One of the most interesting stories to unfold in photography is probably the remarkable work of #VivianMaier. The nanny-turned-photographer left an incredible amount of eye-catching images, shocking even professional photographers. A new exhibition at the Today Art Museum in #Beijing seeks to take visitors on a journey into the lonely and mysterious world of the legendary Vivian Maier, and the vivid world from the 1950s to the 1980s captured by her lens. CGTN's Tian Wei talked to Jesse Zhang and Anne Morin, curator of the #exhibition titled "A Hidden Genius: Vivian Maier."

Should be called "EYE FOR THE ORDINARY". Because she was just an ordinary person with a talent for watching her surroundings and the energy to save up for very expensive cameras (for her) and use them in a great way to show ordinary people like herself. -- No rich person could (or would) have taken these pictures, that is for sure! Well ok, exactly this might be the reason why some people call it "extraordinary" -- because in their world it is. But it is just the ordinary world, mind you.
