Hey everyone I hope you are enjoying the video!! Thank you so much for watching :)
Just a friendly reminder that this is my first playthru and I would appreciate you keeping backseating to a minimum unless I am asking for help. I don't mind mechanic help but just telling me stuff I haven't discovered yet is a bit unfair. When you played this game for the first time you had the opportunity to google things if you felt stuck but you also had the opportunity to figure things out alone. If you guys continue to just tell me things you are taking away the opportunity for me to discover something in the future like you may have when you played. Please consider this before commenting help
1:59:57 - Just wondering why you don't activate the side quests when you're doing them? The yellow path you saw (when you said it wanted you to go all the way round) was for the main quest you have active, not the way back to Jun's for the side quest.
That little watcher in the cauldron was the MVP! 🤣
Idk if anyone has mentioned, but a combat tip: try using Bow + Concentration combination. Also yellow parts on scan mean they are weak parts (receive more damage), which only Bow can target.
Early game lets you beat enemies easy with melee but you lost a lot of time practicing bow skill, Mid-Late game enemies won’t let you go near them like the Fire Bellowback in the Sigma Cauldron. Basically enemies in the game are designed to be fought with ranged weapons, melee is a complimentary method.
One more tip (for early game) would be using skill points to invest in Concentration/Triple Shot skill tree. Playing on Very Hard makes the game really combat heavy so those skills help the most in these scenarios
Horizon zero Dawn is a game about finding out WHAT happened.
Horizon Forbidden West is a game about finding out WHY it happened.
The vantage points have a lovely side story, besides the audio that plays you should enter the datapoint in the menu, there is more to read.
Quick QOL tip, they copied over the remove pickup animation from Forbidden West, if you go to Settings > General > Pickup animation and turn that off you can turn off the resources pickup animation for plants/wood which means you dont bend down every time you something up so you can pick up resources while running, handy if you are in a fight and need health berries quick. (if you haven't turned that off already, not watched all of your videos yet)

The collectibles aren't organized by specific location. If you have the map piece, it'll show on your map. Vantages, cups, Banuk figures, and metal flowers are all shown on the map.
Your first cup is on the map. It's not in the beginning area. Again, the map shows all of them, even in the fog of war. Look to the west.
Watching this in bits and the whole time it kills me cuz there was a button on the d pad to summon a mount you’d overridden 💀💀💀
wants me to gauge my eyes out her just using the spear.. good luck with the corrupted T-Jaw
FYI…when you are at a merchant, you are not picking up the free treasure box. It usually has fast travel pack, so you don’t have to waste you meat, although you appear to like crafting them, but free is good. Every merchant has one, so I recommend picking them up. I really like you wanting to figure things out. Also go a bit slower, looking left and right as well.
It is my favorite game of all time and I have played this game around 40 times. I will not spoil anything, unless you have questions, then I can help. The free treasure boxes were not a spoiler, since you stared at them, then passed them up.
Fantastic job so far, your outfit is very cool and you game play is awesome. Well done!
glad you liked the post. If you want to see how close you were to the power cell, which I am so glad you found, go back to your previous post. You entered the room, picked up two crates of supplies and turned, then stopped before leaving. The power cell marker was nice and green and a foot away from you. I got a bit of a chuckle when you then left, knowing you would be back😊. You need to see it to believe how close you where lol. Keep up the great work!
You're not scanning the datapoints correctly. You're scanning the icon above the datapoint and not the point itself, which is why you don't get the text or voice dialogue sometimes, like the last one you scanned in the ancient armour bunker. I made the same mistake until I learnt!
I see a ton of players having this issue over and over. 😂
Great stream, hope you enjoy the game! While aiming press R3 for zooming your shots from distance especially is a must! 🙂
Good afternoon Krysttl
Btw on the first vantage point you encountered in the game, pretty sure you didn't saw the "past image". Clicked on it, listened to the dialogue but never looked around. For you to decide if it's of any worth to you.
Spending half of your time looking at the chat will do that
The armor can’t be obtained until really late, because of reasons…so don’t worry about that atm
💘❣️
Ahh, it's sooooo frustrating you turn on performance mode twice now, walk a bit forward, can't notice the difference and then immediately switch to graphics. Here's the thing, stand in one place (preferably somewhere with foliage and loot nearby) and do a 360 turn a few times in each performance and graphics mode and pay attention to the visibility nearby. There is NO way that anyone can say they don't see the difference. You say you wont turn on motion blur, why now? You heard from someone that it's not good? I do agree that motion blur sucks. But 30fps is like motion blur on steroids. And people in your twitch chat are full of shit that want graphics mode. On stream with the bitrate limitation AND 30 fps on top of that, the "graphics" difference is simply non existent. What is 100% noticeable is the motion smoothness between 30 and 60 fps.
@@bruceleeroy4656 If you keep on watching then you can see I end up changing it permanently! And motion blur makes me feel sick so I don’t use it. Thanks for watching!! :)
@@KrysttlVodsso glad to hear you are switching 😁. Follow on youtube incoming. Can't wait for you to explore the game further.
"What is 100% noticeable is the motion smoothness between 30 and 60 fps" - Except its not... not in a game like this, at least on stream after the fact. Some games the difference is pronounced, but other games its imperceptible. I've played this game with others, having them guess if its 30fps or 60fps, and its a 50/50 coinflip as to whether they're right most of the time. Here watching this stream, I don't see any difference at all. To me it is like audio, and the 180kbps vs 320 kbps crowd. 95% vs 100%, and only fanatics can perceive that 5% distinction. What is frustrating is the repeat discussion about it, like it really matters at all. The gameplay and story are the attraction here. Just my $0.03. ;)
@@OrthodoxAtheist "except it's not"? 3/4 of people have set their PS5 on PERFORMANCE setting! While "graphics" or whatever the 30fps is called, is the default setting on PS5. But yea, if you like having your eyes bleed, carry on with whatever floats your boat.
Frame rate over resolution always
Hope this isn't too Spoilerish for WHERE they are, but Power Cells are only in areas with Main Quest Storyline.
Performance on my 55in Sony Bravo plays smoother on the PS5, I recommend performance or balance, but I guess it depends on the type of TV you have.. Resolution only sharpens up the texture a bit but it doesn't play as smooth as performance.
There was Zero reason to remaster this game
Blablabla
It wasn't super necessary, but it definitely looks better, more on par with Forbidden West, and since it's only a 10 bucks upgrade: why the hell not? And no, it doesn't hinder the development of new games, the remaster and porting studions are just that.
I dunno the animations are much improved
