Found you originally on Quintessence with Susanna Salk. They did a great job showcasing your beautiful home and aesthetic! Glad I found these new videos and your books. Will have to check them out. You and Steve are both so talented and have a great synergy together which really comes across :-)
Wow!! as I mentioned in a previous post this is so wonderful to see a video along with books I have read and will look forward to watching all the other videos. I think you both are totally precious!! Comfort and Beauty are definetly married in this living room and home. The plaster is fantastic and yes it definetly looks old world and charming. Love how you manage to hide the tvs something I definetly like. Love the 1/2 shades which give great light. The plaster pieces are beautiful and those doors are incredible...love the hidden screen i'm sure i will watch this over and over. Much love from Texas!!
Thank you SO much for putting these on UA-cam!! Your books have inspired many a project in my own home, and I’ve become quite fond of orbital and detail sanders and all things raw wood. 😉😉. I stripped my entire kitchen and every door in the house and what a transformation!! And it was FREE!
I believe I found you on UA-cam like an intuitive guide connecting my images of The Home we like to create, Me and my husband enjoyed your home tour. We find it so cozy, nostalgic and full of "Home sweet home" feeling, not to forget those roses... Ah... I already feel their smell the beauty around me ❤️
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. I first came across a video of you all doing your morning animal chores and I was hooked! Sending you greetings from Kentucky. Stay well!
We love your beautiful home. My husband and I would like to know how to do the over grout textured wall behind our cookstove. Is there a special name for this technique, or a place to learn how to create such beautiful textured walls? We are so happy to have discovered you on UA-cam. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, plants, and animals.
Hi! The wall behind our range is limestone with a layer of linen grout on top. Our stone installer applied the grout, mixed with a small amount of sand, with a trowel and then used a wet brush to wash it over the stone pieces.
@@brookegiannetti7696 Thank you for sharing this information, and your beautiful life with us here in Maine. I wish that we could grow rosemary here the way that it grows in California. We love your farm!
Absolutely gorgeous! I have your books, adore your style and would love to take a 'field trip' to Ojai once COVID-19 has diminished. A small question...I love your pea gravel. Do you know what the name is? We only seem to have two kinds here in Sonoma County and one is too gold, the other too grey. Thanks!
I would love to know where you get those old books from towards the end of the video and also the ones in the cabinet. Besides antique stores are there any other places you can buy them? Those blue ones at the end are just absolutely spectacular!
By the way, I love the tapestry even more than the screen! And that gilt mirror on the mantel is just so beautiful. 💕💕. May I ask what you do to move the tapestry if you want to watch the TV? I love the idea of hanging an an antique rug over the flat screen but not sure how accessible the TV would be. Thank you. 😊

Our gravel is Hanley Gold 3/8” from Santa Barbara Stone 😊

Hi! All of the books are old. You can check 1st Dibs online, since it is a little difficult to visit antique stores during thing time.
Can you adjust the video screen?
Hi
What a wonderful house❣️but I wonder....who does the dusting🤔l
Love from Norway🤗

We don't watch much television in this room. When we do watch, we just lift the tapestry and put it behind the television.
Your farm is beautiful, but it would have been nice if you had used a real camera instead of seeing the tour through the peephole lens of your phone.
Your home reflects peace and style. I love it!
