Big tip with hangfire, pump them full of rounds then dont reload, aim at the enemy dodge and IMMEDIATELY reload. The explosions will pop their soul orbs stunning them and making them weak.

When shieldbearer spawns that orb you are supposed to stay inside because otherwise it is why you were taking damage? It was basically making you choose between keeping stable health or being restrained in limited area for movement
An old player here. Gnosis 4 ain't no shit, the earlier versions of this game on high levels were absolute nightmare fuel. No heal? - calamity Too much heal? - calamity. Activated a trap? - instant fucking calamity. Ate a mushroom - calamity, shot a mushroom - guess what? Calamity. And the calamity events were MUCH harder, they took away most of your health. So yeah guys, the game was made easier
ive been running striga and echo which works well for me. Only been playing a couple of days and got them both to level 2 to get their perks going. Kinda fallen into a fire/shock build. Gameplay feels a lot like destiny which helps me cos Im a big destiny player
Took me 10 times to beat the first boss dude was soo annoying than when he opens the green bubble with the shield and you have to stay in or you take damage
I just got the game but I am struggling with the keybindings. Its hard to get to sprint, dash, reload etc as fast and efficient as I need to.. considering binding stuff to my mouse or just going with controller
@@13_faces i dont think you need to be really fast. just practice and ull get it. the good thing about this game is you can choose guns that work for your playstyle

Came to say this. Witchfire is quickly becoming my favorite single player shooter I've ever played. Every part of this game just oozes quality.

Iron castle map, go underneath the bridge and open a small path with witch fire and you’ll be able to unlock one of the best heavy spells in the game!
Cant do that till gnosis three and it looks like he is in gnosis one
Gnosis 2 and 3 aint no joke. So intense. Each run feels like a single player raid.
Bro I’m on 2 and a quarter from getting to 3 and the game stresses me tf out the only prob I really have is ammo wise

The new system is pretty good but I surely miss the old ass whooping😢

Midas, hang fire, fireballs or blighted cyst, burning stake, severed ear, henbane, and shadowmist or ring or wings. Best gear in the game hands down.
Midas, rotweaver, burning stake, doesnmattwr what else. Can midas reload cheese basically everyone in a matter of a few seconds.
@ninponighthawk some people don't use that cheese. Once your lvl 100+ the game is trivial on any map and difficulty

with the right loadout it doesn't matter anymore

just do my best and try to make it as entertaining as possible

I much prefer the dual sense controller for this game.
i am using alt for dash, much easier, maybe it will help you
the grind in this game is terrible. too repetitve, fight the same 3-4 enemy types. got bored after around 5 hours of playing
