    I built a similar bike a few years back, pushing about 14kw. The area I rode was very hilly, hubsinks and oil filled motor makes a huge difference, otherwise motor heat is a major issue at these power levels. Also higher voltage makes delivering that power easier, I ran 140v at 100 amps :) but I would recommend it safety wise :) I've ridden motorcross and I have to say the pickup on a setup like this is in the same territory, if not faster. I actually speed capped my bike to around 50kmh as on dirt trails on let's face it a pushbike punching 80kmh on pushbike brakes gets sketchy. I was always overheating the front disc and I was using regen on the back.

    • @jestronixhanderson9898
      @jestronixhanderson9898 5 років тому +1

      B Curtis - I run 14kw peak through the mxus :). It can be done with big phase wires , but 5 to 10 second squirts and your probably dumping 4 kw into heat.

      @@jestronixhanderson9898 Ahh, yeah. I see. Can you use the regular 72 volt controllers at 100+ volts?

    • @jestronixhanderson9898
      @jestronixhanderson9898 5 років тому +1

      B Curtis - nah u have to look for ones , mine had upgraded FETs and caps, the caps let me go to 150v , I now have a quiet sinewave one with same volts but around 10kw, to be honest 10kw is nicer. I run a 26" wheel to so next build will be moto rim.

    • @eyeballengineering7007
      @eyeballengineering7007 5 років тому +1

      @@jestronixhanderson9898 I wonder if you can just buy heavy duty amplifier FET's and swap them in easily. Is it the rated max voltage of the caps that is a problem? sparking problems? I would expect the load to be the same with upgraded voltage.

    Hey Ladi, great videos. I have one of these on order and am having doubts. If you don't mind I have a few questions:
    1. How is the suspension with the QS273 V3, particularly the rear since it's such a heavy motor? Is it really hard to drive and steer why that giant gyroscope on the back?
    2. I have seen in some forums that QS273 V3 motor is weak at the axle and it has snapped on people because it puts so much torque out in that little 10mm flat axle bolt, not too mention the thin dropouts. Do you worry about this?
    3. What controller are you running? I ordered the 200A Sabvoton, was hoping to crank more power out of the 49AH Panasonic battery.
    Thanks!

      @@ladiandmargaret Kde to můžu koupit zkompletovaný, koukal jsem že poláci to nabízejí za 6 - 11,5k euro s názvem ebike venom mají to super, ale 300 000Kč za to nedám, to už je moc, to už je lepší motorka za 100 a zbytek mám na benzín. Pak jsem se díval na alibabu, tak je cena OK kolem 3000euro, ale zase mám strach, co by mi došlo poštou, jestli by vůbec něco došlo. Takže kdyby si měl něco na prodej, vzal bych to od tebe, sice mi je jasný, že jsi na tom neudělal nic záslužného, jen sis to objednal z číny, takže mi není jasné co tady plácáte o ručičkách, ale je mi to fuk, měl bych jistotu, že za svoje peníze něco dostanu. Tak jestli budeš mít něco na prodej, dej mi vědět, vzal bych to.

    the bike itself is expensive but considering all other aspects surrounding a form of transportation, anything electric like this safes plenty of money
    NO LICENSE (u safe money by not having to deal with all that process)
    NO INSURANCE
    NO FUCKIN GAS
    NO WAITING IN TRAFFIC LIKE A SHMUCK
    and really the price of this bike is still not absurd. its undeniably expensive but for what u get, for wat it can do for u, id say its still worth it

    Hello
    I bought a high power ebike like this and yes they are expensive but i use mine to go to work on everyday and iam saved £600 in 5 months not using the car..so you will get you money back in the end..

      Because it looks like a dirt bike without pedals. And it's annoyingly loud, less mileage, more maintenance due to the chain drive. Also I doubt it even has a bluetooth enabled fully programmable controller, in order to limit the power to street legal ebike specs and unlimit when offroading, or set the power limits for max torque or max range. And most of all it's 3x the price. If I wanted a dirt bike I'd rather just get the Sur Ron FireFly, much better value.
