This game came out of nowhere for me. I have dozens of games on my steam wishlist -- this wasn't one of them. I've got about a dozen hours in so far, and it is a *lot* of fun. It scratches that souls-like itch well.
Striga is one of the early game op weapons! You need to get used to it's handling, but then it blasts absolutely everything! It is a handheld flaming aoe ballista! And it pins enemies to the wall! 😄
PSA: You can actually drop down into the chamber where Burning Stake is found, and jump out of it again using double-jump. No need to spend the Witchfire on opening the door, unless you want to for completionist sake.
It's "Kirfane." It's spelled with an 'r', not a 't'. A Kirfane is an ancient white-handled ritual knife used in witchcraft to cut herbs and inscribe candles.
by the way, you only actually need one debuff per floor but it has to be from the green gem thing. you could end up having to take more if you use the pillars
Let me ask you a question what level did you go down to do this and what gun did you have because I’m level 40 something and I’m having a great difficulty. I’m just seeing if I’m doing something wrong. Please let me know. Thank you so much.
Not the guy who made the video but I did the vault at level 30-35ish I think? I used the basilisk and the echo, and used the frost cone and ice sphere spells. Also, the vulture demonic weapon can make some bits of this vault much easier. The key with this vault is nailing jumps and using cover/corners at the right time. I know you commented 3 weeks ago but just in case you're still struggling here are some tips: Go in the vault with all the arcana you can, and with full ammo/elixirs if possible. In the 1st room, stay on the entry staircase and peek round the corner, kill off the goons first before peeking too far to avoid the musketeer shots. After clearing those, two goons will spawn as you go further in. After that, 3 arquebusiers will spawn, two in front of you, and one behind you. When they spawn, double back and rush the one behind you with a close range weapon, then take cover behind the nearby rock and deal with the other two. As you approach a doorway, 3 swordsmen spawn close together. Using a light spell (frost cone/shockwave works best) you can stun and dispatch these three. Just be ready. Peep through the open door and kill the arquebusier in the next room. Enter the 2nd room, 6 red guys will spawn. Step back and use the doors as cover, but watch the minimap in case any try to rush you. After the cave bit you have to crouch/slide through, watch for 2 musketeers, try to peek one at a time and be aware that a headshot will interrput their attacks, you may just need to shoot them first. After comes the hardest segment. You have to jump a gap and you land in front of the first green light. Get behind the rock in front of you. 2 arques and 2 swordsmen will spawn. Use a heavy spell here (ice sphere, golden bell work best). Prioritise the swordsmen. Only peek out for short periods of time to avoid losing sanity. After this segment, stay out of the light but hug the wall so that only the leftmost musketeer can see you. Kill it quick. Gradually peek round the wall until you see two red guys, kill them, then peek a little more until you see two more musketeers. Same strat as before. Go for headshots to interrupt their attacks, focus on killing one of them then duck back behind cover, then peek and kill the other. This bit is tricky so if you have the vulture, it can make this bit a lot easier. From here on out it's fairly simple, just some tricky jumps and more of that careful peeking/wall hugging to deal with musketeers. In the final room, stay behind cover to avoid the light, but watch the minimap as enemies will try to rush you. Use your heavy/light spell and vulture here and you should be fine. Take your time, practice makes perfect. You may have already done the vault by now but hopefully this helps someone at least!
By the way, don’t think this game is for casual. It’s kind of a little bit more hotter even when your gear has leveled up the enemy will get tougher and is going to be extra hard been playing close to 18 hours try to get to the third level of somehow fails just saying, wishing they were easy and hard mode
Its hardly a rougelike. Thats actually a very small part of the game. Very small. Its more Souls like / doom eternal with a sprinkle of rouge like tarkov
@@FrostlikeReignRight? I’m trying to even think what’s even rogue-like about it. I guess the sort of randomized spawns? And maybe the permanent upgrades but it really doesn’t have that rogue feel to me.

Oh I didn't know that! From the bridge above?
Ah, good guide. I was trying to get the fire heavy spell but had everything done in my research.

my mandrakes bugged any help? i don’t have the symbol but i have the fetish and it’s keeping track of kills
you don't actually need to get to the kirfane in time to obtain it, i ran out of time and still got it. the time is there for one of the two chests
Do you plan on doing content on Remnant 2's DLC 3?
Working through it now actually! How are you liking it?
Thanks man always a good help
"Early" but requires GNOSIS 2....
Yeah...i thought the same. I'm on the 2nd Area and just completed Gnosis 1
I thought Gnosis 2 was pretty early. Got it almost immediately after 1 because I didn’t see much of a jump in difficulty on 1.

I wish this game wasn’t a rouge-like. Besides that I’ve been impressed so far.
