When SWR start running services to and from Portsmouth and Weymouth, it will mean much increased capacity (also when GWR start running 5-coach Turbo trains) and increased frequency to and from Portsmouth and Southampton Central - will be handy when I have to change trains here at Southampton Central. In my opinion, having a Class 450 coupled to a Class 444 will probably only encourage passengers to board the Class 444 set.
I don't mind First | MTR taking the franchise because I know Great Western Railway do a good job so I got high hopes for South Western Railway. Great Video!
How often do the South Western Railway stopping services to Southampton Central run from Portsmouth Harbour I just wondered because these services mostly from Portsmouth & Southsea
How did they get the Phil Sayer South Western Railway announcement. I assume they took the south from the south west trains and the western railway bit from great western and combined them together!!
That driver is going to be stopped by signaller and get in lot of trouble for having front lights on. Great video subbed to your channel. R.I.P Phil sayer
2:19 nice to see a 444 with a 450! Will this be normal under Southwestern Railways? Nice to see this station has changed to Southwestern Railways, even though the trains haven't!
I just hope SWR paints their trains in a color other than white. There's too many white trains around London. I mean you have Thameslink/Great Northern, C2C, Chiltern, Greater Anglia, and even some Southeastern trains that are pretty much all white with different colored doors. SWR should keep to more of a red color or maybe if FirstGroup is in on it now, they should bring in their signature purple. I loved the purple FGW and FCC trains.
Ahhh bugger I just seen what I think it may be!! en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Western_Railway_(train_operating_company)#/media/File%3ASouthwesternrailway.png

RIP phil sayer. My favourite announcer. Cool vid mate
Great filming and great video dude 😎 👍
That train will get stopped by the Signaller at some point. Headlights on the rear @ 3.39! oooops

I wouldn't get my hopes up with MTR though.
Sawk The Conquerer Yes good point. It would of been nice if it was only First taking it over but we have to wait and see..
True.
Have you travelled with Great Western a lot? They are awful the sooner they are taken off the current GWR franchise the better. Good luck is all I say

Beautiful video bravo
Thank you
How did Phil Sayer record these SWR announcements when he is dead
Chiltern006 the might of taken the western railway part from the GWR announcement and put it together with the south part of the SWT announcement
yes they did
Yeah, that's what it sounds like. Good ol' audio splicing to the rescue.

3:44 Uh... someone left their front lights on?
What a twat the driver is
When the lights at the back were on it made me laugh
Great video mate :) I hope south western railway will do a good job! :)
Thanks mate :)
Well this aged nicely
@@ritashandmadecards3151 Yeah...
This new company will still be SWT in my heart
Please don’t tell me it’ll be god damn First taking over East Midlands Trains next year.
Most probably lol
You can see the SWR era starting to happen. It's going to be Good, just like the Hong Kong MTR.
No way

Oh now that sucks that they're being retired. I love the 313s. I'm guessing you live along either the ECML or the Hertford Loop?
jbyoung100 they did dark and light blue with white writing.
No trains in new livery? I thought one of the desiros had a new livery according to a wikipedia image
Etra Zombanya ウルトラ - アルバニー that is just a mockup
no its not
It just came out!
444040 and 450111 and some class 159s have the new livery
Love the operators name.
Hate the livery.
I mean can you imagine London Buses red today, grey tommorow.
Still can't believe SWT are no more But.got high hopes for SWR
Pity they didn't go all old-fashioned like with GWR
Ah but we all know GWR didn't rebrand overnight. It's still rebranding some of the trains and stations as we speak now ;)
They did with the name
I feel like First Group will run a shitty service like they do with GWR, its honestly appauling plus there logo looks bollocks 😂
I really hope there upcoming livery isn't going to be as gash as it's new logo!
🤔🤔🤔

When did Phil die?
Event Medical Solutions Ltd He didn’t. He probably announced this when swr was announced (before his death)

@@luke6560 I think I meant these announcements were taken way before he died.
GWR is the best than SWR
It always be south west trains for me
