- I'm unaware of any mobile tracked chipper larger or more capable of processing brutal logs than this machine. The old CBI 8400 may be up there but I've never seen them run any material this large.
Vermeer, Bandit Beast, Diamond Z, Morbark, Peterson, CBI, Tigercat, Precision Husky, Universal Refiner, John Deere, CAT, Bobcat, Mack, Peterbilt, Edge, Color Biotics, McCloskey. Bandit whole tree chipper, wood chipper machine, doppstadt, Edge Innovate, Barford, analytics, shredder.
Good equipment but is something broken on the grapple ( spinning..) or is the operator bored/playful?
I wasn't running the knuckle boom in this video but as a practice, we spun the logs 360 intentionally to do a quick glance for metal like cables or big bolts. It isn't full proof but helped find and prevent big stuff from knocking out the knives

The CBI 6400CT is a very similar size. Can be optioned with the C32 and chipper drum. CAT power gets work done!
Yes the 6400 is an awesome machine from everything I've seen.
The Beast is the only grinder that I know of that you can make mulch or chips just by changing some hardware. You don't have to change the mill out like on other grinders.
