He's also smart about not going overboard with the insults at 13:13. Nothing turns off a seller more than listing off every little thing wrong with their inventory. I'm a landlord, and I get prospects trying to talk trash about my properties all the time. Sets off my Karen alarm lightning fast. It doesn't make me lower the price. It makes me blacklist the prospect.

Went out this morning garage "sailing" because of Trash Talk 1 and 2. Picked up a box of Hot Wheels for $10. Already found one of the cars for sale on eBay for $9.99. I haven't even gone through the rest of the box yet. Also got a plush Turbo from the Disney movie with tag (never used) for $0.50. Found it online for $16.99. Had lots of fun doing this. Since i have been reselling stuff since about 2011 (mostly on the side) I can say a few things...
1.-You can make a living reselling used stuff but is gonna be hard, you depend in yourself so unless you’re a Gary V kind of guy working a insane amount of hours every day and putting a insane amount of effort get a full time job and make this on your free hours as a side job.
2.-You need to LEARN about stuff or you need to specialize in one item/thing or category.
3.-You will buy something sometimes and won’t be as hot or as easy to sell as you thought when buying it.
4.-You need to understand one thing you make money when you buy, unless is something expensive let’s say $100+, and sometimes you make money in people ignorance, simply put sometimes people does not know the real value of what is selling. I know it sounds bad but it is true.
5.-You will find items were you will make $7 profit every day, you won’t get big profit items every day ($100+).
6.-FEES... you will pay fees for eBay, PayPal, Gas, shipping, etc. Let’s say you sell one item for $25 on eBay you will pay somewhere around $5 total shipping included (depending on the item size) + the item cost to you. You will keep the rest. So if you buy something for $1 and you sell it for $25 you are making a profit of about $19 in a single item (depending in the item size, bigger and heavier you will pay more for shipping) If you got a eBay membership (you pay monthly) is a little different.
My best score was one item for $50 sold for $750 one item for $10 sold for $150 and one item for $10 sold for $100 I found all this the same day plus some extra stuff. On those 3 items I made somewhere around $850 in profit in a single week plus some other stuff. You won’t find those deals every day, keep that in mind.
Do Craigslist and use other selling services not only eBay. Ebay is good for small rare vintage items but you can get the same amount minus fees for some other big expensive items on some other places. If you really want to do this for a living and as your only job don’t corner yourself as a eBay seller only.
Again you need to learn about stuff so you can see something and guess a selling price based in your acknowledgment this is very important. As soon as you pull your phone to check the price in front of the seller the price of things just went up. Or specialize in something with Gary V is vintage toys, he seems to know some about it. Once you find something and sell it you will keep that item in your mind so will learn a lot once you are selling.
The more people learn about this kind of stuff is gonna be harder and profits will keep shrinking, but keep doing it there is always a small piece of gold for those who don’t give up. And one more thing don’t be a jackass to other buyers, once you start doing this you will start seeing familiar faces every weekend. Don’t be rude to sellers if the price is high don’t talk crap say thanks have a good day turn around and leave there is another sale somewhere a few blocks from him/her.
Good hunting and watch it with those uturns... you will know what I’m talking about soon...

Remember something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. Or the value of what something is worth is when the buyer and seller can agree on a price that it's worth.

You have to do it consistently, you must also be patient and expect nothing in the beginning. Once you have so many items posted something is bound to sell, so as you add more and more and more items will start selling pretty much constantly. The entire success of this process is successful over a span of time not instantaneous. I just discovered this guy yesterday. Been flipping for a few years. I love how excited he is over 35 dollars. Since he's a multi millionaire and all. I'm trying to be more like him and enjoy the game instead of just focusing on the money side of flipping because it only takes you so far as a motivator. Listing is a pain no matter what lol

He isn't a multimillionaire if he's wasting time buying cheap shit at garage sales. It's wild how easily duped you people are.

I like the new inset Insta Story clips that show different angles & captions of what was going on real time. Kudos to DRock, Caleb or whoever edited that. 💪🏼💯
