It's amazing what you and your friends have achieved within 18 months, especially when you consider that you also installed new floors in two wings of the chateau from the basement to the roof and restored an entire garden to its former glory. Chapeau and my deepest respect for.
It doesn't seem like it's been that long but I have been watching and even the videos he had landscaping the French ladies property, they came for a dinner in the chateau before the roofs were all finished
I watched his very first vlog in the little cottage he built an IKEA kitchen did his first arches on the island....he's come a long way since then, I never dreamt when he showed us round the abandoned chateau he would eventually buy it, he is a real 21st century pioneer, I just hope I'm alive to see him move in. 😊😊😊😊
I'm one of the diehard viewers been here since the first episode and will enjoy till the day I see Dan sitting in his recliner with dogs by his feet inside a warm tastefully decorated room looking out the window at the view thinking to himself ah life is good and they thought I couldn't do it with a big smile on his face. Well done Dan and team Dan. The chateau is showing her beauty so much more.
I have watched from the beginning, and I will be here tomorrow and all the days to come. What you have accomplished here is just amazing! Great Team work! Congratulations 👍
I don’t think one realizes the amazing power of resources Dan had to put together in order to get the renovation just at the level it is at this point. To be honest I’m still shocked Dan was able to reach this level so fast.
@@jlotoo850 Yes that would be a logical explanation but then I would have still expected him to show his face every once in a while or to come and give a hand when needed ?
2024 is the year Chamont became a building again and has risen from the ashes. What a journey of 820 videos (I’ve seen all) whereby Dan became a dad x 2, a UA-cam phenom and videographer extraordinaire, and now a legendary chateau resurrector. Can’t wait for 2025 and what’ll happen within Chamont🎉🎉🎉
I have watched every episode held my breath and cheered every accomplishment. Dan is superhuman. Thank God Nick Brian and occasionally Calvin mr. Orange pants have helped. Congratulations Dan it is nothing short of miraculous. 😊 the château is getting her dignity back everyday you work on it with your vision. Well done . Well done😊🎉

Oh my goodness, It's been so long since I've seen the chateau without a roof I'd almost forgotten how far you guys have come. Thanks for the reminder Dan! Keep up all the hard work.
This video brought tears of joy to me. Wow, to watch it all in one video is amazing. I've loved watching it transform. I officially placed Dan 's ornament from last year on our tree. Who else purchased one last year? I love it.
It is shocking to remember how alone you were at the beginning. Thank goodness for Nick and Brian. Fantastic achievement! Disturbing to think that was 18months ago!

Nope. Not so, and Dan, it was enjoyable watching the whole process again, a little quicker than the original blood sweat and tears version, but what a magnificent accomplishment, and congratulations once again, to all of you for making it happen. 👍👍
@ Yes, he’s been working with an engineer and architect, but as far as I remember, the actual roof structures were from the photos of the chateau before the fire, there were no drawings of the original building to be had including the roofs, just using some of what remained of the walls showing where the beams and other parts were at when it was built. If you can point me to the video where Dan talked about the original plans he had for the roof, I’ll watch it again.
Oh the memories, was here from the start and was amazed what you could do alone. Now with two loyal hard workers. And there is always the rain, wind, snow to work in.
