Why is shindaiwa not used much by landscapers and mowing companies?.. all I see them use is redmax, echo, stihl... my best trimmer I ever had was a shindaiwa.. still runs to this day... and my dad had it when I was a little kid. I’m 30 and it still starts on first pull. But on another note if y’all want to send me a red hoodie like his I’d be more than happy to rep the merch! And a backpack blower too 😎
My company uses about 15 Shindaiwa products from string trimmers to blowers and hedge trimmers. Never had one break on a job. They are used daily and heavy commercial use.
Primo Landscaping glad to see someone else using them I never see any companies use them anymore. I’ve worked with my buddies company since I was 16 and he still has both trimmers and blowers and still uses them to this day. They’re so beastly. (T282 trimmers) they’re so old and faded but I choose them over his new one anyday
@@KJfreshh69 I hear you. I still have a 15 year old 270 powerbroom. Thing won't die. Out of curiosity where do you live? I am in Ottawa Ontario and there are lots of maintenance companies who use Shindaiwa. We do have good distribution and dealers here which helps a lot.
Primo Landscaping I’m in Nashville Tennessee. People out here are all about redmax and stihl here, I have echo cuz I can’t find any shindaiwa places close. When I have they say I shouldn’t buy it
@@KJfreshh69 That's weird that the Echo dealer won't sell Shindaiwa as well. Every Echo dealer here is also a Shindaiwa dealer. I have several Echo tools as well and no complaints. 2 hc 150 with over 7 years of service and my favorite backpack blower 770t.
Good video. We sell all power equipment at the shop I work at and this is very good stuff. I have seen Red Max go from # 1 to junk. The back pack blowers go through pistons. The do not hold up. We do warranty work on them. The Red Max people are changing over now.
Nah bro Redmax is the best and Echo is awesome too like what’s the point of even getting shindaiwa these days when you can just get echo because shindaiwa is nothing but a crappy knockoff of echo these days
I have a BR 600 and its roughly the same CFM. It does struggle in heavy leaves. The Stihl BR 600 is very smooth and quite compared to the Redmax EBZ 8500. Also it's not a gas hog. I love both blowers.
My school has a couple of the top Shindy backpacks (i think they are the 802s but not sure). they will literally blow anything, anywhere! waaaayyy too powerful for me but perfect for the school ;D
+kakarot Yeah probably I really don't know I don't have any Echo stuff either cause as I said there is basically nowhere you can get it here but I do know the BR600 is near the top of the "powerful backpacks" list and the BR700 is a bit more powerful than the 600
I swear that EB212 is literally a copy of the Echo pb200 from the 1990s only it’s red instead of white lol but honestly I don’t really care because I don’t like Shindaiwa, but I love echo, always go with the original stuff, not the copy or knockoff stuff
It's a nice leaf blower but my friend had one and I guess she didn't know what on earth she was doing and she destroyed her mother's car by covering her car in dust and other things and I guess she was in serious and deep trouble and on extremely thin ice I would choose Red Max Blower because my uncle has one
These blowers flopped in every shop that sold them. Can’t put them next to a redmax or echo, both of which have great reputations and expect them to be the preferred Choice. Priceing was also at the same point as the other two so it just never made any sense.
That’s because people don’t realize shindwaia is a superior commercial product, at least when compared to echo. I can’t speak for redmax, but I’m a stihl person.
Bro Shindaiwa is literally nothing but a crappy knockoff of echo these days so what’s the point of getting shindaiwa when you can just get echo lol plus every landscaper that I see in my neighborhood uses Echo,Redmax Stihl or Husqvarna, Iv never seen a single one of them use Shindaiwa
“Shindaiwas gotcha covered” lol this guy is making it look like Shindaiwa is the best brand out there when it’s actually not, Echo, Stihl, Redmax, Husqvarna and a few other Japanese brands are a whole lot better and speaking of that The Shindaiwas that are made these days aren’t even made in Japan anymore they are made in china now lol
EB 802 is a good backpack blower
Love my blower she is a beast
Why you have a broom in the car

Cool video, I would personally get a Redmax Blower though.
The Shindaiwa has a bigger engine therefore it has a larger fan and will blow more air.
Not at all it's a 4mix engine not a true 2 stroke. The Max CFM of this blower is 722. And the Redmax EBZ 8500 CFM is 908!!!
True. The 802 is a 2 stroke and it's lighter than the RedMax. I don't really see the RedMax much in my area. Have you tried the 802 yet?
Sure the CFM may be lower but you can't say it's weak if you've never tried one.

+kakarot Yeah I know the EBZ8500 will beat anything but god its loud! Also PB770 beating the EB802?? not too sure about that one......
+kakarot Not sure I think so. Echo is basically nonexistent here in Australia so I use pretty much all Stihl stuff.

Nice backpack blowers, but RedMax is more powerful.
