Mass Effect Tribute | I Am Not Alone

- Never in my life have I been so profoundly emotionally affected by a group of fictional characters. Words are hardly sufficient to describe how deeply this story touched me, and so I’ve attempted to capture some small fraction of its impact in video format. Dozens and dozens of hours went into making this, and every single shot, cutscene, and voice file was carefully handpicked, with love, from my own Shepard’s story.
I originally authored this tribute as a means of ameliorating the pain of seeing the trilogy come to an end (yeah, it hits that hard - and this wasn’t even my first playthrough). But to anyone interested in a thoroughly-compelling sci-fi story (where you have to make hard choices that actually matter), set in an incredibly imaginative and painstakingly-crafted universe, with unforgettable larger-than-life characters, a gorgeous and heartbreaking score, and poignant writing that will have you laughing, crying, and exploring what it is to be human… I would wholeheartedly invite you to step into the world of Mass Effect.
Warning: there are some implied spoilers toward the end, particularly regarding the fate of several characters, as well as some vague allusions to one possible version/outcome of the ending. However, keep in mind that depending on your choices, your story may turn out differently than mine, and I’ve tried really hard to artfully avoid (or, at least, only vaguely reference) any direct spoilers regarding the plotline of the games itself, as well as the end of the series.

There are a lot of games I love, but none of them come anywhere close to having the emotional impact that this series does. There is just nothing like it. Which means we have to keep going back for more rounds. Which means another week of ugly crying and painful withdrawal after 3 ends - but what choice do we have?! 💔😭😭😭😭😭

I had goosebumps from start too finish, well almost finish! As soon as the memorial wall came up i am was done. This was absolutely wonderful! This was really a great effort to piece some of the greatest moments together!

@@MuscleMagickaQuest Don't bother. Guards ain't there. They figured out the Necros are comin' for me. Plan was to clean the bank, ghost the mercs, break wide for the tunnel. And then somebody got a lucky shot off with this rocket launcher here... and took out the sled. Guards took off on foot but rigged the door so no one could follow. They'll take the one ship in the hangar and leave everyone else to die.

And to answer your question - I do think that I'm in a good place to start making videos again, hopefully regularly, or at least semi-regularly! I have 2 other videos that I started working on some time ago, which I need to finish, and then after that we'll have to figure out what Muscle & Magicka looks like in 2021 (well, 2022 really)!

i just binged mass effect like two weeks ago. i bought it early in the year but just recently cleared the HD space to install it. It's been wonderful! the characters are wonderful! The story! however many of the situations are conveniently contrived and poorly written, but I like the idea of making friends through struggle and then finding them again to help win the bigger battle. It's been good, Shepherd-Commander.

In order to get Wrex's "Don't piss in my ear and tell me it's raining" line, I had to record him in conversation with a particular minor character toward the beginning of ME 1. That character's name is "Executor Pallin."

Destroying all synthetic life including EDI and the geth is NOT a better ending than turning all synthetic and organic life into a hybrid of each other as not only doesn’t Joker have to be heartbroken over EDIs death but it also makes Legions sacrifice be for nothing and we know that Legion is willing to sacrifice himself for his people for intelligence and independence
Was fantastic until Liara's romance, we all know Shep belongs with Tali the only good and right option, Garrus if your fem shep. Lol in all seriousness, this was greatly done.
