How To Cover Two Black Eyes With Makeup

I was on my way to work one morning when a pigeon decided to fly in my pathway. This stupid pigeon made me swerve out of the way, crash into a gate, and fly out my wheelchair. I felt pretty dizzy so I went to the ER to get checked out. I had a small concussion and a hematoma (the huge bump that formed on my forehead). A hematoma pretty much means I was bleeding under my skin. Well, when the blood began to drain from my forehead, it caused me to have two black eyes. I am fine and recovered well, thankfully. Here’s a video to show you how I covered them up with makeup! If there’s some things I took away from this traumatic experience:
1. Wear your seatbelt. 👩🏽🦼
2. My makeup skills improved by like 4%. 💄
3. Pigeons still suck. 🙅🏽♀️
4. A black eye isn’t always caused by a blow to the eye.👊🏽

Here are the products I used:
Eyebrows:
•@AnastasiaBeverlyHills brow powder duo (Ebony) & Highlighting duo
Eyes:
•1st Concealer: @TarteCosmetics Rainforest of the Sea Concealer or (a color correction would work, I used both some days)
•2nd Concealer: @hudabeauty
•Setting powder: @LauraMercier translucent powder
**The trick here is to pat with your fingers to really cover the purple as opposed to rubbing or pulling the product.**

Covering make up with more make-up is not really the same as covering actual bruises which have different textures/colors not to mention swelling.. (not to say you can't cover some bruising but not really with a minimal natural look and not a full on busted up face/broken nose& black eyes, not completely anyway.. you'll always be able to see differences and tell the swelling)

these were real bruises... I had a concussion that caused me to have 2 black eyes lol that was how I actually looked without makeup
What concelar did you use?
I used two. Rainforest of the Sea by Tarte (but it's been discontinued unfortunately) and Nars, radiant creamy. Building with Tarte was the main one tho. That concealer was the best thing ever. I took it to a shoot I did when I still had my black eyes and the makeup artist was very impressed by the product haha

Weirdest evenly placed black eyes I've ever seen.....so perfectly matched. I've had black eyes, there's ALWAYS been swelling and an irregular outline in a variety of colours. Both eyes have NEVER been so perfectly symmetrically discoloured either. Would love to know how you managed to get the bruise pattern you did. If you hit your nose or forehead bang on in the middle (equal force on both sides) there would also be marks and swelling on your nose or forehead, so please explain exactly how you got the perfectly even black eyes without using make up
@@margaretcorfield9891 why tf would I fake having black eyes first of all. second, just because my bruising wasn't the same shape as yours its fake...? that's extremely ignorant of you. I'm literally covering up the HEMMORAGING bump on my forehead in the video that caused the black eyes. you're literally being rude for no reason.
