If you look carefully at the photograph of the SMC Cartage Company building front at the beginning of this videoclip about the "St Valentine's Day Massacre", you can tell that the roof of that building was actually above the tar line that the red arrow points to in this videoclip (or at least the front facade of the building extended above that tar line) because you can clearly see a another tar line above the tar line indicated by the red arrow in this videoclip that extends the full length of the side of adjacent building.

Been there in Sept. 2004 on business visit. Had a weird, paranormal experience there at night where the wall is. Strange odd shadows (not from trees) dancing back and forth across the wall. I had a witness who saw it too. We had climbed over the fence, approached the wall, got a spooky feeling. We exited stage left quickly after that. This place is for real.

It’s ironic cause the changing demographics have prob made this area 10 times more dangerous than what it was.

Or news is more prevalent now. Wider news coverage can give a skewed perception of reality.

Just so happens moran didn't show because a cop car and it's also the thing that ruined capones public eye. Moran knew it set it up and wanted the public to turn on capone.

That was an historical building. It should never have been torn down. It should be a criminal act to do so.
