Regarding neighborhoods, you didn't mention Kiawah River (not to be confused with KR Estates). It's a 2,000+ acre former plantation with multi-million dollar homes, working farms, and the 5-star Dunlin hotel is set to open on the property this summer. It is considered an "agrihood", with a focus on environmental preservation and community waterfront access rather than golf and private docks. Freshfields Village is located in the town of Kiawah Island, but is geologically located on Seabrook. And the town hall for Kiawah Island is actually located on the south end of Johns Island, not on Kiawah.
