I wanted Raanta to get the shutout so bad when I was watching it, he made at least 5 saves that nobody expected him to make, but he made them anyway. The canes crowd was awesome too as i was watching it, I was booing marchand too

Raanta actually looked pretty good this game
He's a really solid backup goalie, too bad he's too injury prone to be a reliable starter
He's one of the most technically sound goalkeepers in the league. Not flashy but he's solid.
If the Canes can be this disciplined and this strong on their PP opportunities in Boston, they'll finish it out there.
I don't understand how ESPN keeps putting this color guy on these games. "Let me tell ya, this was a fantastic save by Swayman. I know they scored a goal right after, but what a save. Some guy on Carolina scored, but that Swayman really was something else. Bergeron has been magnificent. The perfection line is great, oh there's another goal by the other team, Cassidy is a genius for putting this line back together. Anyway, how can you not love these Bruins? They're everything hockey is supposed to be, immaculate. There's yet another goal by the other team but let me tell you how amazing the Bruins are. Really fantastic stuff, and this is exactly how they're going to take this series." At least Steve Levy knew the names of the Carolina players.
Because the colour guy is Ray Ferraro? A former NHL player that has been doing colour commentary for NHL games and International hockey for nearly 20 years.

@@JP-pr9re Understanding I have ears and at least a spotty memory, I knew his name (but didn't know he played with the Whalers, probably explains why he is so biased), I can't tell if you're agreeing with my point or not. I'll assume you are since it's basically impossible to not notice how incredibly biased the commentary is for Boston.
And I get it, an original 6 team with a ton of history, I expect it somewhat, but this is really bad.

@@trvman1 I'm definitely not counting them out. They've proven that they can definitely win this series if they play their game right. However, the same can be said for the Canes. In the end, it'll definitely come down to special teams tomorrow

Bruins came out and dominated the first 8 minutes but Raanta stopped everything. Then Canes get a lucky goal and from then on its the Canes outworking Bruins. Tony De Angelo looks like Paul Coffey out there. Cant believe the Rangers got rid of this player and any team could have picked him up for nothing. Bruins are unable to solve the Canes in Raleigh . Canes are playing with more heart and dedication.

Not taking anything away from the Hurricanes, they played a great game. However, I've noticed, especially this year, that the penalties being called are dictating the outcomes to a certain extent. Whatever happened to the day where the best team wins? Now it's more like the best powerplay wins
I see Freddie Andersen is hiding under his bed. It must be the playoffs. He's a smart guy, play great all year and fein injury for the playoffs because he knows it's all smoke and mirrors until the chips are down. Freddie doesn't do well in the spotlight.

Most of the Carolina "FANS" think they are cheering for a basketball game and don't even know what Hockey is. Legit crap hockey town. If the Refs weren't calling the bruins for every sneeze or sniffle on a Canes player the series would be over by now and BOSTON would be home waiting for the next round. The refs have been more than disgusting in this series. Horrible, and I mean on for both teams also. But Boston has been on the short end of the stick with the powerplays and most of the calls were ludicrous. Canes "FANS" have no idea what they even show up to the arena for and are only cheering loudly because they keep flashing Dale Earnhart pictures up on the screen every 5 minutes to keep the place rockin... I can only pray the Bruins take it in 7. If they don't it will be another round with a clueless fanbase in a crap hockey town. Ahhhhh just what Bettman loves..
