- In todays #shorts video I show how easy your SRT, Mopar, Dodge, Charger, challenger, hellcat can be stolen and how you can stop with the neutral plate covers from @Destroyer1320
#hellcat #cartheft
The best thing to stop a thief and recover your car is to just get a GPS. That way, you and your gun can go hunting.
My neighbor just tracked down a guy who stole his car with gps . I can’t say what happened but they went 10 deep looking for the car
Facts... Ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun
Sounds like a good way to recover a stolen vehicle
@@Justice098 what happened
Just make sure no one knows your plan or what happened cause the govt values their life over your property🥴🙄😒

Best way to keep it from getting stolen is to have a motion turret with a MASSIVE reel of ammo
Lol
@TKsGarage Trackhawk LTE GPS kill switch is best product on the market hands down. I can literally disable my car from my phone. Not tied to my key fob at all. I'm getting plate this week for the double whammy. You won't be able to start or roll.
My state only allows my turret 10 bullets :c
Or maybe dodge could catch up with GM and ford and actually put some money into the anti theft system instead of giving the same exact car more horsepower every year
They know their market. It’s not that hard to make these things nearly impossible to steal
Dodge does not care. Because F you thats why
but then it wouldn’t be fun
You can literally steal a Tesla with an iPad. no tech is safe from breaching in 2023
Not much catching up, if you have the right tools gm and ford are just as easy. Gm might take 10-12 minutes, but half the time ford you don't even have to wait that long. Buy some aftermarket keys and get a cheap programmer.
That’s why I have my ignition switch disguised as a windshield wiper button 😂
That’s funny because mine is right under the hood release 😂
Lmaooo that’s funny cause my was in my glove department 😂
That’s FUNNY AS SHI , I disguised mine as the volume button on the steering wheel
That's funny as all the shiiii cus mine is disguised as the window switch on the rear door
That’s Funny because i dont even have a car to hide my ignition🥲
Best way to prevent your car from being stolen is installing a train horn alarm for when the car is broken into at anytime and they shit their pants and run away crying for mama
Or an immobiliser..
That would not work bitch tits
Car still starts though
@@kiefydoinks they could just push it a block or 2 away so u cant hear...
@@orion.clipss bro it’s a train horn you gonna hear that shit from a few miles away in the distance a couple blocks is like it’s right next to you
I’m getting a metal plate and kill switch put on mine with motion sensor lights surrounding the garage for the stars of the show. And you can also have a play date with my Rottweiler, Belgian Malinois, and Cane Corsos and 12 gauge if that doesn’t work I got a 60 round drum and a Draco for the cherry on top 🤣🤣Dont attempt to take my SRT.

@Sage Opheim are you mentally stable
As a mechanic, we have two GPS trackers also has to kill switches relocated, the OB2 connector and disconnected the neutral safety just on the safe side. I remove the fuel pump relay.😂👍 garage kept
Muchfools dont k about that one trick i usually use it so i wont have to drive people around for free lol
@@hellcatredeye-g6582 sad people have todo that man. I'll get one one of these days but not until i get a garage.
They did this so they’re easy to repo😭😭
😂
Add a kill switch that goes to the fuel pump n a air tag
It's called a shift lock release and nearly every car has it so no matter what brand of car you have it can be stolen this way. Now as far as the OBDII and the reprogramming it to start I don't know enough to talk about that but either way anyone's car can be put into neutral using a shift lock release.
Finally someone actually saying SOMETHING
Easy all you have to do is put a screw driver in the shift lock release button area press down gently which will then release the shift stick so you can go in nuetral with any car dawg it’s crazy
Mhm, my pops taught me that when we were changing out my g37x radiator fan🤝
I read all these comments but i havent seen anyone mention a quick disconnect steering wheel..i havent even seen one in a mopar yet either, that stopped my old car from gettong stolen
That’s a great idea
Damn TK. Haven't seen your videos in a while and brother your wisdom is showing! God bless ya brother
Starter interrupt switch. That's how you prevent it. This stuff is easy. If they can't find the starter wire disconnect they ain't cranking it.
@@dalemllns Better cut the fuel pump or they just push start it
Except for dragging it onto a flat bed or stripping it bare where it sits, its less easy now. Apple AirTag, Carlock, Kill switch, Faraday bag for all key fobs, program a third key fob and get the RF module disabled, Steel neutral lever cover with security screws, brake pedal lock. That will at least slow them down.
Thanks for the info. Me and a few buddies are gonna go buy a hellcat now
Thanks so much this was so inspirational. This is what I needed in my life now I own like 5 hellcats at 16!!
@@thereal_jtg9044 so
I got the trackhawk gps killswitch. They will not be able to steal my car unless they have a flatbed. I'm getting the strap this week. Killswitch is not in the car but wired to engine directly and they can't use ODB port because it won't do shit! They can roll down driveway and that's it.
Anyone else put kill switches in their cars?
A Daytona, little paddle shifters, SRT on the steering wheel, 160 on the dash. What the hell is going on with that car. Gotta be an RT or Scat pack
Lol
its an RT that someone decided to invest retarded amounts of money into it
@@mjkeidljr8379what not to do with a car
@@1kingv nope thts actually a good investment cuz with 20k u can make an r/t faster if not as fast as a hellcat and ur still paying less🤷♂️
@@carloslois1788 you can’t make an RT reliable and as fast as a cat for 20k. you either get one or the other for 20k. lmao
The dealership obviously wanted it to be easy to steal and it’s a fast car. Its smart business move actually, cause more ppl will still be drawn to buy even more of their cars
Just pull out the ignition relay fuse from the fuse box every time you park…
Will this mess your car up
@@tdubb1993babii that’s a good question. Will it Kyle?
Seems like the solution would be to move/remove the neutral strap perhaps to the trunk. Wouldn't be to hard for these car companies to develop an App that tells you where your cars is or even alert you if the door gets opened.
Thx for the help just stole a hellcat last night had a blast!! 10/10 tutorial
Already have the strap cover. Need someone to post the route the wire runs from the ignition relay in the trunk to the start/stop button. Need a kill switch not spliced directly behind the button.
It’s actually insane it’s that easy to steal a 100k car.. 😮 I bet insurance prices for them cats high as shit 😂😂
Yeah like $700 to $1200 a month in insurance if you're a 20 year old male in colorado
@@Slayer2000 damnn
Great thanks for showing the rest of them that didn't know how to do it thanks for showing them
2 points to make here:
1: not defending dodge because they make it too easy not needing ANY tools, but almost every modern vehicle has a neutral switch like dodges, the only difference is you need a screwdriver or some other tool to get it. but it isn’t a special tool or anything, usually a philips.
2: kill switches people! preferably 2, a kind of obvious one, like a switch under the dash, and a really hidden one, like your visor mirror cover has to be in a certain position, or wire a blank switch to look like an oem switch that does something like turn on a light bar, but you also have to be holding it down to start the car. something obscure. the more the better.
These guys are still in cars with technology now. So an old-school hidden cut off switch or one that works with an app. And a good old Club w works. The club is to stop them from busting your window to get in your car to only find out that your ignition has been disabled.
Thank you for the video. You give folks hope in getting a car for a bargain
Pedal locks wheel lock and that new steering lock you never seen before 😂
kill switch, yeah they can steal your car by pulling the neutral strap but they cant start it and to my knowledge the reprogramming wont work because the kill switch completely kills everything
Buy another OBD2 port and put it in place of the current one, except it’s not wired in. Leave the original under the dash so that it can be pulled down when needed.
Thanks , now I definitely won’t park next to any one of those cars. People always assume the worst even if they aren’t being looked at
thx for the tut bro😈
When you understand it's all about pushing people out of their desireable properties it all makes sense
I super glued mine down 😂
You can program a new remote on most 2018ish Chrysler products in less than a minute. Jump in your friends car with the key for your 2018 ram truck, and press button, program new key fob remote, and drive away. Any push button vehicle with a touch screen pretty much. I do it at the car lot I work for like 6 times a day to move cars, no searching for keys just program a new one. Vehicle must be unlocked for this to work tho. Try it, it works.
Now is the insurance for them gone go up or will insurance company gone not cover them like Kia
Hey thanks for this! I’m about to go get my new car tonight 🙏
Appreciate it, bro. I’m Finna. Get free hellcats tracks.
thx man just looking for advices
The little red strap you have to keep holding up it won’t stay up. And if you have updated software it’ll be a lot harder to get into the system with the OBD
Thanks for showing the product
srt steering wheel and Daytona seats on a RT is crazy
Rts come with the Daytona package but yeah that srt steering wheel is iffy if you don’t have an srt 392 or hellcat
@@GloomToon the RT comes with daytona package but not seats
@@mjkeidljr8379 it really doesn’t come with the Daytona seats? I thought that was part of the package? Or is that a Daytona 392 or hellcat Daytona exclusive?
The Daytonas do come with those seats even with RTs. I just built one on dodges website
Much love and support from Boston ❤ 🙏🏻
does this also work for track hawks because I might want to reconsider my vehicle of choice if that is true?
I cut the red strap off. Used 2 different security screws for the neutral lever steel cover.
Shit like this makes me glad I drive the Benz those cars are based on.
The only difference is, my key absolutely HAS to be in the ignition for the car to go into neutral there is no little pull switch to pop it in neutral.
Thanks for the info searched this up when I saw a nice wide body next to me
This is why I like cars with fusible links. No need to remove the battery or have any fancy stuff to prevent theft. Just open the hood, go to the fuse box, pull out the fusible links and take them with you. Doesn’t matter if they manage to find a way to steal your car, they’ll never be able to start that shit. You could probably even rig something up for any car to use them.
This doesn’t mess up programming?
@@TheRoadLessChosen not on a car like mine.

Think about it this way my grandpas 17 f150 has this same thing my old Cruze had this feature just not a lever it had a punch out where u push down and u can move the gearshift my 5.7 charger has it but I disconnected that shit lol just hoping I never have to get it in neutral with a dead battery but any car can be very easily stolen it’s just the cars that are targeted no ones safe
Wish I seen this video 3 Fridays ago 😔 woke up for work and my Jeep SRT was gone! 🤬
Ouch I know the feeling
Love the part he showed us the replacement plate that stops all this
When I had a Hellcat, I would pull the fuel pump relay. It's in the trunk.
No best theft lock is. A throttle killer device. It work when the car keys are not in rang. The car will start but u can’t rev it
Every car has this. Not just dodges. And yes it is just a plastic tab that blocks off latch to the actual interior.
Thanks for showing me 🤝🏾😊😁
Alsooooooooo get a dummy OBD
They will even have a harder time trying to program a key😂😂
Thx 👍🏾 I'll try tonight 😊
That’s just the shift lock. If you were to crash and for some reason you weren’t able to put the car in gear, you can pull that to force it into neutral and have it towed. Happens on the track sometimes.
Mine wouldn’t even go into neutral. Have no idea what they did to it.
Just remove your car battery every time you go anywhere problem solved 😂
Actually you arnt being crazy, that’s what I do but I don’t remove it I just leave a wrench back there and at night I disconnect the battery lmao Thieves are too stupid to check that I bet not to mention the battery’s in the trunk

that shits in my benz too, i dont have a cool strap but theres a button under the cup holder lets me put my car into neutral while off
What a hero …..
pov u own a durango
Or you do something that will keep it from being started . A well hidden but easily accessible kill switch will take care of that.😮
2:41 in the morning and I watch this shit now I feel sick because my challenger is out front R.I.P cuz i jus needa fucking garage… shits fucked up how these are gettin copped literally left and right, and when youre not on the best side of town with no where to park but the curb, that keeps me up at night 😒
Yeah it sucks I know how you feel
Best way is drive a manual car. Very few people can drive a stick shift and everyone who can knows they will stall the car many times. Probably panic and ride the cluch not knowing what gear is what, burn the cluch out and once those clutch plates fail its game over to move that car any place. Manual cars are the least stolen cars of all.
Yes I've seen a video where this happened and the kids got out of the car and left it😂
Happened to me on New Years broke into my Mopar only to find out it was a manual and left it right alone in the parking lot. Although my passenger window wasn’t safe and on the ground the car was still there.
@Skonky even a high power car will stall if you jump from 1st gear no gas to top gear no gas. It's going to be ugly but the car will stall
@Nick C4 last thing a car thief wants to do is learn to drive manual when committing a crime. Not to mention, try and outrun a cop while shifting up or down braking working a clutch and handbrake all at the same time . Caught jailed in less than 60 seconds
@DatBariWitDaHemi it pays to know how to really drive a car. Put a person in a manual who has never driven one is comical . Put a manual driver in an automatic they can drive it but will be annoyed the car is shifting when they don't want it too
What about a deleting the neutral strap and have windows you can’t break or roll down and dead bolts for your doors or idk have dodge actually make a good car that isn’t just good at one thing 😮
I figured itd be hard to steal a newer vehicle/getting away with it because of the amount of GPS tracking & all the new tech, wild
Nice thanks
Jus get a kill switched ❤
“They dun said, deuces!”
They have this thing where it disables the peddle so you can start the car but it won’t pull off
If i owned a charger or challenger id put a note in that compartment that says “GPS TRACKED” or “GPS INSIDE CAR” etc. But with how easy it is to steal most ppl stealing them are probably not sophisticated or intelligent enough to even care or process how stealing a car with a GPS will get them arrested
“Duces” 😂
Why is the speedometer so low? Only goes up to 160 when it should be what, 220 for a hellcat?

My car was stolen and recovered. When I went to pick it up the lever was pulled. But I couldn’t push it or move it. I had no power in the car. No lights. Zero. Might be the ELECTRONIC module sensor but I don’t know. Any ideas? It seemed like it disconnected. They reprogrammed keys I guess but took them after blowing out the tires.

If he ever has an issue that requires his mechanic to access that, he can certainly expect to pay more to have it removed and then re-weld it in place afterwards. That being said, the peace of mind is worth it imo.
@@bleachstain9785 rather pay more money to stop it from being stolen then have it stolen with ease

srt steerin wheel on a 5.7 is crazy
Cordless grinder cut that shit off bad investment 😂😂
I’ve heard the reasoning behind this described as a safety feature? But if your car’s mangled I don’t see the use for getting the transmission into neutral after you’ve become one with another vehicle or a light pole
Very true
It's moreso for when you lose all power to the vehicle and you need to get it towed without damaging it. It's called a shift lock release.
I understand back up measures for the actual owners for rare occasions, but thats sad. They need to figure out something else to at least make it more difficult for stealing (not the owners).
deserves a sub 👍
