Nice looking food and love the night life what a great education for the kids beautiful family and job well done keep it up. You have shown how great Australia is
Hi,first off great informative videos and love watching some of the great trips you and the family do I’m still working my way through all your content Just a question how have you attached your canopy on the new rear racks as I basically have the same setup did you have to strengthen the supports or did you just bolt though and how’s it holding up thanks, Paul
Hi Paul. Thanks for the feedback on the videos. I love hearing it. I mounted the ladder racks straight into the canopy with the bolting kits that was supplied with it. i did not need to add any additional support in my particular canopy but I did get advise on that from the canopy supplier and an independent fabricator. I have used the canopy extensively off road with the roof top tent and freestanding 270 awning and I have not yet had any issues at all. I actually do have a video on how I’ve done it. I hope this helps and please feel free to ask any more questions you may have. Thanks, Elvin.
Thanks mate. I hope you get to do it soon. Mate honestly I’m really bad at keeping track of costs with these things. We book the major stays before hand and the rest is usually free or low cost camps and of course fuel. I’ll try and be better at keeping a track on future trips as I realise it can be a great help to have estimates of these kinds of trips. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting.
@@AdventuringPals haha same here man. Yeah hopefully by next year I'll have my 4wd and then start heading out for some adventures. Maybe I'll bump into ya!
@@positivepete4265 good luck with it mate. There’s a great deal of country to explore by 4wd. Definitely would love a chat if you ever see me out in the wild.
A great little mini series with lots of information thanks shall continue to follow your channel. If its not inconvenient can I ask a couple of questions, I watched your 60000k round up on the mr very interesting you tow a 2200kg caravan have you put stronger springs in the back if so what weight 400/500ks and did you have a suspension lift any other tips would be appreciated, maybe a small mini series on your triton??? Happy Travels to you and family. 😊😊
Hi mate. Thanks for following along. Yes I have done the suspension on the Triton. I’ve put on outback Armour suspension all around with constant 400kg rear springs. Gave me about 40mm lift. I also put in air bag man air bags to level out under different loads. I use my Triton for work with a work canopy, for camping with a camper canopy and for towing so it’s great to be able to adjust the rear springs to suit what I’m doing. I will make more detailed video on all this in the near future. Just need to find some time lol. Hope this helps mate.
@@AdventuringPals cheers mate thanks for getting back to me. Ive just made my mind up and I’ll be buying it after Christmas. Thanks for your help and you and your family have a great Christmas
@@AdventuringPals hi mate. How are you? Hope you and your family had a great Christmas and a happy New Year. We decided on the same canyon rooftop tent you have which we will be getting in the next couple of weeks, but we are going to go with the aluminium version so we can put a solar panel on top. Thanks for your help mate.
@@jjexplore9678 oh that’s great to hear. I’d love to hear back what you think of the aluminium shell version. I think they would be great to mount solar to.
Loved the drone shots! Looked like beautiful country to explore. That meal at the pub, which you said was the best you ever had, looked amazing!!
Thanks mate. Arkaroola was full of surprises that’s for sure.

Another great video. One day I'll do all this. If you don't mind me asking, will you ever do a video on the costs? Fuel, rentals, food etc?

Hi mate, epic series really loved it. Just wondering how the rooftop tent held up and did it get any dust inside during your travels cheers
Thanks mate. I appreciate the comment. The Roof top tent was awesome. We really loved it. Easy to set up and pack up and no dust inside.
