrc1030 does he survive?? Pls answer b/c my dog has it i dont want him to die😭😭
@@colabang5931 yes he did survive. He was at the vet for two weeks when he got the virus. I hope your dog survives too.
@@pvrc1030 TY for your reply and specially your concern😊😊 btw he is shih tzu too😊
My puppy is in the pet hospital for this parvo virus,he looks so weak and sad,it hurts my heart cuz I love him.I hope that he survives this and feels better, and because treatment is expensive too.
Parvovirus is really serious some puppies/dogs can't survive
My Girlfriends Shitzu Puppy Just died from Parvo this morning
She came home from work and her puppy was acting abnormal.. it started vomited and later it was secreting diahorea with blood
I researched and found it was Parvo and it was Fatal
It was already 12am so there were no Vets open, not even a 24/7 emergency Vet..
So i told her to stay with her in the morning and send her to a Vet as soon as she could
Unfortunately she didn't make it..
She died in her arms
R.I.P, you were always loved....
I'm grateful to the vet I have it's only costing me 650$ to treat my dog
I missed my boy Maxx Lab :((( he passed away last 2 days , i missed her !
my dog is still in the hospital for about 6 days almost a week for having infected by parvo virus and i was so sad to see my dog suffer by the disease, my heart is broken seeing my best friend in a critical condition could my dog survive this disease? ohh God bless my dog Rusty..just expressing my self..
How much would a week of vet hospitalization cost?
Just found out my dog has this...we're doing everything we can to try and take care of her
try parvaid and vibactra plus combo,I know Im a little late... Did she make it?
Much love and dog bless💗🐶🐾🙏🏼
how long is the incubation period for parvo in puppies...
And another thing I don't get I have the mother too and she hasn't even gotten sick at all.
my puppy didnt make it he just past away today RIP kai i love u buddy
I had a dog die this morning because of this... Rest In Peace Juno...😭😭
(RIP) OKIE she died of parvovirus 10/1/09 at 4:00pm I miss her sooo much she was a maltese.. 3 month old pup.. : (
@BUDDHAMANE I'm not a vet... so i don't know.. but after giving my dog two shots from tractor supply with no prevention (he got parvo) and the vet telling me it's probably not the best quality of shot (yes, he could have been convincing me to spend money with him), I'm willing to bet the vet is a better way to go.
Thanks for your help my dog is doing the same thing
Thanks
Oh thank god🙇♂️ i hope mg dog recover with that virus i need prayer his name is asher
my poor lucky dide from that a couple hours ago.. she was only about 4-month..we barried her in the yard i cant believe this happened im soo sad it hurts ):
6 years ago my pup died of parvo and heartworms . Rip spyki 😭
My puppy is 4 months old and i notice he started last night, i started to investigate...and now i know its parvovirus. ive done some research and in walmart the have the treatment for $13. i hope it works ill keep everyone updated...prayers for my puppy! the vet is charging over 1K!
JP CORAZON DE BACHATA hi, how did it went?
Any update on how the treatment worked?
What dog breeds are most tolerant parvo virus
@alvincupcake some say lemon water- that makes sense to me, British sailors were called "Limeys" (look up limey on wikipedia's website) because they used the alkaline ph benefits of lemon juice (better than lime) to prevent scurvy
I lost 6 puppies (3 rottweiler and 3 GSD) to parvovirus. The vet couldn't rescue them, sadly.
@Aceregi yeah , unfortunately a most expensive lesson :S
@pookbone1 Did you finish the vaccine series? One vaccination will not fully protect them.
hi Dr Meisler i have a question for you i know puppies get Parvo but does kittens because this weekend we had 2 kittens to died one died friday and the other died yesterday and my main concern is that i have a female cat that is a little over a year old and she had her 2nd litter a week ago yesterday i am worried that these kittens would be exposed to it i know a couple weeks those 2 kittens that just died had a bad case of diarrhea but i thought it was something they ate
